Kinda think they dropped the ball on the spears, it’s my favourite weapon type and they all are almost identical move-set bar the odd magical move, all just basic one handed thrusting attacks, if you’ve played nioh 2 or any of the dynasty games I think it’s safe to say the could have went maybe a little bit more variation in the spears but it’s just my opinion.
TY! Also a, little suggestion: might be a good idea to relocate the weapon card into the top left of the screen when you’re doing non-combat moveset showcases, there’s more dead space up there due to the way the 3rd person camera is offset so it’ll obstruct less of the swings.
the slash on running attacks makes no sense and is terrible. i wish they kept the running poke for most of the spears, instead of the awkward side slash being the default
@@adamwatson1960 you could've picked any other class of weapon and made your point but swords do not all have the same moveset. Some thrusting, slash or pierce
@@illmatticx spears can thrust/pierce and slam (basically just slash but with a blunt object ) while also being able to attack behind shields and have a long reach, but also have downsides just like any other weapon
