In America those pink flowered plants are called Japanese lorepetalum. They have one called Chocolate lorepetalum. The leaves are darker/chocolate color.
I jumped on line right away and found Jazz Hands® Pink Chinese Fringe-Flower variety too. It gets 5'x5' in zones 7b-9 to make a glorious hedge like that.
i live near them, if they want some impressive yellowbelly and silver perch ive been fishing somewhere that is drying rapidly if they are interested in rescuing some they are close to and above 50cm
