Im currently working for a consulting firm as a recruiter and as i've placed a few BA's, Ive started to gain an interest in what they do and decided to work towards becoming one as well. Since im already established in the work space, my goal is to work into landing a BA consulting role within my company ( we have several openings that are not being sourced as of yet) this video was very informative and I look forward to looking at your others ty!
Did you have experience before the job. I’m getting my Master in Business Analytics but I’m transitioning from a Grants/Contract admin job. I’m used to dealing with multiple departments for project but hoping the experience can transition over.
If some is still waiting to hear back from an interview, please would you advise the person to contact the team? If yes, what sort of question can the person ask, while they wait?
Hey, I have a video about this coming in the next week. I think its preference really, they both have their pros and cons. For contracting, you can start as your first BA job to be honest, there's no specific years of experience to have as long as you have the confidence, soft skills and required hard skills you should be good to go
Hi Pippa, Thanks for your videos. They are really helpful. Please what advise would you give to someone who is expecting to hear back from an interview? Would you advise they contact the team while waiting to hear back? If yes, what sort of question do you advise the person to ask? Thanks.
Yes, if the interviewer has not responded, the best thing is to ask - just email the agency or the interviewer and ask about the result of the interview and whether you were successful. If not, could they please provide feedback so that you can be better for your next interview. 😀
@@Pippa.G Hi Pippa, I tried booking the session and they are a bit expensive 😢 for now. I am afraid I may not be able to afford this now, but definitely soon, as I would like to be one of your mentees. Be that as it may, are there resources you could refer, I have watched this video and it is very helpful. Literally a new comer into this area of business.
What you are doing is making sense to US!
I'm glad 😊
