Staios addressed everything he had to in the off-season, the Ullmark trade in its own deserves an A!!! He didn’t have a lot of salary space, and they now have an identity that they haven’t had in a while!!!

This is my first time watching your podcast.
    Very good detailed analysis
I think we got the short end of the stick in the Chychrun trade ….
Including a pick to move Joseph and losing Branstrom for nothing. We’re questionable moves.
    Keep up the good work.

The core is pretty solid. Chychrun is the biggest softest defender -30 just horrible and a LD that had to go. Needed veterans and more players with grit. They did that and we are betting they make the playoffs. Great video btw!

I agree with the assessment of all the trades, but I keep wondering if the underwhelming returns are not due to lack of leverage by Ottawa and Staios.

The Korpisalo-Ullmark trade looks good on paper but time will indeed tell if enough of those moves Staios, following the Sens' final game of their last season but before preseason play starts in September, has this off-season made bring the team to anywhere near a 2025 playoff spot.

Giroux sometimes single handedly dragged Ottawa into games when they were kicking and screaming intent on being bad. So many times I'd check the score and see ottawa FINALLY got a goal and I'd guess every time it was Giroux. And it often was lmao
Him and Joseph I think brought a lot to the team and I'll miss Joseph. Chychrun leaving is probably for the best but the return on him and Joseph was meh
