DJI Avata First Flight and Impressions

- Had this for a bit and finally getting out to test it out and talk about it a bit. I definitely need a better mic setup for recording if I am going to do anything like this again.
I actually like seeing the scenery from the drone at a ground level. I actually have reoccurring dreams where I fly this low above ground! So this was really cool to watch! It’s really neat that drones can get under the bridge through the crevices that normally you would never see that perspective.
It’s a fun way to fly, even when not doing really fast it feels fast! That is a cool dream to have as a recurring dream, definitely way better than nightmares. I love being able to get into places I wouldn’t be able to otherwise, it’s fun exploring. I plan on going back to that bridge and looking around more, I can hover and tilt the camera up and down to see different things. Thank you for watching 🙏

Great presentation, you convinced me that I need to buy an Avata (unfortunately, not until next summer)... I'm glad you bought an Avata, I look forward to your videos with that drone!
P.S. Be careful, if you set RTH in case of signal loss, your drone can get stuck in tree branches

Awesome flight, really like the commentary with the review as you are flying. That penetration around that building has always been an issue with my Cinelog 30. Great job and thanks for sharing.
Thanks brother 🙏 I appreciate your comments! Yeah the penetration was super surprising, no break up in my goggles at all! I can get around that building with my Cinelog30 or Cinelog35 but I get breakup in my goggle view and that’s at 1200mw.

I love hearing others love it too! It’s perfect for that kind of flying. I just got back from a really nice flight in and above some trees and just all around. I also flew it on another flight around a huge school and didn’t lose signal, so amazing!

I think so, it’s not so different than any other cinewhoop, maybe in some ways better.
