Photon Production Update: Components Have Arrived

- Welcome to the first Photon production update from Rob at Superhuman Bikes! 🚴♂️
A lot has been happening behind the scenes, and we’re excited to share some big updates with you. Parts are rolling in, and we’ve got some cool stuff to show you:
🔧 Seatposts: Featuring a double pin for extra stability, unlike the single pin found on cheaper bikes.
🪑 Saddles: High-quality Sella Royale saddles, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style.
🔆 Reflectors: We need your opinion! Should we mount them or include them separately? Let us know in the comments.
🚲 Pedals: Wellgo forged pedals, known for their durability.
⚙️ Handlebars: Solid alloy bars with a 31.8mm center and a nice rise.
🔩 Rim Tape & Hubs: High-pressure rim tape and reputable Quando front hubs.
We’re also working hard to make our glow-in-the-dark paint match the bike colors. While our current samples glow green, we aim for blue bikes to glow blue, and purple bikes to glow light purple. If we can’t make this work, the glow will default to green.
📦 What’s Next?
Downtube Production: Custom tooling is underway, expected to finish in two weeks.
Motor & Battery: Awaiting arrival.
Frame Welding & Painting: Once the downtube is ready, frames will be welded, painted, assembled, and shipped.
We’re on track to start shipping in September! Stay tuned for more substantial updates as we bring these bikes to life.

Seperate box on the reflectors
I appreciate the update! Glad to hear that the rims are going to match the frame after all, seems like it will maintain the look of the promo images used throughout the campaign.

Throw the relectors in the box, nice to have but I always take them off.

I take my reflectors off and put on real lights. I would rather have them in a separate box.
Separate box for the reflectors! Also, will you guys be selling a “touring package” with things like rack, mudguards (if they will fit) and other stuff? Thanks!

Hey! Thank you for your feedback! We'll take note of this.
Definitely separate box for the reflectors. As many do, I just slap on new lights. I also used to add 3M reflective black tape on the hubs and wheels so that the tape is not visible during the day and only reflects when hit with light.
That sounds like a smart approach!

Haha, sounds like your bike’s got quite the story! 🐶😂 Adding a massage gun to the mix is a smart move-your bike and your muscles will both be in top shape!
Just put them in box not on them alot of people don't like them like me I always take them off
