    This was just a dream, I mean when you realised about your past, it was in this life but in the past, and now you got a new life with Vipassana and this is the biggest gift from it. Thank you for sharing about your experiences, it was mind-blowing and i have done 10day Courses but your experience was superb. Thanks for sharing 😊 🙏 Thank you 🙏

    People always come out of these retreats and say exactly the same things. They’re just caught in a new trap.
    It gives them some relief but it wears off and they go onto the next thing. Then the next thing. And so on until it’s seen there are no answers and slowly they start to relax hopefully.

      Meditation it something you need to do constantly like physical conditioning if you just do it for a few weeks you wont see any result in your life or health the same with this and everything, going and meditate for 10 days and hope you are are gonna be happy after it jajaj and overcome all past traumas, pain and be the perfect human perfectly happy jaja its just an ilusión like everything consistency will show greater results in your emotional and mental well being

    • @newearthpouya
      @newearthpouya  4 года назад +3

      yes -
      1.DCA - Write a description of who you you imagine to be like - specific details of how you want to be and what you want to have, and read it out loud every day or once a week at least here is a private video i made on this share.vidyard.com/watch/FA2Xh22FZgikCaMchFUHnB
      2. Fast - Discipline your mind by imposing hard disciplines, take away your food for a day to regain power
      3. Be celibate- abstain from sex masterbation and transmute yoursexuality - this gives you great self discipline - read the book The bliss of the celibate
      4. Silence days - Take a full day for silence, don't speak to any one - communicate to your family that you want to deepen your connection with God and dedicate a full day to meditation and prayer and reading holy books
      5. Prayer each day to develop in the 10 perfections.
      The 10 perfections - are the qualities we need to get to god - one of the main ones is the quality of RENUNCIATION - which is a powerful awareness.
      TO be able to meditate you must develop in renunciation, to renounce the pleasures of relationships and conversions - and sit in the boredom of silence, until the boredom dissolves into something else -
      ONce you go deep into your solitude and practice renunciation, you discover a new joy and peace and contentment taking over you that becomes easier and easier to renounce.
      Thats what Mahatma Ghandhi discovered and made him summarize his entire teaching in 3 words "Renounce and enjoy"
      6. Set a timer using insight timer -I usually set a timer and also use goenka's chant (dhamma.org app from app store) Combination of timer and goenkas voice, gives me a the intention to not touch the timer or stop until the chant starts.
      7. Have set times and non negotiable min sits per day - I have a discipline of sitting at least 2 times per day - minimum - most days I sit 3 times and once a week i take a full silence day where i sit 5-6 times, but set a min and then use a tracker to track your progress.
      8. Track your daily sits. I have a simple sheet which i created in word and enables me to count how many days I have been meditating, what time iw ork up and what time i ate and slept and how many sits did I do and for low long.
      Tracking it on paper - i find is better than any apps, cause its the ONLY paper I keep on my desk to keep me focused.
      Hope this helps

    A question Pouya, how do you cope when another male of similar age enters a room/ environment/ ppl you're familiar with and blows you away when he draws everyone in, girls flirt, they get praise/ attention which you never experienced even when trying. I'd like your insight.

    • @newearthpouya
      @newearthpouya  6 лет назад +3

      hey David - I remember that happening to me when I was in high school and it was making me feel insecure - now I think because I have much more confidence in who / what I am It doesn't affect me so I either become friends with the guy naturally or I simply watch him be who he is. The fact is just because people give him attention it does means I suck - it just means at the moment he gets more attention than me at the moment - on the other hand, don't be fooled by thinking just because he is getting the attention he is any happier than you -back in my party days (many years ago) I used to get a lot of attention in parties and my other friend would chill in background but then he was the one many times to sleep with the girls and I would be the one lost in the conversions and get nothing - so it does mean anything -
      Another thing I learned how to manage my energy going out / being around friends, i normally don't go out unless i feel amazing and only to environments that I like - because I wake up early and I'm a morning person If i were to go out at night I would get less attention than if i go to a coffee shop after my workout because thats my lifestyle now and it is so much easier to connect to people and have a good conversion than at night in a loud environment.
      What I sense is that this person is showing you the patterns of envy and jealousy in you - which we all have - I have that too and I find prayers and intentional speaking out to let go of jealousy and replace that with love and compassion and gratitude for others happiness helps so much to raise my frequency - I have a friend who has alot of money and makes me feel jealous at times, I try to keep him in my mind and send him love and pray for his well being and happiness - this way it keeps my mind from the negative emotions of jealousy.

      @@newearthpouya Wow that was very deep, i appreciate every word of experience from you! Mine came from a work situation, so cannot bob n weave like in a party crowd, yet still as a grown adult i get triggered by this and feel inferior/ less appealing. We all want a connection, be embraced or feel wanted even on a non romantic level but i find this incredibly challenging. When i see this occurring i feel injustice like i am more deserving as i workout, dress well, make an effort, meditate myself into a better person than that other guy getting it all. I think you've made a positive difference to my day with your input and i am very thankful. It's a fascinating topic which i am always open to discuss more. God bless P!

      @@David-yn5bs Yes bro I know what you mean - That thing in us that wants to be liked by others and be noticed is our ego. It is the needy little child that wants people to give him attention, but what we are is total power and free from the need from getting happiness from the outside.
      So one suggestion would be that next time you find yourself in that situation - become aware of the part of you that is needy and is feeling jealousy - dont try to get rid of it, just become aware "oh wow I see that my ego wants the attention and is feeling small" let that part of you shrink and feel small - then what you notice a new level of joy arises -
      You may find the book "The New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle very valuable because he goes into all those aspects of the ego- which as I type I'm inspired to re-read it again :) take care David! :)

    Hai, I am bit confused due to one of the advices of the teacher...bare with my english and Please take some time and Guide me .....It will be soo much helpful to me....Myself i practice vipassana and anapana meditation... Everyday i am practicing 4 ,5 hours for about 8 months now....before also i practiced but not this consistent
    Involuntary Movements(twisting,turning,trembling, stretching) while meditating...
    which advice should i follow in below two?
    1.) Do I just need to allow(simply not resisting) the movements to happen and just watch my breath or sensations(whatever happens automatically will happen i just watch the sensations of my body as it is thats all). for example, even if my head is looking upside or my body is twisting to stretch my back then also all my focus should be on my breath or else sensations of my body. Allowing all movements without any resistance(not centering my body to ideal(normal) sitting position) and simply looking forward for the sensations which cause that movements in my body and understanding its impermanance. Sometimes I start my meditation session sitting and finish my session lying down on the floor, i just leave my body to whatever heck it does automatically and simply witnessing the sensations of my body.
    or
    2.) If my head rotates to left then i just have to center it to ideal(normal) position; If my back falls down to the surface(nose touching the ground) then i have to sit back straight and then watch my breath or sensations(but this process of centering it to ideal position again and again and again is a total frustration for me, because sometimes it happens every 1 second and while trembling it was just a split second ,how do I center my head to ideal position? ..... I not found my teacher yet, but one of the random teacher i asked in local center advised me this....hard to find good teachers here.... confused due to those teachers here. They don't even talked more and clarify me, they said to me i set my mind to do this all and they said in meditation there is only stillness. I said I worked hard for a year , they said you mixed kundalini and Vipassana. but I dont even practiced kundalini, i just said in youtube i saw a video about involuntary movements there they practiced kundalini ... and also I asked to them while watching the body we focus on the chakras also for few moments right?... They said now we are busy call back after 3 days. Wtf..... It's been 15 days I got no clarity with them. They said start meditation after few days.
    Myself I am just following the first advice. Am I going in the right path?...
