People who don't spar don't understand how difficult that is to land on anyone, even the worst boxer you've seen. I don't see people throwing shots like that on mits even. It's all time great stuff.
Hopkins top 4 middleweight of all time. Greb, monzon, hagler, and hopkins. Sugar ray robinson lost the belt too many times and won all the rematch especially. Hopkins dominated the middleweight division for a decade. 20 title defenses, dominated until he was 40. The 3 guys that I had ahead of him had a little better competition. Tito trinidad was a masterpiece though at the age of 36 when trinidad was 40-0 undefeated and that unified the middleweight division for hopkins.
At 55 seconds left of the 2nd round, Hopkins expertly caught Lipsey’s left hand bomb and shot a right handed missile seeker that found the target and the announcer gave credit to lipsey 😆
This actually happened in the 4th round. Hopkins lands a power jab right in the mouth 👄 the Lipsey throws a left hand bomb that lands on the chest. Lipsey get’s credit. Later he remarks about his solid chin and 💥 KO fights ovah 😝 pretty sure he went to the eye doctor after that 😆
