My argument for XLR8 is this: He's basically a speedster. He can turn on a dime and has great reflexes. Jetray may be faster in terms of overall travel via flying and swimming, but can Jetray go full speed through a small, twisty-turny cave? Can he search through a few dozen filing cabinets in an instant? I doubt it. XLR8 is more than a fast land hero, he can go through buildings and underground quicker than a gust of wind and search for or dismantle something in mere seconds.
Bro, jetray literally held a ship in the episode of ben 10,000, not to mention the resistance that his body has to have to withstand the speed of light
Water Hazard is underappreciated, in my opinion at least, not only can he project water but the given underwater breathing and swimming ability and his durability means he could take blows from a few heavy hitters at least, a solid list though I also would pick jetray as the speed alien since he's got a Swiss army knife power set. Loved seeing eye guy as he's very versatile too
My personal play list 1. Jet ray Very fast able to fly as well as breath in space and under water making both capturing or escaping jet ray nearly impossible as there aren't many places to go that jet ray can't follow and the few things it can't do can be compensated by some other contenders on the list. Nueroshocks means that Ben has a powerful offensive option while also being nonlethal should you want your target alive. 2. Big chill First it can fly though not as fast as jet ray can bypass walls, floors, and ceilings making escaping hard. Also good for stealth since it can stay out of site being intangible and can of course ice powers 3. Humungsaur Just brute when necessary not much to explain 4. Diamond head Can make structures out of diamonds and has diamond skin making him almost immune to certain attacks 5. Wild mut Should Ben find himself in an area where he can't see or by some miracle somebody success fully outran jet ray wild mut can track you down by getting your scent and since it doesn't need eyes it can fight in the dark. 6. Echo echo Find yourself surrounded and running is not an option. You don't need backup you are the backup. Shatter the eardrums of all your enemies and since you can multiply you can send one to get help as well as hold your ground at the same time 7. Swamp fire Manipulates fire and uses vines to its advantage also can heal itself and heal others 8. Feed back Being able to absorb energy and fire back in the form of electricity is and make big explosions is just useful 9. Brain storm Very smart and not useless in combat not much more to say 10. Grav attack Not much to say manipulating gravity has a lot of uses Just realized I made Ben a bounty hunter
Personally, I would've squeezed in Pesky Dust somehow. It may not be a good fighter by any capacity, but who needs combat prowess when you can just put your opponent to sleep? Not only that, but PD is the best intel-gatherer amongst Ben's aliens; it doesn't just passively read minds, it *makes them to give away info voluntarily* . Sometimes knowing truly is half the battle. As an added bonus, while it may not be as small as Grey Matter, small size + flight can come in handy every once in a while.
To put Feedback's power into context, you should know the (estimated) power of the Big Bang. According to research, the Big Bang was able to fling energy at the speed of light (300 million meters per second) and the temperature of the universe was approximately 1000 trilion degrees Celsius in the split second after the explosion went off... and Feedback was able to contain all of that energy in his hands and also control it by directing it in direction that he wanted. I’m genuinely surprised by how good your playlist picks were and how well they manage to cover almost every necessary basis. I could see why a lot of people wouldn’t like some of your choices but when you see and create a lot of playlists you realise just how easy it is for favouritism and whatnot to create un unbalanced roster that lacks flying or space travel or strength or whatever and I think you managed to avoid that with this list. Your line of thinking was really similar to mine in creating a particular playlist and we even had a lot of the same picks (I tried to prioritise versatility too but also wanted to balance out the amount of aliens from each era to a degree 😅) 1.) Theres a episode in ultimate alien where ben goes after Kevin in his ultimate Kevin form and uses echo echo and Kevin actually kills all of the echo echo clones but its revealed that he has one in the trunk of his car just in case of situations and its not outright said but he keeps that echo echo in there forever
So glad to see Gutrot on here! I am a sucker for chemical powers, and I really like Gutrot as a result. Shame he got introduced quite late in Omniverse, wishe we could see more of him. Also: don't sleep on Water Hazard. His shell is insanely durable.
I did a full analysis of Gutrot using my old Chemistry textbook and he is OP! While we don't know what the temperature and pressure ranges for the gases he produces are (Everything can be a gas if its hot enough/under a small enough atmosphere) he can still produce gasses that incapacitate anything non-mechanic. He also could turn himself into a plasma saw so he is immune to insane temperatures. On the flip side, expanding gas cools rapidly so Gutrot could survive near absolute zero. He won't drown either since he can produce his own oxygen, or whatever gas he breathes. We also saw the bounty hunter Crab incapacitate Ghost Freak with a gas that clung to him so Gutrot could do that too. The wiki also says he is immune to Pesky Dust's powers. And then there is Radon Gas which is highly radioactive and since Gutrot can produce it he must be either immune or highly resistant to radiation! Yeah. No one can stop Gutrot except the UN. Because he can produce Mustad Gas and similar compounds, he is a walking Geneva Violation.

He can absorb and release energy from any part of his body, while Feedback needs his tendrils or fingers free to do so. -Unlike Feedback, Chromastone can utilize his own energy without the need to absorb anything first. -Chromastone can also fly. _Chromastone absolutely superior to Feedback._
My playlist was designed not to be as powerful as possible but as powerful as logically necessary with minimal redundancy: Swamp Fire - Regeneration, Photokinetic, Pyrokinetic; XLR8 - Speed, Claws, Semi-prehensile Tail; Chromastone - Energy Absorbtion, Magic Absorbtion, Energy Blasts, Flight, Agility; Nanomech - Small, Flight, Energy Bolts, Adaptability; Frankenstrike - Strength, Supreme Intellect (Canonically greater than Brainstorm), Durability, Electrokinetic, Electromagnetism; Water Hazard - Hydrokinetic, Water Temperature Control (Creating Ice/Steam; ITS CANON!), Water Breathing, Data Gathering (Visor); Ghost Freak - All the things you listed; Rath - Force of Nature, Tracking, Fighting Prowess; Echo Echo - Duplication, Sonic Blasts, Sonic Barriers, Echolocation; Waybig - Trump Card; Intragalactic Travel (In the video games he travelled 100s of times lightspeed). Again, this was not supposed to be as powerful as ben could be, just as powerful as he could ever need to be.
a fantastic list, im sure you get these comments all the time, but here's my list for a perfect playlist excluding the OP bois 1-swampfire. a staple ailienforce boi with both plant and fire abilities, plus his regeneration is absolutely insane 2- upgrade. as you said, the ability to manipulate any technology is kind of nuts to be honest 3- big chill. this coldboi has some of ghostfreak's powers combined with ice/freezing abilities 4- humungosaur. solid strength alien 5- jet ray. the fastest alien ben has, plus space breathing is important 6- echo-echo. the sound cloning bois are some of the coolest aliens from AF 7- brainstorm. for both big brain and electricity 8- chromastone. for energy absorption and constructs, plus it can evolve into diamondhead at some point 9- NRG. a pretty solid powerhouse of an alien that can prove useful in a variety of situations 10- my boi goop, im my eyes he counts as a water alien and the ability to slip through and completely mould your shape at will is pretty good, plus if you keep the ufo thingy IN the body, makes goop much harder to get rid of

Big Chill, it's like Ghostfreak, but I get children instead of Z'Skayr 4. Echo Echo, he made Bitzwolfer and Ditto obsolete 5. Jetray, faster than XLR8 AND he can fly AND he can shoot lazars 6. XLR8, I already have Jetray, but I just wanted XLR8 for fun, running super fast has to feel cooler than flying super fast 7. Brainstorm, not as smart as Greymatter, but he's smart enough and he has more powers 8. Water Hazard, for water based adventures except not useless outside of water (I'm looking at you Ripjaws) 9. NRG, he's an absolute powerhouse in and out of his suit 10. Alien X, just in case
My personal playlist is Ditto, Upgrade, Chamalien, Echo Echo, Clockwork, JuryRigg, Pesky Dust, Grey Matter, Xlr8 and Upchuck. If I can squeeze two more, it would be Buzzshock and Gravattack.
I’d have Upgrade, XLR8, Armodrillo, Ripjaws are the mandatory ones, Bloxx would be nice, so would Swampfire, Clockwork could be good, Brainstorm as my Big Brain Boi, WaterHazard and GhostFreak as my starter 10, then I’d hopefully pickup Buzzshock, Eyeguy, Fourarms, Upchuck and Wildmutt later on
The only thing missing is some kind of Plant ability, but the overall versatility more than makes up for that. I'm also a little bummed that XLR8 didn't make it in, since he's one of two aliens that are tied for my favorite. He can act fast on top of moving fast, but it's difficult to replace anything in the list since each pick covers so many bases. For the purposes of versatility, Jet Ray's other powers make him a better pick for this particular playlist, despite XLR8's better control of his speed. Also, I really like the inclusion of Gutrot, he's definitely a must-have. His mastery of chemistry is something entirely unique to him, and it's insanely versatile. For me, my playlist is XLR8, Upgrade, Heatblast, Big Chill, Gutrot, Gray Matter, Jet Ray, Chromastone, Four Arms, and Bloxx. This one is super biased and more focused on my personal favorites as well as what I'd use in everyday life. The reason I went with Four Arms instead of Humungousaur is mostly because of bias, but also because it would be easier to use him in enclosed spaces, and Upgrade can achieve the size factor by transforming something into a giant robot. Bloxx's ability to form any structure pleases my problem solving Lego brain, and he'd have TONS of practical uses. Feedback almost made it in for me, but I have to give that spot to Chromastone since he's my other favorite alien next to XLR8.
You made a solid point with Ghost Freak, I probably wouldn't pick him due to him escaping the Omnitrix in the OG series. While I'm aware that more advanced variants of the Omnitrix do prevent this from happening, I'd be tentatively selecting him. Here’s my personal playlist, which I tried to make balanced. I also added the names I’d use if I had the omnitrix 1.Swampfire(Stemblaze/Powerplant), plant powers means tons of versatility and scalable strength, plus fire powers for brute force 2. Big chill(Frostblight), cryo is underrated as an ability, eating metal can dismantle machinery, and being a flyer and a ghost type is op for top tier evasiveness 3. Upgrade(Catalyst), very powerful in terms of hacks 4. XLR8(Reptailer), this level of speed is very powerful given the right situation(I think he’s cooler and better in combat than Jetray sry) 5. Benwolf(Howler), good for tracking, has great agility, and the howl ability is a great plus (Can be replaced by echo echo(resound)) 6. Ampfibian(Hydrozone(play on hydrozoan=jellyfish)), as an underwater alien is required for the versatility which makes the omnitrix so good in the first place plus he’s super underrated as he can also fly, has electrical powers, AND can read minds. Must have in my opinion. 7. Grey matter(Inkling), for the smarts and his size allows for a tactical retreat to think a situation through + versatility 8. Lodestar(Disruptor), incredible durability, any enemy that’s even slightly metallic or in a metallic setting is cooked However, for a user that prefers busted aliens, Gravattack(Mass Effect) has very similar abilities without the limitation regarding material, so it’s a perfect alternative 9. Humongousaur(Scale- as in size or an actual scale(+scale for weight)). I know most people prefer the other strength aliens, and I do to design wise and because he’s overused in the show, however this playlist requires a powerhouse, especially size wise and having a strong and durable alien that can scale and grow really fills the gaps for what the other aliens will have trouble against However, he can easily be replaced with Armodrillo(Beefquake), it’s really a coin flip or a preference thing. 10. Felt wrong not to include diamondhead(Gemstash) in a Ben ten playlist, I was gonna go Feedback(Backlash) to deal with any energy blasts but diamondhead can refract energy like in the first episode, although it’s much more complicated, but that’s with great durability, and the insanely sharp and durable shapeshifting arms and powerful crystal projectiles, so I’ll go with that
In the Gwen 10 episode Gwen said she used Upgrade to upgrade her laptop’s processing speed. And COULD STILL USE IT ONCE THE TIME RAN OUT. YOU CAN JUST MAKE THE ULTIMATE COMPUTER THAT CAN DO ANYTHING ESSENTIALLY. Games running slow? Add more RAM. Games look terrible? Upgrade the graphics chip. Upgrade is broken.
Here's my playlist I made up on the spot - Feedback, Waterhazard, Brainstorm, Diamondhead, Artiguana, Gravittack, Ripjaws, Wildmutt, Ult swampFire and lastly Alien X on Reserve. Water hazard, Artiguna, Ripjaws and Wildmutt are for fighting/hunting/tracking on different terrain. Swampfire, diamond head, Gravittack and water Hazard [again] are my heavy hitters And lastly Brainstorm and Alien X are my over powered ones in life or death scenarios. If I could use this with the BIOtrix [Merge aliens] That'd be nice, too. Feedback is a little of everything.
My perfect playlist in order: 1. Highbreed: He wrecked Humangasaur, He can fire nails, and fly. 2. Swampfire: Got them super strength. Fire manipulation. Plant manipulation, and poison immunity. 3. Greymatter: Got tiny size to hide and giant brain IQ to unlock master control if Azmuth give me the green light. 4: Jetray: Got the swim, fly, and shoot laser. 5: Big Chill: Got the stealth, the flying, and the ice freeze. 6. Upgrade: You get electricity and technology upgrade 7. Sixsix/Tenten: he is my smaller indoor space fighter who have acess to blasters, grenades and jet pack. 8. Diamondhead: He got the best defense of the defensive aliens with his crystal being able to withstand a time blast. 9. Shock rock from the reboot. He can create tools from his electricity. 10. Dragon but mine will take the shape of Stardust Dragon

It could be argued that swapfire would be a good replacement for humungosaur. Even if he isn’t as strong, he’s still pretty good (he took down a highbreed weather tower) plus he has multiple other abilities
This is probably an unfair feat considering we can't exactly measure this, but he also managed to resist the pull and exit out of a null void portal after just gaining consciousness moments prior.
My playlist in real life (not considering the 5 you said) would be: big chill, echo echo, xlr8, upchuck, upgrade, feedback, ghostfreak, diamondhead, swampfire and articguana. Not the most effective but I would like to have them.

The only real changes id make is id drop Eye Guy and Diamond Head for Swampfire and Pesky Dust, assuming the initial five you mentioned are still banned. Swampfire may be a fire alien, but more importantly, he has chlorokinesis, something no alien you mentioned has. Also, Pesky Dust’s dream manipulation powere are INCREDIBLY strong if you think about it, sort of an alien in the same boat as Gutrot (who i absolutely love that you included, I was worried you’d choose Toepick…)
I had decide going into this i would make a new playlist following the "No Powerhouse" rule, so I paused the vid went to Trixdex and made a whole new playlist, which basically amounted to me subbing out Clockwork and Gravattack. By the time you got to your final 2 I was praying for Eyeguy and Gutrot, I always felt like they never got as much attention as they should have.
My Playlist: *XLR8*: a must-have *Swampfire*: jack of all trades, great for feeling out a complicated situation and testing what works *Blitzwolfer*: great for melee combat and tracking opponents *Big Chill*: I don't need to explain this one *Grey Matter*: if I need a brain, may as well go with the A-Game *Armodrillo*: probably the most strategic of the muscle aliens. Not saying he can take Vilgax in a fight, but he's the only one who hasn't tried *Upgrade*: imagine this guy fighting in a Techadon factory *Lodestar*: can only do metal, but his pull is stronger than Gravattack *Diamondhead*: excellent at one-on-one and great at everything else *Feedback*: "You said you wanted your very own Big Bang!"

I would probably pick four-arms instead of humungosaur as hes much more agile (he can jump like the hulk and is surprisingly fast) plus he would be better in a brawl due to his 4 arms and just being able to run around pretty easily. I maybe would also swap out diamond head for wildmutt due to the superior senses but either one is good.
Not a bad list. Given the same restriction that I can't use OP aliens like Alien X, Clockwork, Way Big, Atomic or Gravattach, here is my personal playlist 1. Brainstorm- almost as smart as Grey Matter, plus he has very versatile Electric powers. He can shoot electric blasts, make electric forcefields and even use his electric powers to levitate objects 2. Rath- combat expert, super strong and durable, very fun alien 3. Jetray- can fly super fast, shoot energy blasts, breathe underwater and survive in space 4. Swampfire- every playlist needs a fire alien, and he is my favorite fire alien. can also control plants, regenerate body parts and is super strong 5. Ghostfreak- his invisibility & intangibility make him perfect for stealth 6. Cannonbolt- can become indestructible wrecking ball. Based on his first ep, he has more attach power than OG 10 aliens. he can kill giant tick that other aliens couldn't. Later easily matched Kevin 11 7. Gutrot- I agree that gutrot is underrated. not only can he make any gas, he is also super smart 8. Kickin Hawk- ben considers him to be his most skilled fighter alien. He also has super strong kicks, sharp talons, and is just really cool in my opinion 9. Pesky Dust- can put others to sleep and control their dreams. Great for interrogation 10. Water hazard- dude, water hazard is better than you think. Not only can he shoot water, he can also control water, has an unbreakable shell, can breathe underwater and is a pretty good fighter Honorable mentions (Feedback- he is so strong that he should have been included with overpowered aliens. Also, I didn't want another electric alien. I agree that their are too many electric aliens Chamalien- He is one of my favorite aliens but Ghostfreak is better at stealth so I did him instead Diamondhead- I agree he is pretty cool but I think Cannobolt is stronger/tougher so I put him instead)
Big chill, grey matter and echo echo used in combination to hack the watch to allow echo echo clones to change forms like before azmith fixed it then the echo echos will shatter the villains the big chills freeze neutralising anything that isn’t immune to freezing which is rare

This is probably my bias showing but: the only thing I'd change about your list is big chill instead of ghost freak. Ghost freaks two best features are intangibility and space survival. You already have jet ray for space and Big chill gives you ice options and intangibilities. I also would try and fit swampfire in there somewhere too for fire, plants control and invulnerability. If im limited to ten I want as many options as possible. Great video though!

One problem while jet Ray is faster and he definitely needs to keep his spot on the playlist he's not as maneuverable as XLR8 who can react really fast too he can move people out of the way of danger and do anything faster if it was a straight line race jet Ray stomps but if they were navagating a maze I'd put my money on XLR8

Brainstorm is such a better choice tho cause of the He can manipulate electricity. He can project force fields around himself and others by thought. He can use his electrokinesis to telekinetically move objects and control machinery. He has enhanced strength. He can levitate
The only thing i would change in this playlist is change Greymatter for Brainstorm for the movement prediction that he posess, and use Ultimate Alien Diamondhead which is fused with Chromastone so it can also fly and absorb energy. Since we got our energy absorbing alien there, i would switch Feedback for The Worst ro become completely indestructible. And Upgrade for Heatblast because i don't see the point in depending on technology to be able to fight. I agree with everything else.
When he put upgrade on the list of electric aliens, and then said he had an electric alien, I was sad cause I knew he'd use feedback. But then Upgrade showed up right after feedback so I was very happy.

"The only alien that can shoot water, is Water Hazard, and he's kinda useless, because it's his only power" It was confirmed that Water Hazard also has Hydrokinesis, which is absurdly overpowered and people don't realize that. Basically he could manipulate not only water, but water inside things, like Humans or plants.

Water Hazard is underappreciated, in my opinion at least, not only can he project water but the given underwater breathing and swimming ability and his durability means he could take blows from a few heavy hitters at least, a solid list though I also would pick jetray as the speed alien since he's got a Swiss army knife power set. Loved seeing eye guy as he's very versatile too
Canonically Water Hazard has control of water temperature. It is not explored, but he technically should be able to make ice constructs.

My personal play list
1. Jet ray
Very fast able to fly as well as breath in space and under water making both capturing or escaping jet ray nearly impossible as there aren't many places to go that jet ray can't follow and the few things it can't do can be compensated by some other contenders on the list.
Nueroshocks means that Ben has a powerful offensive option while also being nonlethal should you want your target alive.
2. Big chill
First it can fly though not as fast as jet ray can bypass walls, floors, and ceilings making escaping hard.
Also good for stealth since it can stay out of site being intangible and can of course ice powers
3. Humungsaur
Just brute when necessary not much to explain
4. Diamond head
Can make structures out of diamonds and has diamond skin making him almost immune to certain attacks
5. Wild mut
Should Ben find himself in an area where he can't see or by some miracle somebody success fully outran jet ray wild mut can track you down by getting your scent and since it doesn't need eyes it can fight in the dark.
6. Echo echo
Find yourself surrounded and running is not an option. You don't need backup you are the backup.
Shatter the eardrums of all your enemies and since you can multiply you can send one to get help as well as hold your ground at the same time
7. Swamp fire
Manipulates fire and uses vines to its advantage also can heal itself and heal others
8. Feed back
Being able to absorb energy and fire back in the form of electricity is and make big explosions is just useful
9. Brain storm
Very smart and not useless in combat not much more to say
10. Grav attack
Not much to say manipulating gravity has a lot of uses

Personally, I would've squeezed in Pesky Dust somehow. It may not be a good fighter by any capacity, but who needs combat prowess when you can just put your opponent to sleep? Not only that, but PD is the best intel-gatherer amongst Ben's aliens; it doesn't just passively read minds, it *makes them to give away info voluntarily* . Sometimes knowing truly is half the battle.
As an added bonus, while it may not be as small as Grey Matter, small size + flight can come in handy every once in a while.
I was really considering Pesky Dust but eventually went with Gut rot because he has a wider range of attack

To put Feedback's power into context, you should know the (estimated) power of the Big Bang.
According to research, the Big Bang was able to fling energy at the speed of light (300 million meters per second) and the temperature of the universe was approximately 1000 trilion degrees Celsius in the split second after the explosion went off... and Feedback was able to contain all of that energy in his hands and also control it by directing it in direction that he wanted. If that's not OP, idk what is...
The Wiki says that while he could absorb that energy, he couldn't contain that energy long term. Maybe, but sounds like downplaying to me.
I’m genuinely surprised by how good your playlist picks were and how well they manage to cover almost every necessary basis. I could see why a lot of people wouldn’t like some of your choices but when you see and create a lot of playlists you realise just how easy it is for favouritism and whatnot to create un unbalanced roster that lacks flying or space travel or strength or whatever and I think you managed to avoid that with this list. Your line of thinking was really similar to mine in creating a particular playlist and we even had a lot of the same picks (I tried to prioritise versatility too but also wanted to balance out the amount of aliens from each era to a degree 😅)

Theres a episode in ultimate alien where ben goes after Kevin in his ultimate Kevin form and uses echo echo and Kevin actually kills all of the echo echo clones but its revealed that he has one in the trunk of his car just in case of situations and its not outright said but he keeps that echo echo in there forever
So glad to see Gutrot on here! I am a sucker for chemical powers, and I really like Gutrot as a result. Shame he got introduced quite late in Omniverse, wishe we could see more of him.
Also: don't sleep on Water Hazard. His shell is insanely durable.
I did a full analysis of Gutrot using my old Chemistry textbook and he is OP! While we don't know what the temperature and pressure ranges for the gases he produces are (Everything can be a gas if its hot enough/under a small enough atmosphere) he can still produce gasses that incapacitate anything non-mechanic. He also could turn himself into a plasma saw so he is immune to insane temperatures. On the flip side, expanding gas cools rapidly so Gutrot could survive near absolute zero. He won't drown either since he can produce his own oxygen, or whatever gas he breathes. We also saw the bounty hunter Crab incapacitate Ghost Freak with a gas that clung to him so Gutrot could do that too. The wiki also says he is immune to Pesky Dust's powers. And then there is Radon Gas which is highly radioactive and since Gutrot can produce it he must be either immune or highly resistant to radiation! Yeah. No one can stop Gutrot except the UN. Because he can produce Mustad Gas and similar compounds, he is a walking Geneva Violation.
Ghostfreak is pretty great.

-Chromastone is heavily armored, Feedback's only defensive means are absorption (if it's an energy based attack) or dodging.
-Chromastone doesn't need to do anything to absorb energy. He can absorb and release energy from any part of his body, while Feedback needs his tendrils or fingers free to do so.
-Unlike Feedback, Chromastone can utilize his own energy without the need to absorb anything first.
-Chromastone can also fly.

My playlist was designed not to be as powerful as possible but as powerful as logically necessary with minimal redundancy: Swamp Fire - Regeneration, Photokinetic, Pyrokinetic; XLR8 - Speed, Claws, Semi-prehensile Tail; Chromastone - Energy Absorbtion, Magic Absorbtion, Energy Blasts, Flight, Agility; Nanomech - Small, Flight, Energy Bolts, Adaptability; Frankenstrike - Strength, Supreme Intellect (Canonically greater than Brainstorm), Durability, Electrokinetic, Electromagnetism; Water Hazard - Hydrokinetic, Water Temperature Control (Creating Ice/Steam; ITS CANON!), Water Breathing, Data Gathering (Visor); Ghost Freak - All the things you listed; Rath - Force of Nature, Tracking, Fighting Prowess; Echo Echo - Duplication, Sonic Blasts, Sonic Barriers, Echolocation; Waybig - Trump Card; Intragalactic Travel (In the video games he travelled 100s of times lightspeed).
Again, this was not supposed to be as powerful as ben could be, just as powerful as he could ever need to be.
a fantastic list, im sure you get these comments all the time, but here's my list for a perfect playlist excluding the OP bois
1-swampfire. a staple ailienforce boi with both plant and fire abilities, plus his regeneration is absolutely insane
2- upgrade. as you said, the ability to manipulate any technology is kind of nuts to be honest
3- big chill. this coldboi has some of ghostfreak's powers combined with ice/freezing abilities
4- humungosaur. solid strength alien
5- jet ray. the fastest alien ben has, plus space breathing is important
6- echo-echo. the sound cloning bois are some of the coolest aliens from AF
7- brainstorm. for both big brain and electricity
8- chromastone. for energy absorption and constructs, plus it can evolve into diamondhead at some point
9- NRG. a pretty solid powerhouse of an alien that can prove useful in a variety of situations
10- my boi goop, im my eyes he counts as a water alien and the ability to slip through and completely mould your shape at will is pretty good, plus if you keep the ufo thingy IN the body, makes goop much harder to get rid of

The main points in this list are strength, reliability, utility, diversity and I have no problem with the selected transformations👍
The only thing missing is some kind of Plant ability, but the overall versatility more than makes up for that. I'm also a little bummed that XLR8 didn't make it in, since he's one of two aliens that are tied for my favorite. He can act fast on top of moving fast, but it's difficult to replace anything in the list since each pick covers so many bases. For the purposes of versatility, Jet Ray's other powers make him a better pick for this particular playlist, despite XLR8's better control of his speed. Also, I really like the inclusion of Gutrot, he's definitely a must-have. His mastery of chemistry is something entirely unique to him, and it's insanely versatile.
For me, my playlist is XLR8, Upgrade, Heatblast, Big Chill, Gutrot, Gray Matter, Jet Ray, Chromastone, Four Arms, and Bloxx. This one is super biased and more focused on my personal favorites as well as what I'd use in everyday life. The reason I went with Four Arms instead of Humungousaur is mostly because of bias, but also because it would be easier to use him in enclosed spaces, and Upgrade can achieve the size factor by transforming something into a giant robot. Bloxx's ability to form any structure pleases my problem solving Lego brain, and he'd have TONS of practical uses. Feedback almost made it in for me, but I have to give that spot to Chromastone since he's my other favorite alien next to XLR8.
I love the playlist you made, it's very reasonable and you can utilize it efficiently.
You made a solid point with Ghost Freak, I probably wouldn't pick him due to him escaping the Omnitrix in the OG series. While I'm aware that more advanced variants of the Omnitrix do prevent this from happening, I'd be tentatively selecting him.

and with greymatter, it is stated that ben becomes the perfect version of that species, meaning he has potential to become smarter than azmuth.
Swampfire is literally a 2 in 1 alien, not to mention all of his overpowered feats, how could you not even do a honorable mention for him.
Here’s my personal playlist, which I tried to make balanced.
I also added the names I’d use if I had the omnitrix
1.Swampfire(Stemblaze/Powerplant), plant powers means tons of versatility and scalable strength, plus fire powers for brute force
2. Big chill(Frostblight), cryo is underrated as an ability, eating metal can dismantle machinery, and being a flyer and a ghost type is op for top tier evasiveness
3. Upgrade(Catalyst), very powerful in terms of hacks
4. XLR8(Reptailer), this level of speed is very powerful given the right situation(I think he’s cooler and better in combat than Jetray sry)
5. Benwolf(Howler), good for tracking, has great agility, and the howl ability is a great plus
(Can be replaced by echo echo(resound))
6. Ampfibian(Hydrozone(play on hydrozoan=jellyfish)), as an underwater alien is required for the versatility which makes the omnitrix so good in the first place plus he’s super underrated as he can also fly, has electrical powers, AND can read minds. Must have in my opinion.
7. Grey matter(Inkling), for the smarts and his size allows for a tactical retreat to think a situation through + versatility
8. Lodestar(Disruptor), incredible durability, any enemy that’s even slightly metallic or in a metallic setting is cooked
However, for a user that prefers busted aliens, Gravattack(Mass Effect) has very similar abilities without the limitation regarding material, so it’s a perfect alternative
9. Humongousaur(Scale- as in size or an actual scale(+scale for weight)). I know most people prefer the other strength aliens, and I do to design wise and because he’s overused in the show, however this playlist requires a powerhouse, especially size wise and having a strong and durable alien that can scale and grow really fills the gaps for what the other aliens will have trouble against
However, he can easily be replaced with Armodrillo(Beefquake), it’s really a coin flip or a preference thing.
10. Felt wrong not to include diamondhead(Gemstash) in a Ben ten playlist, I was gonna go Feedback(Backlash) to deal with any energy blasts but diamondhead can refract energy like in the first episode, although it’s much more complicated, but that’s with great durability, and the insanely sharp and durable shapeshifting arms and powerful crystal projectiles, so I’ll go with that

In the Gwen 10 episode Gwen said she used Upgrade to upgrade her laptop’s processing speed. And COULD STILL USE IT ONCE THE TIME RAN OUT. YOU CAN JUST MAKE THE ULTIMATE COMPUTER THAT CAN DO ANYTHING ESSENTIALLY. Games running slow? Add more RAM. Games look terrible? Upgrade the graphics chip. Upgrade is broken.

Feedback is a little of everything.
My perfect playlist in order:
1. Highbreed: He wrecked Humangasaur, He can fire nails, and fly.
2. Swampfire: Got them super strength. Fire manipulation. Plant manipulation, and poison immunity.
3. Greymatter: Got tiny size to hide and giant brain IQ to unlock master control if Azmuth give me the green light.
4: Jetray: Got the swim, fly, and shoot laser.
5: Big Chill: Got the stealth, the flying, and the ice freeze.
6. Upgrade: You get electricity and technology upgrade
7. Sixsix/Tenten: he is my smaller indoor space fighter who have acess to blasters, grenades and jet pack.
8. Diamondhead: He got the best defense of the defensive aliens with his crystal being able to withstand a time blast.
9. Shock rock from the reboot. He can create tools from his electricity.
10. Dragon but mine will take the shape of Stardust Dragon

It could be argued that swapfire would be a good replacement for humungosaur. Even if he isn’t as strong, he’s still pretty good (he took down a highbreed weather tower) plus he has multiple other abilities
This is probably an unfair feat considering we can't exactly measure this, but he also managed to resist the pull and exit out of a null void portal after just gaining consciousness moments prior.
My playlist in real life (not considering the 5 you said) would be: big chill, echo echo, xlr8, upchuck, upgrade, feedback, ghostfreak, diamondhead, swampfire and articguana.
Not the most effective but I would like to have them.
I think Toepick is an underrated overpowered alien. Just by looking at an opponent he can totally subdue them (Except Ma Vreddle)

The only real changes id make is id drop Eye Guy and Diamond Head for Swampfire and Pesky Dust, assuming the initial five you mentioned are still banned. Swampfire may be a fire alien, but more importantly, he has chlorokinesis, something no alien you mentioned has. Also, Pesky Dust’s dream manipulation powere are INCREDIBLY strong if you think about it, sort of an alien in the same boat as Gutrot (who i absolutely love that you included, I was worried you’d choose Toepick…)
The wiki says that Gutrot is immune to pesky dust's powers. Which is Weid considering they canonically can incapacitate alien x.

I had decide going into this i would make a new playlist following the "No Powerhouse" rule, so I paused the vid went to Trixdex and made a whole new playlist, which basically amounted to me subbing out Clockwork and Gravattack. By the time you got to your final 2 I was praying for Eyeguy and Gutrot, I always felt like they never got as much attention as they should have.
My Playlist:
*XLR8*: a must-have
*Swampfire*: jack of all trades, great for feeling out a complicated situation and testing what works
*Blitzwolfer*: great for melee combat and tracking opponents
*Big Chill*: I don't need to explain this one
*Grey Matter*: if I need a brain, may as well go with the A-Game
*Armodrillo*: probably the most strategic of the muscle aliens. Not saying he can take Vilgax in a fight, but he's the only one who hasn't tried
*Upgrade*: imagine this guy fighting in a Techadon factory
*Lodestar*: can only do metal, but his pull is stronger than Gravattack
*Diamondhead*: excellent at one-on-one and great at everything else
*Feedback*: "You said you wanted your very own Big Bang!"

Was thinking up one of my own and realised the alien force roster was just a lot more versatile in general. I think I'd probably end up picking about 7 of them
I would probably pick four-arms instead of humungosaur as hes much more agile (he can jump like the hulk and is surprisingly fast) plus he would be better in a brawl due to his 4 arms and just being able to run around pretty easily. I maybe would also swap out diamond head for wildmutt due to the superior senses but either one is good.
Not a bad list. Given the same restriction that I can't use OP aliens like Alien X, Clockwork, Way Big, Atomic or Gravattach, here is my personal playlist
1. Brainstorm- almost as smart as Grey Matter, plus he has very versatile Electric powers. He can shoot electric blasts, make electric forcefields and even use his electric powers to levitate objects
2. Rath- combat expert, super strong and durable, very fun alien
3. Jetray- can fly super fast, shoot energy blasts, breathe underwater and survive in space
4. Swampfire- every playlist needs a fire alien, and he is my favorite fire alien. can also control plants, regenerate body parts and is super strong
5. Ghostfreak- his invisibility & intangibility make him perfect for stealth
6. Cannonbolt- can become indestructible wrecking ball. Based on his first ep, he has more attach power than OG 10 aliens. he can kill giant tick that other aliens couldn't. Later easily matched Kevin 11
7. Gutrot- I agree that gutrot is underrated. not only can he make any gas, he is also super smart
8. Kickin Hawk- ben considers him to be his most skilled fighter alien. He also has super strong kicks, sharp talons, and is just really cool in my opinion
9. Pesky Dust- can put others to sleep and control their dreams. Great for interrogation
10. Water hazard- dude, water hazard is better than you think. Not only can he shoot water, he can also control water, has an unbreakable shell, can breathe underwater and is a pretty good fighter
Honorable mentions
(Feedback- he is so strong that he should have been included with overpowered aliens. Also, I didn't want another electric alien. I agree that their are too many electric aliens
Chamalien- He is one of my favorite aliens but Ghostfreak is better at stealth so I did him instead
Diamondhead- I agree he is pretty cool but I think Cannobolt is stronger/tougher so I put him instead)
Big chill, grey matter and echo echo used in combination to hack the watch to allow echo echo clones to change forms like before azmith fixed it then the echo echos will shatter the villains the big chills freeze neutralising anything that isn’t immune to freezing which is rare

This is probably my bias showing but: the only thing I'd change about your list is big chill instead of ghost freak. Ghost freaks two best features are intangibility and space survival. You already have jet ray for space and Big chill gives you ice options and intangibilities. I also would try and fit swampfire in there somewhere too for fire, plants control and invulnerability. If im limited to ten I want as many options as possible. Great video though!
I mean Ghostfreak also has telekinesis, possession, mana immunity and and the scary tentacles

One problem while jet Ray is faster and he definitely needs to keep his spot on the playlist he's not as maneuverable as XLR8 who can react really fast too he can move people out of the way of danger and do anything faster if it was a straight line race jet Ray stomps but if they were navagating a maze I'd put my money on XLR8

Personally I 100% agree diamond head Is the only one that's kind of iffy but he's also my favorite so the list for me is the exact same
Watar hazard doesn’t not only shoot out water but he can absorb it and use it the fly.
The only thing i would change in this playlist is change Greymatter for Brainstorm for the movement prediction that he posess, and use Ultimate Alien Diamondhead which is fused with Chromastone so it can also fly and absorb energy. Since we got our energy absorbing alien there, i would switch Feedback for The Worst ro become completely indestructible. And Upgrade for Heatblast because i don't see the point in depending on technology to be able to fight. I agree with everything else.

When he put upgrade on the list of electric aliens, and then said he had an electric alien, I was sad cause I knew he'd use feedback.
But then Upgrade showed up right after feedback so I was very happy.
My playlist would consist of Swampfire, Humungousaur, Blitzwolfer, XLR8, Grey Matter, Diamondhead, Upgrade, Water Hazard, Big Chill, and Alien X.
I'd likely pick Big Chill over Ghost Freak, but I am biased as they are one of my favourite aliens

6- Swampfire ( he's the result of what if Heatblast and Wildvine had a baby and he's strong and versatile)

8- Echo Echo (he can clone himself and use soynd waves so that's usefull)
9- Upchuck (he's strong and i like him just like almost every alien in this playlist)
10- Ghostfreak (he's cool and has lots of powers)

It was confirmed that Water Hazard also has Hydrokinesis, which is absurdly overpowered and people don't realize that. Basically he could manipulate not only water, but water inside things, like Humans or plants.
