Hi Alison, Thank you for your insight. I am 60 next month and I am a collector of tarot but, my gift to myself for my 60th birthday, will be the bee tarot and also to !earn to read as well as collect them xx I would really appreciate a learn to do tarot video x
Oh my goodness, a very happy 60th birthday for next month! I think the Bee Tarot will be an absolutely perfect gift to treat yourself to. I am definitely planning more tarot content in the future xxx
Hello Alison .. I enjoyed seeing your decks.. I have most of them.. The forest of Enchantment is a favourite. Im a 50 something witch from Norfolk in the UK. I subscribed ❤🌼
Hi there! Thank you so much, I’m really glad you liked my choices! It was very hard to narrow them down! Thank you so much for subscribing, it’s so nice to have you here ☺️xx
Thank you for sharing your deck collection with us. Like you, I am very drawn to bees. This is something I’ve felt more strongly over the years, and I’m very interested in exploring my relationship with the bee spirit further. I have a birthday coming up at the end of May, and am definitely interested in that Bee Tarot. I only have two tarot decks, a traditional RWS and Tarot of Pagan Cats. I enjoy both very much. I also use the Druid Animal Oracle and the Limnal Spirits Oracle. Both work well for me.
You are so welcome, I'm really glad you enjoyed my recommendations! The Bee tarot is wonderful and it would be lovely as a birthday treat. And you just can't go wrong with a RW deck - I'm willing to bet that we have all got one in our collection! I have seen the Pagan Cats deck and am considering buying it, so thank you for giving me a nudge. And I hope you have a really special birthday when it comes! (PS mine is is early June - so happy birthday from a fellow Gemini! xxx
All your decks are lovely and very you. I haven’t used any of the decks you have - I have just starting learning. I am using the Witches Wisdom Tarot which I love although it feels more like an oracle deck. The Bee Tarot looks amazing - I would love to hear more from you re Tarot. X
I really hope you are enjoying your tarot journey! Thank you for the recommendation for the Witches’ Wisdom - that’s not in my collection but I’m sure I could find room for it! Thank you so much for watching ♥️
Hello! I really enjoy all of your videos, you have such a cozy vibe! They really make me feel at home and relaxed, so thank you very much for all of your work! I really love your tarot and oracle collection and it will be wonderful if in the future you will do more videos about the topic. One of my favourite tarot deck is "The tarot of the hidden realm", but I only use it rarely because it's very straight forward and sometimes I need a more gentle approach. But it's such a rich and meaningful deck, the guidebook is amazing and profound. ❤
That’s so lovely to hear, thank you for such kind words! I am absolutely planning more tarot videos in the future which I hope you will find useful. I understand about needing a gentler approach sometimes. Everyday Witch definitely gives that. Some are absolutely brutal - I once had a deck called Deviant Moon which was amazing but very strange and I just couldn’t work with it because it was far too honest! 😆 Thank you so much for watching xx
Hi Alison. These are all beautiful decks, thank you for showing. I would love to see more of the Bee Tarot, and listen to anything you'd like to share about Tarot. Blessings. ❤
Hi sweetie, I am so glad you like my recommendations! I will definitely be talking more about the Bee tarot at some point, in fact I never shut up about it! Many blessings to you too xxx
Hi Allison thank you for sharing your lovely Decks. I was blown away by the Bee Deck i cannot put into words how i felt other than to say i couldnt breath...wow i have added that to my favourites and wish list i am just in awe of everything about it so thank you again for sharing that and your other beautiful decks.
Hi my love, I understand exactly what you mean. The Bee Tarot is truly wonderful. My hands were actually shaking when I opened it. The imagery is so powerful and intense, like nothing I have seen before. I really hope it finds its way to you soon because I am sure you will love it as much as I do. Thank you so much for watching, I do so appreciate it xxx
Hello Alison, great video thanks you for taking the time to show us. I have the green witch oracle and the woodland wardens oracle. The artwork in both decks appeals to me. Both have very soothing energies. These are the decks I turn to daily. Another deck I adore is the Solitary Witch by Lucy Cavendish that's a daily for me also. Plus her Celtic Blessings deck every evening. Another one of mine which resonates is The Witches Oracle by Sally Morningstar this too is wonderful. I do have Tarot but mostly Oracle decks. I would love the Bee Tarot Deck. A video about the use of Tarot would be greatly appreciated. Have a beautiful day. Blessed Be. 💛
I’m so glad you enjoyed my video! Thank you for sharing your favourites with us. I love the sound of the Solitary Witch. It’s my birthday in June and my wish list is growing longer by the hour! Have a really happy week whatever you are doing ☺️xxx
Loved this! Great selection. My favourite oracle decks are herbal astrology & keepers of the light. Favourite tarot is tarot of the witch’s garden. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday ☺️✨✨
Ooh they sound really interesting!! I love the sound of the Herbal Astrology deck. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you have a lovely Sunday evening too ☺️xx
Hi Alison, it’s lovely to see you again 💖 Thank you for sharing your favorite tarot decks and oracles. I do have Everyday Witch. I love how the illustrations easily speaks what is taking place in each card. I love the Goddess Dream Oracle. It sits on my table along with Goddess Love Oracle. My favorite cards from Goddess Dream at the moment are 4.Balance 10. Direction 21. Letting Go. I love a lot of decks. One particular tarot and oracle decks I love are The Star Seeker Tarot and The Star Seeker Oracle. I love it because the images on each card transports me to the magical realm. I can feel being in the cards. The places are so magical and otherworldly for me 💜✨💖 🔑 🦋🪄

The Everyday Witch was my first and beloved deck. The Forest of Enchantment was my second and as a novice I was completely confused by it but still love it. It’s an addiction though 🙈
I can understand your bafflement because I felt like that too! For me the trick was to try to let go of the traditional symbolism and just go with my gut. And yes it is absolutely an addiction! Thank you so much for watching ♥️
Love your decks. I have the Woodland wardens. Which i think is great. Each card sounds like the title of a book. Love the look of your Goddess deck. I may have to consider getting that. Each of my oracle decks are important at different times. I often wake and feel i need to pull a card from a deck. And that card will be SO accurate. They all have a special place in my heart.. like a good friend. Thank you for your video 💕
You are so welcome, I really enjoyed making this one! I understand what you mean about feeling drawn to a particular deck at a certain time. I think your intuition pulls you in a particular direction. So it’s a good thing we have so many to choose from! Thank you so much for watching. Have a lovely evening 🌞xx
Great video 🙂I have the Wiodland Wardens ( as you know 😁),& have done some card draws for myself. I tend to draw 2 cards,& I draw when I feel I need to, if that makes sense? I’m very new to this, although I had an IJJ Swiss Tarot deck way back when- I’ve since given it to my daughter. I’ve recently treated myself to another oracle card deck , The Spirit of the Animals- they’re big, glossy cards, & are so beautiful. I haven’t finished‘exploring’ them yet! Your Bee tarot is exquisite,& is so you 🥰 I love it , I think I’ll have to add it to my wish list . Thank you . And yes please, a tarot/ oracle card video please 🥰🌸xx
Hi Karen! Oh my goodness I had an IJJ Swiss deck years ago - proper old school it was, with the really graphic depictions! I loved it but was also slightly terrified of it! 😆xx
Such pretty decks! I love how we are all particular about our decks/their feel/their art in our own ways :) I've actually never seen a RWS deck that I really wanted to own before seeing this Radiant edition 👀 really love the tin as well...may have to get it
We definitely take our decks very seriously don’t we? I felt exactly the same way about the RWS until I saw this version! The colours are so beautiful and the tin is just the perfect size for carrying around. I hope you love it when you buy it, which I’m sure you will ☺️
Hi Alison 👋 I just want you to know that after I watched this video. I bought a Woodland & Wardens Oracle deck. It should be here in about a week. I can't wait! I was drawn to the cards as soon as I saw them in your hand 👌❤ thank you
I agree with you about the Bee Tarot being a work of art. If I waited for soneone to buy me a deck I wouldnt have any! I believe you should buy the ones you are drawn to.I love the Art Noveau Tarot, The Witches Wisdom Tarot. I also love Into the Lonely Woods and The Lantern Oracle. 😊❤
Hi Alison❤ Thank you so much for sharing your decks. They are absolutely gorgeous. I have the Witches Tarot and just recently purchased the Tarot of the Witch's Garden. I am still learning my decks and I would love for you to share a how to video.
Hi Diane! It’s so lovely to hear from you, and I’m so glad you enjoyed my video. Ooh I have never seen the Witches’ Garden one but it sounds right up my alley! Thank you for the tip 🥰 I am definitely planning a tarot video at some point too xx
I thoroughly enjoyed this video, I very much enjoy your warm and welcoming vibe and your cards are beautiful. I'm rubbish at this commenting lark, but just wanted you to know how much your vides are appreciated (from another 50 something witch in ne england) x
I don't know how The Everyday Witch has passed me by! I'm on it now. Thank you, Alison, this is a gorgeous and super helpful video. You're so inspiring! xo
I really enjoyed seeing your favorite tarot decks. I have the Woodland Wardens deck and absolutely love it! Have you seen the Soul Cats deck? It's a fun one to have if you like cats. I got my first deck when I was 14, it was called the Mythic Tarot. I'll be 50 this year and wish I still had it, they no longer make the original version. I'll have to check out the Green Witch's Oracle and the Goddess Dream Oracle decks. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my goodness!! I had the Mythic Tarot in my early twenties!! I have absolutely no idea where it went but I have often said that I wish I still had it! Like you, I’ve seen the newer version but no, it’s just not the same. Mine came with a black cloth with a Celtic Cross spread printed on it which I thought was absolutely brilliant! If I remember rightly, my Mum actually got it for me when she joined one of those book clubs that were all the rage in those days - when you first joined you could choose 10 books for like 50p each - and she got me the Mythic Tarot! Oh how I loved that deck. I haven’t seen Soul Cats but thank you so much for the tip, I will look out for that one! Thank you so much for watching ♥️xxx
The artist of the Soul Cats Tarot is Adam Oehlers. His artwork is stunning and he is also the artist for the Three Trees Tarot collection of decks, Oak, Ash and Thorn, and Smoke, Ash and Embers and the Oracles Thistledown and the new Heartwood. Stephenie Burrows is the creator. If you haven’t seen these decks, they are gorgeous. ❤
@@fifty-somethingwitch2406 Yes, I remember the black cloth that came with Mythic Tarot. I had my deck until a few years ago, it got lost during a move.
Thank you so much Sara, I really appreciate that you are here! I am definitely up for talking more about Tarot and it is on my list of planned videos. Sending you much love x
Hi Alison, thank you for sharing your wonderful card decks, I have several Oracle card decks I have collected over the years. Some I still refer to depending upon my query and what I'm drawn to but others I no longer use as I feel I have evolved from my need of them, if that makes sense. My absolute favourite is the Faery Forest by Lucy Cavendish. They have been very accurate and so personal, they really do feel like a trusted friend
Hi Tracey, thank you so much for watching and you are very welcome. I completely understand about moving on from particular decks. Last year I moved over 20 decks onto new owners because I was just getting absolutely nothing from them anymore. It’s almost like the end of a relationship with a living being - it runs its course and you call it a day. But some decks stay with you forever. It’s so interesting. Tarot is absolutely amazing! ♥️
Hi Alison, I have the Everyday Witch Tarot and I agree, it is a beautiful, whimsical deck. I love the Bee Tarot. I will definitely be putting that on my to buy list. All the decks were lovely but I have about 45 tarot and oracle decks so I need to cull a few before I go and buy more. I also loved the Woodland Wardens and the Green Witch’s Oracle. My favourite Tarot decks at the moment are the Light Seeker Tarot, the Wandering Star Tarot and the Witches’ Wisdom Tarot, which is very new to me. The major arcana is actually in reverse where the first card is the World. It was created from hundreds of shamanic journeys by the creator and illustrator and I must say I can see how it makes sense to change the order of the Major Arcana. However I need to play with it more. Oracle decks I’m loving at the moment are The Sacred Forest Oracle by Denise Linn, Lost Oracle by Fiona Horne and Deadly Apothecary Oracle by Priestess Moon. The last one deals a lot with our shadow side and I love using it for that. So, what can I cull so I can justify getting the Bee Tarot. 🤔😊
Well I absolutely think you should get the Bee Tarot, no question!! You have a wonderful collection with some titles that I'm very interested in. I love the idea of reversing the Major Arcana, thinking about it, it actually makes sense. My husband has bought me The Urban Crow Oracle for a Samhain gift - I'm so excited to open it, I think I will do it this weekend. Do let me know when you get the Bee deck! x
@@fifty-somethingwitch2406 will do. I’d be interested in seeing your new deck once you’ve had some time with it. Have a wonderful Samhain celebrations ☺️
Beautiful choices …. I’ve always been drawn more to Oracle Decks than Tarot. With that said, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a significant collection 😉…. My favorite Oracle deck …and I say that only because it is the one I keep going back to over time is the Energy Oracle Cards by Sandra Anne Taylor …I also enjoy the Archangel Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue and Moonology Oracle Cards by Yasmin Borland. I’ve been collecting both Tarot and Oracle cards for over 20 years so it is hard to pick favorites. I very much enjoy the The Green Witch books and I’m thinking the Oracle cards will be a new addition in the near future 😊
I'm really glad you enjoyed my choices and I understand what you mean - these days I'm definitely more drawn to oracle too. The Green Witch Oracle is beautiful, I think you would love it x
I ordered Woodland Wardens just now. I have wanted this deck for a long time! The Bee Tarot as well…I’ve never seen that one before….next month for ordering that. A deck that I adore is The Dragon Fae..Doreen Virtue was the original author. Lucy Cavanaugh is the new artist and author of this deck…they are absolutely gorgeous (Doreen abandoned the craft). Thank you for sharing Allison. Blessed be❤️
You will not regret buying the Woodland Wardens! They are absolutely magnificent. Such a nurturing energy. I never had any of Doreen’s work. She was always hedging her bets I think, and I never really trusted her so when she did a complete 180 I wasn’t surprised. The Bee Tarot is so stunning that I have to brace myself when I open it…it’s just so dazzling. I’m glad you enjoyed my recommendations and thank you for yours! xx
@@fifty-somethingwitch2406 Also…I see now why her deck came in and out of my life…and the sadness I felt each time they were lost! This is my 3rd deck and the present one is under new ownership..Lucy bought the rights from Doreen. There is a definite change in energy about them this time. This explains it!
Hi! This was a wonderful video to watch. I love Everyday Witch! I have the mini deck on my wishlist. I also have Woodland Wardens, which is just amazing. I agree that the Tarot decks are just so beautiful that they are little works of art! The Forest of Enchantment is on my Wishlist too! One of my very first decks was the Radiant Waite, but at the same time I saw the Bone Fire Tarot by Gabbi Angus West, and I was hooked. I have the Schiffer Publishing version, but I think there’s a more recent edition where the card stock is not glossy and maybe cards aren’t so big. Some complain this deck is a little “too busy” but I guess that’s just me. Kind of gaudy at times. lol 😆! And because of it, I didn’t use my radiant deck quite as much, but I still have it because it is great reference, and of course I love it. Thank you for such a wonderful video. Like you, I could talk tarot, oracle, all things divination all day!!! ❤
Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I realise that tarot is such a personal thing but I love it when someone tells me that they love some of my favourite decks! Every deck is a thing of beauty and such an incredible self-discovery tool. Thank you so much for watching ♥️
Hi Alison, slowly making my way through some of your older videos and i really enjoyed this video. I have been exploring tarot cautiously but its always been something very intriguing to me. My mum used to lay the cards im her teens and early 20s. She learnt from her grandmother who was from Belgium who used to do it with an ordinary set of playing cards. By all accounts my mum was very accurate and gifted but unfortunately had a very negative experience, burnt the cards, and never laid them again. I've always felt sad about this as its something I would have loved to have learnt from her. I will continue to research and learn, there are some very good videoson you tube but I would love one from you if you have time, appreciate it's a big undertaking to go through every card!
That’s an amazing story - my first experience of having my cards read was by my friend’s Mum who also used a standard deck of playing cards and she was RIDICULOUSLY accurate. I was 18 at the time and convinced I was in a relationship with the love of my life but she told me I hadn’t met him yet and his name was going to start with M…and seven years later I met Mark, who I’ve been with for 29 years now! She was scarily accurate but I think she was highly psychic which is saying something as it’s not something I have much faith in. But tarot is a fascinating tool and definitely something I’d like to cover in more depth. It’s highly personal though and everyone approaches it differently and uses it in different ways. But watch this space! 🥰
I agree you shouldn't wait for someone to buy you your first deck. I didn't have anyone who would have been able to that so bought my own! I started with the same Radiant Rider Waite set as you but didn't get on with them at all. I was really disappointed. I then got the Herb Crafters tarot which is a much gentler deck and I like it a lot as it uses herbalism which is my thing. But then I got the Crow Tarot and they are my absolute favourite. Turns out that crows are my spirit animal and this deck absolutely speaks to me and guides me. I do a full crow spread a few times a year but pull a card weekly to guide me 🙂
Absolutely! There are so many beautiful decks to discover and you could be waiting forever for someone to buy you one! I’m so glad your journey took you to the Crow Tarot - it is a wonderful deck with great depth. There’s the Urban Crow version too which I am very tempted by!! 🐦⬛🐦⬛
Really enjoyed this . Thank you Alison ! Might you consider doing a review / flip through of the Bee Tarot at some point , once you have used the deck ? xx
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I’d be happy to do a proper review/flip through of the Bee tarot at some point! It really is beautiful. I’ve still got the Death card from the deck on my altar, I can’t bear to put it away! xx
I love your Tarot decks they are beautiful. I have Anne Stokes Oracle deck the artwork is so beautiful and the cards are shiny. 🥰 I would love for you to do a video on Tarot in detail. Thank you so much. ❤
That’s so lovely, thank you so much. As we speak I am waiting for my new Seasons of the Witch Lammas Oracle to arrive and I’m so excited! We will absolutely do a little Tarot series in the future if you’d like me to ♥️
My advice would be to take your time. Wait until you come across a deck that really speaks to you. When you do, spend time just getting to know each card - think about what you can see happening in the image. Look beyond the foreground- there is usually much more going on in the background! Who is in the picture? What are they doing? What is the energy of the card like? How does it make you feel? You can learn about the individual suits in books, or online - but again, I feel that intuition is your best friend when it comes to tarot. Most of all, have fun! Tarot is an amazing tool that I think you will love ☺️
Late to watching this video. Thank you for sharing your collection, I love my decks & will continue to collect more. The bee tarot deck just made it onto my wish list, just beautiful. My favourite (or go to) deck is the light seer’s tarot, I didn’t think it would be when I first got it, but I just seem to connect well with the cards.
You’re very welcome Heidi. I’ve seen the Light Seer’s deck before but I don’t own it. It’s strange how some decks just seem to talk to you, isn’t it? You will love the Bee deck - it is so beautiful, and so special. It makes me smile just thinking about it ☺️
Yes I have heard about the tradition of being presented with deck. In my opinion the deck has to resonate with you (as you just said) and your energy. Using Tarot somebody picked for you is like using somebody else's glasses. ;)

Beautiful cards! I have the RWS Radiant deck and I love it! My favorite! I am also enjoying the Light Seers Deck. Thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome! I do love the RW Radiant deck! ♥️
I bought The Glastonbury Tarot about 20 years ago and I still love it. It's so cosy!
Oh wow, I've never seen that one! I would love to have a look at it!
I don't know how The Everyday Witch has passed me by! I'm on it now. Thank you, Alison, this is a gorgeous and super helpful video. You're so inspiring! xo
@@ifoundafox it’s a beautiful deck and I am sure you will love it! 🥰
@@ange5673 oh thank you so much for this information! xx
@@fifty-somethingwitch2406 Yes, I remember the black cloth that came with Mythic Tarot. I had my deck until a few years ago, it got lost during a move.
@@ange5673 Yes, I'm familiar with Oehler's work, I have the Oak, Ash, and Thorn deck. 🙂
I absolutely love the Crow Tarot! I might have to look for a new set
It’s really beautiful Helene! You should treat yourself for sure! ☺️xx
I really appreciate your videos. I am learning tarot and would love to see you talk about it.
Okay, now I _will_ have to look into The Bee Tarot!
I have and love The Woodland Wardens and The Forest of Enchantment.
Oh yes you will, and you won't regret it! xx
@@fifty-somethingwitch2406 Yes I'm very tempted by the Urban Crow deck!! 😉
@aliliveswellonless please let me know if you buy it! ♥️
We will absolutely do a little Tarot series in the future if you’d like me to ♥️
@@fifty-somethingwitch2406 I would be excited too and yes I would love for you to do that. 🥰❤
Love the decks I would love to learn to read can you recommend how to start thankyou
@@fifty-somethingwitch2406 Thank you
They are very nice decks. Do you practise tarot spells ?
Thank you, I’m glad you like them!
I use them for single card draws, three card and ten card readings and I use them for journaling prompts x
Using Tarot somebody picked for you is like using somebody else's glasses. ;)
That’s a brilliant analogy. There are so many beautiful decks to be discovered and life is too short! ❤️
