As a wheelchair user myself, I can appreciate what a fantastic charity this is. Fantastic people, restores your faith in human nature , well done guys 😂
Nick, probably one of the most satisfying episodes yet. These folks are doing great things.
Absolutely they are!
Love the big super yachts on your channel, but this video shows what boating is all about, getting out on the water! Will be making a donation, big thanks to all the volunteers!
AWESOME! Thank you. 🙂
Adam I was typing the same thing when your comment was on top they are amazing people well done Nick fantastic video
Great exposure for MV Freedom on the world's best yachting and boating channel. They will definitely need all the six skippers now!
Beautiful testament to the adage “it’s better to give them to receive”. These people give their time and energy such that disabled people can enjoy the open sea. Everybody is blessed and that’s just a beautiful thing. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
This must mean so much to anyone who is handicapped. It must be a glorious feeling to be out on the water. Kudos to these people who give of their time (and money) to add joy to lives of folks who wouldn't otherwise get this opportunity.
The sailing program I used to work at ran an adaptive sailboat for a while (Freedom 20). Great cause and thank you for bringing this to us and raising awareness!
edit: I just looked them up and they still do it!!
As a disabled person myself this is a fantastic charity that allows everyone both able and disabled to enjoy the boating at a relatively affordable price thanks to the "friends of MV Freedom" and it's donations. It is a nice part of "meet the owners" that is not as most of this part of boating we normally see, but just as important. 'The joy of life afloat' just about sums it up for us all to enjoy, and 'if you are floating you are boating', two of your better known sayings, nick.
Nick, these two gentleman are so sweet and compassionate and understanding. This is truly an amazing gesture to do something like this. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great to see that boating is not just for the rich and powerful. This is a great video showing a wonderful organization.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
What a brilliant charity. Well worth supporting, and I hope that others around our beautiful coastline follow suit.
Brilliant boat! My son-in-law is a wheelchair bound stroke victim I've always had to leave behind on fishing/whalewatching trips. Thank you for sharing!
You're very welcome!
That’s the great thing about the boating community, liquorice allsorts, well done Nick for reminding us.
Wonderful! I've been watching your channel for years, and as a Norwegian wheelchair user, it's good to see that even Britain has adapted boats! I was raised in a family, where boating and life at sea has been a vital part of life for generations. My grandfather was hunting whales, my father made his money fishing offshore during his teens, and now my brother is working with moving oil installations. So when I was born, my father quickly bought a boat that I could drive my chair into. Today we have a Pioner Multi and it goes like a bullet, even with me and my 200 kg wheelchair on board. So the sea, at least in my experience, doesn't discriminate. Like, all humans wanting to travel at sea need a device, or an aid, we call it boats. It doesn't matter if you can walk or not, you still need a boat.
I apologize, again, for my late comment, but Sir Nick, you've outdone yourself, again. I've been following for many years and once again you've brought us something completely new and exciting. Most importantly, you've brought us into the realm of Charity. Sir Nick, the work that you do, and share with us, is just astonishing. Thank you, Sir.
This is fantastic. I'm only partially disabled, requiring a walking stick to get around. To be able to be in a wheelchair and going boating is just brilliant. Massive round of applause to all the volunteers. This video actual touched me, thank you Nick for showing us this boat and charity. I will be making a donation to them
That's so kind, thank you!! 😃
Absolutely brilliant to see such great people volunteer their expertise and time for a fantastic Charity. Well done to you all.
Thank you, Nick, this was without doubt one of your best.
It brought a tear to my eyes as my fathers love of sailing was halted by a virus which paralysed him. But for a friend who owned a Parini Navi he would never have been able to go on the water again. We are most fortunate in our abilities. But for him I would not have that which I do. I have just made a donation and would encourage others who as when we look out to sea and enjoy it remember those who cannot do so.
So many thanks again.
That's brilliant, thank you very much indeed! 🙂
It is just wonderful that someone came up with this concept and people volonteer to make this happen. i absolutly love this. I hope they get plenty of donations to help fund this endevor. It made me smile. Its nice to see they are making it available for people with disabilities. Wonderful tour Nick. Keep up the great work.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
This is such a wonderful idea that everyone should get behind. Thanks Nick for letting people know about it. Those guys are fantastic. Great video. 🇦🇺 😊

Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
What a splendid idea, access to day cruises for people with disabilities. Wishing happy sailing for all this season!
Great video Nick
Thank you!
A charitable initiative is pure humanity. The joy of giving is the privilege of few.
Thank you, dear Nick.
I believe that sharing is probably the core of your idea with the channel.
Very much so 🙂
This really made my day! What a wonderful charity. Warmed my heart, thank you for sharing Nick!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
What an amazing calling this charity is doing! Thank you for sharing this important work, Nick!
Absolutely brilliant. Well done Nick, and especially well done to all of those guys who make it happen. Touched by this, very much so.
That's great, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Brilliant!
One of your best videos.
Heartwarming Friday viewing on a very grey and windy day. Thank you.
Awesome, thanks!
What a great opportunity to chat with these great people helping other find the joy of being on the water. Thank you for the wonderful tour.
Terrific boat. Fantastic idea. Nice big loo. Plenty of room. Excellent.
Wow! As a person living with disability, I found this one hit particularly close to home. My affection and admiration for all things british continue to grow.
What a lovely pair of gentlemen. Passion about the work shines out. Thanks for brining that to attention. I will be donating to help out. Excellent charity that obviously actually does the work it states without a CEO creaming off the top like so many sadly. Thanks Nick.
Thank you very much indeed, it's really appreciated! 🙂
Fantastic video Nick. Thanks so much for doing this.
My family had a trip on the MV Freedom in 2022, with my wheelchair-bound father. It was the last “trip” I had with him before he passed away.
He was a Portland boy - and to be able to tour Portland harbour and marina was so special, and the first time in 70 years that he had seen the island from the water.
Such a special couple of hours - these guys are brilliant.
That is awesome!
What a great interview - quite possibly one of the best! Years ago now we eventually managed to find a canal boat which had been converted for wheelchair access, so that our friend Keith could join us, and we had just he most amazing week. There are not enough boats like this, or the people willing to run them, so all credit to the crews of MV Freedom. Thank you for sharing Nick. (PS Congrats on reaching 500K - well deserved with videos like this one.)
Great episode! Glad to see all can enjoy the sea! 👍👍be safe and keep rolling along MV Freedom crew! 👍👍
Absolutely brilliant, and the volunteers are so enthusiastic, well done to all
Kudos to MV Freedom, they're a very legit looking non-profit which deserves a donation. Humbling.
Wow Nick thanks for this video. This charity & the 2 skippers you interviewed are top-notch & so interesting to listen to. They certainly deserve the Queen’s Award for charity contribution & for their passion to provide a service to those in need. Hats off to you & them.🙏🇨🇦👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Well done Nick, great video as always, many thanks and blessings to MV for what they do!!!!
Much appreciated!
As a wheelchair bound person I find this fascinating. Happy to see this.
I cracked at the "three-way wave in the mirror!"😂
What excellent work these volenteers do. I absolutely love these types of videos. Keep it up, Nick!
I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Providing an opportunity for those individuals in special various needs is super awesome. Thank you for sharing and I hope that this video helps them get more people onboard and raises 💰 all the while!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Well done for bringing this terrific charity to our attention, Nick. Fantastic!
I absolutely love what these guys are doing. Thank you to them!!!
Also thank you for doing the meet the owners/skippers. I love the real stories and lives behind all the beauty
That's one of the most enjoyable episodes I've seen. What a brilliant charity and ethos. I wish them every success for the future.
I thought, for a moment, that Aquaholic moved to the Pacific NW. Different Freedom, though.
Yes I was expecting a little Nordhavn
Sure we all like looking at the posh stuff that 99.9% of us will never be able to afford, but this is very special. I seldom buy lottery tickets, but I did today.
If I win big the wonderful guys don't need to worry about the next boat, the mooring fees, the fuel, maintenance or the teabag supply!
Lovely and very heart warming vid.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Thank you for this one Nick. ❤
My pleasure!
What an awesome video !! My first thought and please no offense or disrespect, this is a true tug boat, a TUG AT YOUR HEART BOAT !! As someone who later in life developed physical limitations this really touched my heart !! LOVE the props especially the pirate hat that was my school mascot !! LOL ! Thank you Nick and please pass on my thanks to all involved !!
Will do! 🙂
What a Wonderful group. i can only imagine the joy some kids, and adults feel when finally able to enjoy going out for a trip aboard. Thank you for sharing this so we may help them, and aim those in need towards their group. These are the people that need support, when possible, so they can share the joy with so many more.
Thanks so for this Nick!!! Just makes me smile to know that the joy of boating is available to many!
Well done gentlemen. What a thoughtful and unselfish deed. Great that you gave them exposure, Nick. More people would know of them.
That's my hope, they do good work 🙂
What a noble charity. Thank you for sharing this Nick. Well done.
My pleasure!
Great video and great work by the team in the charity. Donation made 😀. Thanks Nick
Thank you SO much!!! 😃
I don't know how to adequately state how wonderful this is, so I'm just adding my comment for the algorithm.
That was just lovely , marvellous to see a bit of a different video from you Nick and very heartening to know there’s a voluntary service like this in Britain run by very kind and able people . Thankyou !
I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Beautiful people with kind hearts. God bless you Nick and the Freedom crew for all you do. This was so inspiring for me
Great to hear, thank you 🙂
A lot of "Wows" in there Nick. Great charity and well done to all those volunteers for giving of their time/efforts.
Excellent video
MV Freedom is a superyacht.
It's purpose beats them all. And it's the first yacht I've seen with an accessible washroom.
what an absolutely amazing charity. Thanks for sharing with us Nick.
My pleasure!
Love this video Nick. It is wonderful and demonstrates how we all need more compassion. Thank you to you and all those associated with the MV Freedom.
It's very much a pleasure 🙂
I've enjoyed all your videos so far. This one made me both cry and laugh with happiness. I'm living with early stage ALS, and this really touched me. I love how charitable British people seem to be. You guys rock!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
Top Job - how great to see the best of human spirit in these chaps and their team " putting the wind in peoples sails " - huge respect to all at MV Freedom - thoroughly enjoyed the vlogg thank you 🏆⭐️
What a heartwarming piece of content. Huge respect to all those involved with the charity!
What an amazing charity and group of people .
Great video, the passion for this work that the two skippers feel really comes through.
Love these types of videos. Great showing the outreach to those with disabilities.
Well done fellas! Great initiative! Great episode
Thank you 🙂
13 litres per hour is a bloody good number for a boat that size.
Thats amazingly efficient
Great job highlighting such a great charity.
Meet the skippers MV Freedom fantastic well done to that charity .
Fantastic boat and a fantastic charity Nick 👍👍
Absolutely 🙂
James Bond megayacht, the (ever contentious) Versace yacht and this, thats the three if want to show your channel to someone new. Luxury and toys are interesting, but I think the engineering that goes in to accommodate all kinds of different lifestyles and stories behind them are amazing. The props cupboard is just as cool as secret James Bond gadgets! Loved this! And these guys absolutely love every second of it too! You really get the feel that passengers and crew are living their best lives on MV Freedom, and you showed that well. One of your all time best vids!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a brilliant idea and the lovely gents are doing such a fantastic job. Fair play to them 😃
Well done Nick! Great job MV Freedom!
Great organisation, great video!
Brilliant idea. Thanks for bringing it to us Nick.
Excellent video Nick. I seem to remember Westcountry news doing a piece on it, or very similar a few years ago. It’s lovely that it is all inclusive. As you say, everyone should be able to have that opportunity to go boating / sailing and enjoy the sea and coast. Thx for sharing this with us and I’m sure the charity will get some benefits from your video. 😊👍
I do hope so 🙂
Excelent project, with the very best of people involved😀 Thank your for sharing this great initiative Nick 😊
First of JUST LOVE ALL YOU'RE TOUR'S! Been watching you. For awhile now n I enjoy the tours all the time,Really do. This one SHIP IS JUST OUTSTANDING !!!! What they do is just ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT ANYONE COULD ASK FROM ANYONE! COULD ASK FOR OUTSTANDING!!

My pleasure!
Amazing, a wonderful charity and an amazing insight! Thanks Nick!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a great idea. Should have more like it around the country.
Great video Nick, very worthwhile and interesting to see a “real purpose” other than merely entertaining oneself. Cheers Nick. 👏🏻👍👏🏻
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
What a fantasinating story, fabulous charity, what a wonderful idea. Great facilities on board toilet 🚽 and of course the kettle. Passengers are able to steer the boat, the pleasure they get from going to sea. Magical ✨ trip out for all of them.
Good job fellas
This is touching. I wish them all the best.
With having a wife with MS and two mentally handicapped foster brothers, this sounds amazing and I'll surely be looking into this.
Really lovely good hearted couple of blokes x

Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Nick a really interesting video thank you. My wife passed away last year and since I have found it very dificult, I have looked at ways in which to get me out of the house, so I am buying a little Shetland boat on The Norfolk Broads, it will be a nice hobby and a good way of meeting people.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I think that is a great idea though, and I hope it works out well for you, I'm sure it will. 🙂
