Thanks, good video. I have successfully added a Z-wave plug to my IQ4 panel. How do I automate it to turn on and off at a certain time? The light packaging says it can be automated on a schedule, but I can't see how to do that on IQ4 panel. Thanks for any info you may have on automating z-wave devices using IQ4.
Automation directly in the panel is limited to those discussed in the video and not very useful. You really need an ADC account to get the most from the system. See here: www.alarmsystemstore.com/collections/alarm-com-residential-service-plans
@@AlarmSystemStore Fixed. ADT had to adjust my account to add AUTOMATION. Now the Control app works great controlling arming and smart devices remotely
You would need Alarm.com service to control any operation remotely from your phone. If youd like to look at plan options we offer you can see them here: www.alarmsystemstore.com/collections/alarm-com-residential-service-plans
Controlling the system remotely through your phone requires the Alarm.com service that is mentioned. This video is just for local automation through the keypad, and hooking your phone into the bluetooth only activates the proximity disarm for the panel. I did all that. My phone is connected. But how do I actually control the panel with my phone?

When I do this steps need company information I don’t know how can do locally
If you don't have the installer / dealer code as demonstrated in the video, you can't change much at all on the system.
