Best Snorkeling in the World? | Pigeon Island Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 | [ENG] SUB

Hello there. Welcome you all to my new video. Today, I'm going to give you a day in Pigeon Island National Park Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. This island is located in Trincomalee. To be precise, it's about 1 KM off the beautiful Nilaveli beach in Trincomalee. This is one of the best areas in the Indian Ocean to witness some sea animals such as jellyfish, sharks, sea turtles, and many more species at once. This can be also describe as one of the best snorkeling sites in the world.Also, the ecosystem around here is amazing. Currently, the Sri Lankan authorities are taking measures to protect this amazing coral reef from further damage as it was hit by a massive tsunami that happened in 2004.
Nevertheless, this island has so much to offer. The clean beach has an office from the Wild Life department of Sri Lanka in case you need help. This island consists of two beaches; one is suitable for swimming, while another is for scuba diving and snorkeling. So, you can make your choice.
If you want to visit here, please don't bring any plastic because these coral reefs have been here for at least a thousand years, and we should preserve them for the future. Also, you can take a boat and tickets with all the equipment from Nilaveli beach. In addition to that, you can get a guide which is a bit costly. However, you can find guides on the island who came with others, and we can get a good deal there.
