Photobiomodulation Therapy - Key Factors for Successful Treatment

Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy a form of light therapy that utilizes non-ionizing light sources in the visible (400 - 700 nm) and near-infrared (700 - 1100 nm) electromagnetic spectrum. It is a nonthermal process involving endogenous chromophores eliciting photophysical (i.e., linear and nonlinear) and photochemical events at various biological scales.
Appropriate dosing is an important factor in determining the relative success of PBM therapy treatments. To achieve adequate dosing, there are 3 key parameters that must be considered:
1) The condition being treated
2) The absorption characteristics of any intervening tissues between the light source and the target tissue
3) The mechanism of delivery

Hello George. Currently, treatment of brain tissue with therapeutic laser is not approved by the FDA. There is encouraging research in this area being conducted, but it is still in the investigational stages

Can this technology be adapted to 405 nm blue light and have an attachment added for sublingual application to study the treatment of using photobiomodulation to help treat the blood for COVID-19 patients? I can share study abstracts from PUBMed that show this is a desirable wavelength for infectious disease. Are you interested in studying this?

The data You show disappear before one can read them are written in minuscule characters and disappear before one can read them.This is not the best way to transmit PRECISE information about the use of instruments that can cause harm if one does not know HOW MUCH, HOW LONG, one can apply the treatment.
