What a miracle! Just watched the plane crash video and blown away. You guys are absolutely amazing and we pray that all of you, especially Gentry will heal swiftly!

@@satis7561 it the vlog of them in the plane all beforehand he’s the most nervous, and I think Betsy mentioned something on Instagram too about how he was fearful. No hate I just genuinely feel so bad for him
They literally said they all wanted to go.
I feel bad for him too.He was the most apprehensive about going. He even stated his last words,if he were to die...sadly,it almost happened.

Besides the doctors, the Mikesell family are super heroes---battling with the pain and frustrations while at the same time keeping a positive outlook during the healing and rehabilitation process. You're all surrounded by so much love from family and friends and from your fans. Being able to find joy in the face of adversity is refreshing. Gentry really seems excited to get back into vlogging again. You guys are amazing!

Poor Gentry, He has come so far. As an RN I am really happy to see Gentry take serious wearing his braces etc. it is important to go at a “healing” pace and not be in such a rush like some with broken bones. It’ll bite you in the butt when you get older as arthritis sets in where the old injuries were. Like,I’m sorry, Shad rushes. You are doing a great job Gentry!👍🏻❤️🙏🏻

I'm a pilot so I feel bad this happened to the family but your doing good with accepting everything. I'm definitely praying for you all, continue to give God the Glory 😊🙏
The faith of this family is so strong, I know we don’t see everything that goes on, but I feel if something like this happened to me I’d be a balling crying mess. Just so happy you and your family are recovering well, prayers and blessings to you and your family🙏🏼💕
You can see how much the boys are struggling mentally and its heart breaking, I've went through similar things as them so I understand how much they must be struggling mentally. Tell them that something that helped me was doing a list of things I'm grateful for every night so if they can do that it will really help trust me ❤❤

My husband was struck by lightning when our oldest son was 7 weeks old. I remember a therapist asking me/us if there were any positives from the accident. I remember not knowing one single thing being positive, but then later I could see how much love and encouragement we received from people we knew and didn't know. It really is amazing how people can rally around and make a terrible situation a bit more tolerable!!

I just want to say I happened across your video because I am a pilot. Just a private pilot so it suggested your video and I watched it. I have to tell you I've been following you and the recovery. All intensive purposes none of you should be there. I've witnessed a devastating twin engine cessna crash in Lancaster California. None of them survived. It hit me hard because there were 3 kids on that plane. It slowed my flying a little naturally but then I had my accident. The fact that he is already off the opiates is amazing. I've lived it first hand and not only dealing with the healing, the pain, the having your life forever changed in an instant, the depression that comes with that and then you add opiate withdrawals to that with the physical and mental pain and the hot cold sweats and the feeling that your muscles dont want to stay still and the even worse depression that comes with it which all by itself is something that is a huge hurtle to get passed to see you all still hanging tough is a huge testament to your strength and your faith as a family. I agree with dropping youtube. Just concentrate on your health and your family.. I wish you all the best of luck and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Godspeed!!!!

praying for you guys. i’m not sure what you guys are going through but only God knows. something is telling me there is more. stay strong. we will always love you guys, whether you are or aren’t on social media, we will always be thinking of you guys. i know for a fact that you guys probably have a lot of things on ur mind and are nervous to move forward with certain situations. please. do what’s best for you. God works in crazy ways so listen to ur gut. there are more behind the scenes that you guys are struggling with i know and i’m not sure what those things are but i want you to know that you aren’t alone and it’s okay to not be okay. it’s okay to not know what to do. it’s okay to not have answers. him above has all the answers and that’s what matters most. lean on him. lean towards him.
as a teenager christian girl it can be tuff to stay positive but i have finally realized, you don’t have to make everyone happy. life is life. you will sin. you will cry. you will make people upset. you will change lives. you will learn. that’s life. so please know that what ur going through is for a reason. listen to his signs. keep being y’all and know we support you guys. God is great and he had, has and always will have you guys in his hands. he’s working on big things. we don’t know why this happened, we never thought of what good would come out of something like this, but i know do God knows what he’s doing. if i’m going to be honest, you guys have planted seeds. you have planted seeds without even knowing it. this crash has changed someone’s life, had reminded them that there is hope. keep planting seeds. one last thing, please repeat w me, it’s okay to not know the answers. it’s okay to not know. put God first, and then everything will follow. he knows what is yet to come and he’s preparing you guys for everything. i always love to say, i trust the next chapter because i know the author. it reminds me that there is no need to worry about later today, tmr, later this month or year. what matters to now, right now in moment. why worry when God is already there? keep being you guys and he is your guys biggest fan. he’s ur #1 rooting you on. trust and keep walking. much love, b.

I love the openness you have. Your allowing complete strangers as myself to see inside your life as you navigate uncharted water in this time. That takes courage, which you as a family have truck loads. Thank you Lord Jesus for allowing me to see your love displayed so raw to us. It’s humbling.

My dad was in an accident and had bleeding in his brain also, and he too started using a bunch of big words. Lol

Y'all are so strong. I feel for the boys, having a parent go through something like this is horrible, and very nerve racking. My dad was in and out of the hospital for a year, he had a hole in his gallbladder but they couldn't remove it because they found that this liver was in failure and he got pushed to the top of the transplant list. Luckily July of 2019 he got his transplant and he is doing so amazingly well. But during that recovery it was one of the most trying times for my family. The first 48 hours of the a transplant is the hardest, because at any moment his body could regret the liver and he could die. Being a child watching your parents go through that is so heart breaking. Betsy I am at awe of your strength, watching my dad go through that was hard but it was almost harder to watch my mom go through this, she was trying to remain to strong for us but you knew you was so scared, and so heart broken but it all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
well Betsy looks beautiful as always and Gentry I'm so proud of you for being so strong and to all the kids yall are so strong and amazing!

I’ve been watching Brock and Boston and this channel but never subscribed. I love your family! It breaks my heart that you all are going through this. I’m a home health nurse in CA, I feel you should ask your doctor for home health referral for nursing care and ask the doctor for prescriptions for a hoyer lift to help transfer him from chair to bed, chair to car etc. and for other equipment Gentry may need. Or he can get an aide to help with transfers so Betsy can heal her injuries also. Ask for a hospital bed at home so you can adjust it so you can get up more easily. I started watching this channel because of Gentry’s crazy humor. But, Gentry is such a great human being he has no ill feelings after all that has happened. Yes try to wear eye patch if it does not bother you. Gentry you look really good! You have an awesome spirit! Thank you Brock and Boston for helping Dad and Mom so much! Stay safe and healthy!

I used to be someone vip and then I had a motorcycle accident and it change my life forever, now I’m a paraplegic I feel for you guys, I never even seen your channel before this plane crash came across my RUclips screen ,every day gets easier but never the same

I love your crazy eye!! Gentry couldn't be ugly no matter what. However, I'm balling my head off seeing Gentry in the hospital. My sister had a cardiac arrest last week and was on a ventilator for 3 days. I can so understand your feelings and gratefulness when you come so close to losing someone. Great video!!!!! I've had arthritis in my legs and hips since a child. You look like me trying to move. I feel your struggle.
What a nice family, The wife is super cool, and beautiful but that's beside the point, but she has the most amazing personality.
I also think the brothers seem close and I like how they look over at each other once in a while to see how their reaction is, they seem to care about each other, which is refreshing these days.
This guy will get through this fine, and mostly because he has such a great support base around him.

Watching this I just got so choked up giggling with Gentry. I just Love him and for him to still be alive today so Thankful and Blessed just overwhelms my heart. Praise the Lord! Because of some horrendous things I have personally been through, I am not the same. I now look at life differently, with a keen spiritual awareness towards discernment. Even though I was alone in my experiences, God never left me. Having a loving family to experience these things with, is a blessing from God. Thank you for sharing.....

Why do the best always have trouble, but it made their family stronger. It also made me think of how much I love and care for others well being. I WISH your family the best in these hard times, but your family is too strong for this. It affects you but you can get through this together

Thanks so much for the update. It's good to hear that Gentry still has his sense of humor. Patience is a virtue and it really won't be that long before you're back better than ever. Ask your doctor if you can use a Tens unit. It really helped me with pain from a couple of bulging discs in my back. It kind of takes the edge off of the pain even at a low level.
Cant waite to watch all of this love you guys soo so much prayers daily.
Bless his heart for recognizing her injuries because she does do a lot and I know that by helping someone in my family who has to ask for everything so I pray for these guys to stay on coarse and serve God to the fullest:)

I honestly was hesitant on watching this video because I thought it would make me sad and feel bad for them and of course I do feel bad for them because of everything that they all have gone through, but seeing them interacting with one another and just looking so happy and pure made me SOO happy! So glad that Gentry and everyone involved in the crash is doing much better and I hope they all continue to heal and get better. Gentry is still funny as ever and is still gorgeous! No eye patch needed 😉😂

When I see Gentry in your ig stories, I’ve been amazed with how great he looks! And seeing those earlier videos after the accident again just validated how much he has healed thus far! I’m a PT and I’m so enjoying following your journey to recovery. I have so much faith that Gentry will continue to make leaps and bounds physically!

I fractured my spine April 2020. I am hoping that Gentry recovers fully. I know it takes time. I also had reconstructive surgery on my right foot one year ago. I can still feel the screws and pins. Gentry it takes about a year to let your body heal. God Bless You and Your Family. By the way Aqua Therapy feels amazing on the healing body. The water is nice and warm. 8 hour frozen gel packs help so much at nightime.

He broke all from tensing up. When your in an accident you should not tense up cause that's when things snap! Glad your OK,God be with you and your family.
