By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes,
where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond.
Where me and my true love will never meet again,
on the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.
O ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road,
and I'll be in Scotland a'fore ye.
But me and my true love will never meet again,
on the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.
'Twas there that we parted, in yon shady glen,
on the steep, steep sides of Ben Lomond,
Where in soft purple hue, the highland hills we view,
and the moon coming out in the gloaming.
O ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road,
and I'll be in Scotland a'fore ye.
But me and my true love will never meet again,
on the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.
The wee birdies sing and the wildflowers spring,
and in sunshine the waters are sleeping.
But the broken heart it kens nae second spring again,
though the waeful may cease from their grieving.
O ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road,
and I'll be in Scotland a'fore ye.
But me and my true love will never meet again,
on the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.

Beautiful nightcore version. I would recommend another Peter Hollens song. The FORGOTTEN Hobbit Song. It just came not too long ago.

I heard this song after I watch the Barbie Nutcracker movie, and now every.single.time I hear this song I think I think of the Nutcracker story. Not just the Barbie version. Whether it's a licensed property or made by a single artist, that's all I can think about. I mean, the song and the story are from two different countries. Hey brain, want to explain this?
Brain: I don't know, do you enjoy it regardless?
    Me: Yes, bu-
Brain: Then I don't need to explain myself, case closed.
