I agree with everything.By shaving peaks on individual tracks, aux buses and on master channel we can gain lots of DB's of headroom so the final limiter doesn't need to do all the heavy lifting. We can get -6Db LUFS long-term on rock song easily without any pumping and transients are still preserved.
Awesome video! Will definitely be checking this thing out. I currently am using TRacks Clipper and love that thing. I want to comment on the guitars, they sound so good! really big sound. Would love a breakdown on them as I struggle with them in this genre. Nice job!
Some of it is meant to be transparent in that you don’t hear a significant change but rather you are control and chopping off peaks, so you can ultimately make Your mix louder without having to to work the final mastering limiter as hard. You can hear what the clipper is doing when you slam it, get really crunchy!
Grab a copy of Nova Clip using my link in the description!

Thanks man! For sure! I’ll have to look at what I’ve done on these guitars to remind myself!

Hey are there going to be any black friday deals on your sample packs?
Hey man! I’m not sure yet! Still thinking about it, but if you join the mailing list you’ll find out if I do!
Cool, just joined!@@spinlightstudios
Hm, I honestly have a hard time hearing any significant difference in general. Not an expert though...
