We are an Indian and American couple who are sharing our journey through life as an intercultural/interracial couple. Margaret is from Mississippi, USA and Prasanth is from Kerala, India. We currently live in New York. We started this channel so our family and friends can see our daily lives and to meet other couples like us. We can't wait to get to know you all.

I am glad I found your channel because it’s great to find a family similar to mine! I am Indian American, my dad is from Kerala and I was born and raised in Maryland. My husband is half white and half Hispanic. We have two beautiful girls who don’t look like either of us lol! They are their own kind of beautiful just like your adorable little girl. I hope to one day take my girls to Kerala and show them all the places their grandpa told me about as a young child. I myself have been to Kerala and Valparai where my Mom is from and it’s truly a magical, beautiful place. Love all your videos! I just subscribed!

By the way, I am also Prashant, and there is an interesting thing about this name as well. The Hindi name of Pacific Ocean, is Prashant Maha-saagar. So it means that people with this name are usually quite deep and calm inside. Moreover, Prashant is a Sanskrit word and it means "peaceful".
I didn’t know it was for Pacific Ocean as well. That is so cool!! He is very peaceful and calm. His name fits him 😊💕

Yes, we Indians do not like marrying twice. We believe that this auspicious knot is tied up in the heaven by God, we are no one to break it. We respect our family and relations to most (exceptions are always there).

This story is very similar to mine or everybody else's. I am an Indian living in US. My son was seeing a white girl which my wife did not approve of. I tried to make peace with the situation but my wife never recovered. It was a cultural shock. My son did not prepare her about our culture and respect for the elders.
There is a lot to learn about Indian culture and it helps to be prepared. It has to be a decision on the non-Indians part to be willing to accept and adapt to that culture and it isn’t always easy. Im sorry your wife has struggled so much with it. 🙏🏼❤️
