- Gary took stage at Sonisphere 2014 with a huge expectant crowd waiting to hear his superb catalogue of great hits. They were not disappointed. This performance of Metal shows just why festival organizers are so keen to snap up Gary at the first opportunity. Great job Mr Newman.

That was awesome! Love Gary Numan!
Absolutely! It's great to see an artist fully emerged in their performance, whilst avoiding appearing pretentious.
Great performance pity the crowd didnt respond most just seemed to stand motionless this was brilliant numan as his best
Superb !
Check out My Machines from Battles with Gary doing guest vocals. That definitely put him back on the map.
does anyone know why steve harris had to return to the uk a few months ago? apparently it was to do with his family,so i can only assume a bereavement, but i simply wish to be informed, with no insensitivity meant..
Why does gary always let on he is playing the keyboard :
Because he is playing
+Rob Dawson Jr no he aint
+stephen haworth Yeah, he is...you can clearly hear the octaved Fs he's playing on on top of the previous bass synth. Does the same thing for a lot of his more fervent live plays of this awesome song
A real top of the range performance but an artist that is more relevant today than 30 years ago. His sound is beefier and matured beyond the whimpy teenager that had no clue how to 'perform' on stage all those years ago. If anyone still wants Numan to act on stage like he did back then.. then guess they ain't got no life !
