i think my favourite is the rec pool. love the mystery, the colour palette and the size of the pool. it feels homely and snug as oppose to the big ponds and rec pools which are equally mind blowing. you guys are amazing
i've been waiting for this build to finish since the first vlog. all the hard work and artistry. it was worth the wait. your works are like living art. they get better with time.

off the top of my head this has got to be the nicest pond/stream i have seen of this size. the only ones i can think of that i like better are the really big ones that need acreage to build. i like the whole flow of it, nothing looks forced or out of place. the hidden deck area at the top is uncommon, and it doesn't just dead end there but continues on to a natural conclusion. the only change i would make is to the railing going into the pool, i would have found something in an anodized brown or black (maybe powder coated) to make it not stick out so much.
OMG, this is our favorite of your creations so far. Our fave is the journey, with the stone staircases and hidden paths connecting the different features. We would LOVE to see an above drone shot of the layout to see if it would fit around our log cabin. We have checked to see if any Aquascape licensed creators are here in the Black Hills of SD and sadly found out there are none. It appears you can travel here and hire local help and resources.
I have been watching you guys for a couple years now and keep seeing how you take it to yet another level and change up what I have seen before. That teaser of seeing the 'before' build process toward the completed tour begs that you actually show that process in another video with the intent of how you showcased the 'reveal'. I guess I am asking for the perspective of how the 'artist' shares the vision with the construction team during that creation real-time. Yeah, an earlier typical old format I am use to seeing, but I still want to see it. I still want the mechanics of before, the amount of and size of rocks, the plumbing, products used, and even seeing and hearing how the customer thinks and every day uses that environment. Finally, is this feature suitable for koi?
It's all really a team effort! Brian draws out his vision, but it almost always changes a little as we are building. The product list is extensive, but we used over 100 tons of stone about. They could put koi in the rec pond, but they don't plan on it.
My most favorite part is the mystery. Oh, and the swim pond part is way up there too!

Between Team Aquascape, Ed The Pound Professor, and Greg Wittstock, the Pound guy. It makes it like a place to work every day no matter what happens even with all the challenges. no wonder why I want to be part of the team. Every part of the pound builds is worth the time to relax and enjoy the nightlife for more to come.

A Super Duper Congrats on the best backyard design I have ever viewed. I am so wicked Jealous that this creation is not in my backyard. You and the fantastic talented team at Aquascapes has created a backyard environment that would make any owner never want to leave home. I really really love all the different viewing points that can't be seen from just one location (a surprise around everyone stone). I actually watched the video again (with my eyes closed) because i wanted to experience all the different sounds created from the different waterfall formations. LOVE LOVE THIS

That is a gorgeous swim pond! I'd love something like that at home but for me the real draw would be the waterfalls and fish. Because I look at a build like this and always ask "where are the fish?".

I love it entirety. I can die living there but can I suggest adding 1 or 2 big boulders at the top behind the waterfall to give some elevation while viewing from the bottom instead of a having flat top above.

Its truly amazing and so beautiful. I absolutely love love love this project. I think I have to agree this is one of my top 3 favorite projects I've seen you create. Its truly amazing and your thought process and attention to detail and your use of different elements and grades are just remarkable and truly spectacular. Wow I can't believe its only 30 feet wide it looks so so much bigger and what a mystery at every step you take. Fantastic design and execution Brian you and the guys killed it.. Omv if I ever won the lottery I would say I want this project exactly the same in my back yard. I love it so much. I've been in the hospital again for 5 months and almost lost my life having a 3rd stroke again and coming home to now see my first video back this is just spectacular to see. Brian im always in amazement at what you do and say how could you do any better an man you just keep doing it. You definitely deserve and have earned your reputation for aquascape you truly give everything you have to always create these spectacular designs and make them come to life in such a short period of time. Got to see it Saturday, this was next level! My favorite aspect was the negative edge view off the mini rec pond! Feels like the concept of a plunge pool spilling back into the pond would be the add on everyone dreams of adding to their existing ponds.

Ever since watching the little teasers/updates on this one, I've been waiting with excitement for the reveal. I'm hooked on the Aquascape channel and this pond did not dissapoint, it's my favourite to date. Beautiful landscaping and water features and that rec pond is stunning! 😍 you guys at Team Aquascape are amazing with the vision and skillset you possess in bringing mother nature and her beauty in to peoples places. “This is not a big backyard” is all in perspective being from the Netherlands one of the densely populated areas this is considered a massive backyard:)
My family and I were able to see this on the Pond Tour!! We drove up from Louisville KY. The videos can’t truly encapsulate the true beautiful of this pond. Oh My Word! Brian and the many others involved in building this did a Magnificent job!! Definitely one that should be seen! ❤ this one! My kids nor my wife and I wanted to leave. Perry and Alena were amazing host. Alena was so down to earth. It was wonderful to hear her story of the journey of this build. Brian you are so right there are so many wonderful things about this build that if it were mine I would have such a hard time deciding my favorite. I think I would sit somewhere different every day.

There are a few different techniques, we recommend an Iongen for string algae, we have a few different water treatments that help with algae build up in a pond as well.
