I added a roof sunshade to my refreshed M3 LR and it makes a huge difference. I got it on Amazon with clips sewed in
I've had a similar one of these for a couple years and the adhesive on the rear pieces kept coming loose. I had to use alcohol and scrub the film off panels on the Tesla panels. The plastic Tesla uses has a film on it that may keep the cover pieces from sticking to them. After a good cleaning the pieces have stayed on. The cover seems to also cut dow some of the noise from the rear of the car too.
I suggest 3m adhesive promoting wipes for this to stick 4ever..

Even dumb criminals know that the car will record your mug if you even come close to it.
One reason I bought a Tesla is because it didn't come with one of these useless cargo covers....my wife's car has one and it's the first thing we just stored in the garage and will never use it. Don't leave valuables in the car and the windows are factory dark tinted already so it's hard to see in.
My MYLR came with a cargo cover, and like your spouse’s, it’s going to forever live in the garage. Like you said, just don’t store valuable items in your car.

@@JayDee917 yes cargo covers and opening sun roofs are two options that I’d forgo if possible on any vehicle 🚗
It’s not really for long term storage of items, but more for short term storage while you’re out running around doing errands. I completely agree that long term storage of items in a car is just an invitation for theft. Curious what you do day to day shopping.
