This summer we took our 4 foster kids to the island of Sri Lanka self driving 2 tuktuks! An adventure that would lead us to seeing loads of animals, visiting gorgeous temples, driving through tea plantations, snorkeling in search of sea turtles, eating great food, witnessing the most amazing festival... and above all meeting a lot of amazing people. We paid 250 dollars for six people. Now, this was smack in the middle of the fuel-crisis, so prices where higher then normal. Have on your trip, its going to be amazing!

We loved oceanside condos! Our favorite accomodation of our whole trip (also a little more expensive then the others). We met the guide on the beach and got a reference from an other traveling family. No contacts but we payed 170 dollars. Hello, We swam with sea turtles at pigeon island in Nilaveli... you can also have incounters with these awesome creatures in Hikkaduwa or Mirissa.
