You have to show all of Houston if you do a skyline video. I was waiting for Texas Medical Center, midtown, Greenway, and uptown. Just do a 360 sweep next time. Great video though. Love to see the rest of the state.

I agree I wanted to love the video but he left out the rest off the skyline I hope NOT ON PURPOSE because that would be a shame. 10 skylines around the city and u only keep circling downtown? WoW!
@@poseidon3201 See that's the problem with these sunbelt cities, no structure. No one has the time to be traipsing all over these sprawling areas looking for patches of buildings, all over the place.

Ayy H-Town... thank the lack of zoning for the enormous spread out skyline... essentially three separate skylines in this city. But I love it!
@Nice One Lived in Chicago for 10 years. The cost of living and expolosive growth was a big factor in moving back to Texas. Not fun watching the mismanagement of affordable housing, especially for those living in the projects. I hope Chicago can figure out their issues, but people have been saying that for decades...

That's not from the lack of zoning. That's from just overall change. If you look at old pictures of the skyline before 1970, you'll see that we destroyed a lot of old buildings.
@Nice One Technically they did that because the Lincoln Yards project pledged to create 900 affordable housing units in exchange, although I have my doubts about how they are going to build "affordable" housing on a plot adjacent to those skyscrapers.

Awesome footage! Houston, Dallas, Atlanta and L.A all have the same kind of layout as far as skylines go. DT for sure then multiple other skylines because those cities are so spread out.

Nice video, and now its time for an update because Houston now has more skyline and is gaining more people by the day. My city is expeanding big time passing Chicago and other places. When you see all of Houston you realize how much bigger it actaully is compared to places like Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, San Antonio. Houston is way bigger than these places and its still growing and gaining people by the day.
Houston is NOT larger than Chicago city OR metro. And Houston DEFINITELY does not feel as big as Chicago. Those other cities, sure. It may be more spread out which actually makes it feel way smaller than Chicago. Go watch a drone video of Chicago and find out that you are tripping hard. I live in HTX too and love it but it has a long way to go to feel like that big of a city.
Also DFW metro has more ppl than HTX. Like a million more. But Houston definitely FEELS bigger than Dallas metro.
This is not true Houston is just sprawling, you hit suburbs houses pretty quickly outside the city core center just because Houston and all these sprawled cities want to extend their imgainary city boundary lines doesn't all of matter make them bigger than NYC for example lmao, I'm from Chicago and I've been to Houston no way did i feel it's bigger Chicago is way bigger
Chicago. 🤣🤣 Houston is about to get passed up by Los Angeles. Houston only has 40 skyscrapers as of 2022 and LA has 35 with way more planned and under construction. Surpassing Houston is very possible before 2030.
