What do you think about Rough Rider?
One name that's missing here is Klanghelm - I use their free MJUC Jr. and IVGI all the time. Pitch Drift from the Baby Audio free bundle is something I also use all the time. I love it on sampled percussion loops, programmed hi-hat tracks, snare samples or sample-based acoustic instrument plugins. It can really give these tracks a subtle organic movement and life inside a mix.
Great picks. I have all of these and love them all. The TDR Nova and the Warmy EP1A especially get a lot of use on my tracks. Here are some others I like:
Voxengo Span - (loudness meter, frequency analyzer, correlation meter, etc)
Kit Burier - saturation plugin
Tokyo Dawn Labs TDR Koltenikov - really clean compressor

Good list. I had several already, but the Little Plate reverb was a jewel. I was using Valhalla Vintage Reverb for that sound on a track, but that plugin has a lot of settings. I was able to dial in an equally good plate sound with this one with way less settings/confusion. I have a feeling it will be used a lot, especially as a guitar amp type reverb.
Thanks for Letting us know of some of those plugins. Wanted to try the sound toys one. I have a Valhalla plugin but not those you mentioned. I’ve been using Nova a while, that’s a good one too.

Highly recommend Nova. Mine has an analyzer which for some reason isn't on yours. Where it really shines is using it in sidechain mode. I'll often sidechain things like guitars to my vocal to duck them out of the 2k range when the vocal comes in. Extremely powerful tool, especially for free. I have no issues with lag either.
Maybe it’s just my system, but when clicking and dragging the knobs it was really slowly to move through the parameters 🤷♂️ either way, it’s a good EQ for what it does!
In order to show the analyzer, you have to hit "In" at the upper right corner. His was set to "off."
I got it to, a great plug-in to use for some multi compression!

I recently found your channel and it has become my new favorite. You’re a really awesome teacher! Would you ever consider doing a video demonstrating how you set your gain for tracks? Do you have a spot you aim for your tracks and buses to hit and things like that. I noticed that you mix in post fader vs pre fader and would just be really helpful to see that part of your system. I think Toneboosters plugins are still free. I’ve used them quite a bit on mixes and they sound great. I really like ReelBus and Barricade a lot.

I think your valhalla supermassive is outdated. Update version has more modes. :) also softube saturation has now gain meters.
Most likely! I have had them for a long time! I’m still on Catalina too 😂
