@Aspiring Physicist social skills kam nhi hai...he was the only Indian...if he had his friends by chance he would have been much more relaxed...we all feel comfortable among our own people...if he visits any other home in Asia he would feel more comfortable coz their culture is more or less like ours...but American and European cultures are totally different...it feels really awkward to them who hasn't been brought up in that environment...plus our accent is also completely different than theirs ...An indian born there would be as American as a native...it will be completely normal to them...but for us it feels awkward

I have read many comments and seen the different opinions of people. I would say we should appreciate Harnoor for his sense of humor and his extroverted personality. It's not that easy to start a conversation with strange people and especially in situations like where people are from different nationality. His way of interaction may seem a little awkward but he did not let anyone feel they are talking to a stranger. It's his confidence that helped him to mix him up with Katie's family.
On the other hand, I also appreciate Katie's family who welcomed Harnoor and did not let him feel alone. They are so social and I don't think so asking their height and size of shoes is the wrong thing. First of all, if they are comfortable to answer then there is no problem and in a situation like this where most of the people are new, there should be a little reason to start a conversation.
and lastly, Katie concluded the things by giving her honest opinion about Harnoor!
