Baron, if you double click a unit type, it will automatically select all of the same type. Let's say that you want to grab the sappers. Just find one and double click it, and it will select all of your sappers so you can move them with ease

Hey Guys, I have a challenge for Baron in Ravenfield: He must play as different classes of soldiers and say which is his favorite at the end.
(Oh, Baron, remember the Binocs set a point on the map that makes your forces attack there) (also, I am not sure if the recent version of Ravenfield allows you to pick, “no weapon,” if not, just don’t use whatever it defaults to)
Here are the classes (there are 13):
1. Officer: no main weapon, revolver, medic bag, ammo bag, binoculars
2. Vehicle Crewman: no main weapon, pistol, medic bag, binoculars (you must start the game in a vehicle, but can abandon it at anytime)
3. Heavy Fire Support: HMG, no secondary, Ammo bag, Ammo bag, and…. how about an Ammo bag :)
4. Medic: no main weapon, a pistol, and three medic bags (Heal your team, Sir!)
5. Anti-Tank Team: any primary and secondary weapons you want, grenades, any anti-tank weapon you want (meaning any extra item that takes up two spaces).
6. Standard Grunt: your pick, just no anti-tank weapons
7. Assassin: sniper rifle, silenced pistol, spearhead, medic bag, and either binocs, or Night Vision
8. Diplomat: nothing, see how long you survive :)
9. Specialist: Your pick of main weapon and one extra piece of equipment, silenced pistol, and SLAM-R
10. Saboteur: AK as main, silenced pistol, grenades, any Anti-tank weapon (try to sneak behind enemy lines and ambush them)
11. Spec Ops: (yes, I know there is a mode for this) the STEN, silenced pistol, spearhead, Medic bag, you get to choose your last item
12. Close-Quarters Assault: Shotgun, Revolver, Grenades x2, and Spearhead (get up close and personal)
13. The Thief/Troll (of every multiplayer war game ever made): Patriot, Revolver, Airhorns (try to steal enemy vehicles and use them to run over the bots)

Baron, I'm fairly certain that instead of rushing your sappers to place defenses, you can take your time and place them as you like without having to ready up. Then, when you finally press ready, just move the sappers over to the defenses and they will build them. You can save time doing this so you do don't have to individually select them and pick something and place it
What he means is pause the game, place the defenses then walk the sappers over them (doesn't matter who was supposed to build it at this stage)
and stop only using barbed wire there are far more options

ya and humans have been using artillery for close to a thousand years for a reason so use it...
also the AK-47 is in 7.62x39mm the ones used in this game is likely referring to 7.62x51mm used by NATO

Well it's actually shake and BLAKE, but I appreciate being mentioned anyway. I haven't realized until now, that I'm actually a part of Barons brigade. And proud of it!
Please play cities skyline, it's a really fun game
Machine Gunner + Flamethrower would be the most beneficial right now with 352 XP. Other than that you could try to go for Light Helicopter + Bomber/Strike Aircraft, cause the Light Helicopter is almost useless as a unit, they always seems to die before they can deal significant damage.
StardustNotHötzendorf light helicopter is good if used right they are good agains ground targets but useless against flying ones i recommend using AA light or heavy, under it so bugs cant kill it. i use them in my campaign frequently amd they kick ze ass
Buy machinegun and then flamethrower they will mow down the easier bugs you are encountering
read through patch notes and restart campaign please. please. because this is boring to watch recon vehicles be OP and one-shot everything isnt it? (they fixed it in 1.0.0.0.9 patch)

if i was him id ignore everything you said just because of how you said it. And that low level arty isn't good when there is any spread, and the recon doesnt one shot everything and it was only nerfed a bit dont act like it is game breaking.

Please FOR THE LOVE OF PLASTIC ARMY GOD USE ARTY. Especially when the're coming from 1 or 2 general directions they rip through the weaker ground bugs which is everything right now. Just cap the bed room and arty just got 5x more effective.
Plus the recon vehicles have the second longest sight lines which is perfect for arty so use both since you love recon so much.
The bugs have a unit limit just like you only it's more, so if you have 60 that's all you need because that's about your troop limit and once bugs start killing you you've already lost.
well, 7.62 doesn't necessarily mean the round fired by an AK-47 (7.62x39). it could be something like 7.62x51 (aka .308) fired by weapons like the M-14 or the M-60 or 7.62x54 fired by weapons like the mosin-nagant or PKM or 7.62x63 (aka 30-06) fired by weapons like the M1 Garand, Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) or the browning M1919 light machine gun
Devs better fix those bugs so Baron can stop with those bug puns -shivers-

baron for the ready phase u can pause and set all the traps for the sappers then move them and arm the traps also u need more rough plastic u can have 10 refineries it wont help if u don't have the materials so u need to capture more flags and yes I know easier said than done and the flamethrowers need incendiary ammo so u would have to start producing that if u want it
Get the damage multipliers, the anti air, and also you can press X in game to view the radius of the supply trucks and the health of your units and the bug's health.
I think u should get artillery some more its a great counter to land insects u have seen what the howitzer has done to ants haven't u?

IT'S NOT 50 CAL IT'S 12.7 MM.if it was the bugs would die on the first shot.
You need to go down the Air Force tree it is crucial to winning the game once they start upgrading the ground troops.
in the game settings when u play a match against the bugs you can change the max enemies on screen in the campaign.

BARON please go for airships it will be a lot cheaper then getting the mechs or that gi*ANT* tank (lol sorry not sorry) and i really want to see what that can do by itself with some supply airships because something with all those guns should absolutly destroy enemy air troops and your troops have had a hard time shooting them down SO DO SOME KIND OF AIR UNIT
you can queue up things for the sapper to do so you only need one

Like I said from the past 2 videos, you need to unlock all infantry techs to get the mech. Also, you can beat the game with just recons and trucks by rushing the flag near their nest.

Ima say it again, LH and LT's are a really good route to go. Mixing troops in certain ways can really go well. When I mix LH's, sappers, recon vehicles, Supply trucks, and LT's along with regular infantry it works well. I use the riflemen and recon vehicles to kill air units, then I send in the cavalry to Missile the crap out of any ground units. Very effective at giving a "smoke screen" for a good amount of time. Also, heavy tanks will be very good against the current units. They're massively effective against spiders over range, and that's what it seems like the bugs are starting to throw at you. Plus heavy tanks also have a good blast radius from my usage, and because of that you can use it to your advantage by shooting one target that's close to multiple others, and kill all of them or wound most of them and kill some.
I would recommend using the force target option you have to have a group first then tap on a enemy and there will be FOCUSED FIRE!!!!

Situation: It's Sakura season in Japan, and the Hornets are attacking!!! The army is called in to help clear things up.
Humans: 10 Flamethrowers as pest control sprayers
20 machineGunners as crazed tourists
10 Fighter Jets as people with RC planes
10 Heavy helicopters as people with RC helicopters
Insects: 50 Asian Giant Hornets as themselves
This 1 bug is a grass hooper and he is underground ;)
Yes you need to unlock all infantry to unlock mech. But it's worth it! Mechs are beasts, they easily can kill every bug! Also mortar infantry, flamethrowers, grenade launchers is very good at supporting you main guns (mechs, tanks). Some (2-3) snipers also would be good at shooting some smal bugs and they will increase your range of view. So, you should unlock it first.
And also here is some trips, which units you can unlock:
AA vehicles will help you very much against flying enemies.
Ground-attack aircraft is good but you should unlock Spitlead first. 3 of them gives to you absolute control into air, but if you go in solder mode you can very effectivly shoot ground enemies with bottom gun.
Supply helicopters is awesome. It can carry more ammo than trucks and also give it to units faster.
Light and heavy tanks is effective as support units. Battle tanks is even more effective but it also need support.
Gunship is bad, it easily can be knocked by flying enemies and except shooting really dangerous enemies it shoot some small bugs an middle of room.
Bombers is also bad because they extremely expensive in usage (ammo\cost of unit\cost in exp). Artillery can do same damage, and it cheaper.
Armored airship is very cool and effective against ground enemies, but all other helicopters is bad. They spend very quickly all their ammo.
Also press X to win! Oh wait, no. I mean it's very useful button! It shows you HP of all units at battle.

PS: i beat 1-3 home on normal difficulty (4th in progress), i saw all units in battle, and i know what i talking about.

Baron, get yourself some machine gunners, they could be quite the backbone of a stationary defense plan, especially with the bugs swarming mentality of TENNO HEIKA BANZAI and their tendency to pick quantity over quality... and also it'd be quite the blast mowing them down in first person mode... just a suggestion though :)
Baron, just a few tips. If you're worried about prep time, you can just use the pause button at the top left to issue orders. As far as unlocks go, GET SOME AA. For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE get some AA. If you want to get helicopters or any ground attack aircraft, you are gonna need some AA. At this point you may start needing some heavy AA since they're not too far from getting some real tanky flying beetles. After you get some AA, you should get at least the tanks OR the apcs.
Infantry is nice, but you need something a bit more than recon vehicles to support them in your battles.

Too bad you didn't played arti. As for auto-resolve, you really shouldn't want that ! Just put x4 speed ! because in most games, auto-resolve make you lose troops in battle you can win 100% without any lost troops. You win but with loss which you could avoid. Not really good. (but I guess, there should be the option for people not minding loss to speed the game)

12:06 though the AK 47 uses 7.62x39mm, that's not a rifle cartridge, that an intermidiate catridge, like the STGs 8mm kurz, 7.62x51 NATO is a rifle cartirdge, which is used by guns like the G3
The AK-47 uses 7.62x39 while the coaxial on the recon vehicle would be a 7.62×51. The AK uses and intermediate round while that coaxial or M60 or 240 will use the full rifle caliber 7.62x51.
Baron the supply depo like the ones with the crates put you're supply trucks by the supply depo and keep you're units all in range of the trucks u will have INFINITE AMMUNITION, ITS OP!!!!!

hey Baron if you want to use the C-130 to drop the paratroopers click the button that looks like paratroopers jumping out a C-130 that is down at the bottom left corner. Once you click that pick what units you want to paradrop and click the location, then you are done. But first try this in custom battle editor.
There is a bottom at the top of the screen to the left of the timer that will pause the game. You can use this to tell all your units where to so when use unpause all units will move there. this is vary useful for missions that only give 20 seconds of planning time like in capture the flap. another thing in creating armys when selecting unit's you can change there weapon type by selecting 'weapon'. there's nothing to fancy just things like pierce, light, heavy, and more so just take a quick look when you get the time.
If you want to rush a game with the ant mound, try gathering 2 or 3 supply trucks, a lot of troops and vehicles, and a lot of sappers. Rush them to the mound and have the sappers blow up the mound. If you have 10-14 sappers it will be a one hit kill, but it also severely leaves your base open to attack due to the amount of troops it costs to escort the sappers.
Need to capture flags faster. Multiple groups of soldiers work better then one big one. Kitchen and bathroom are main rooms to take 1st. In battle, use some light, piercing, and heavy rounds for rifleman. Switch light to standard after engagement.
I say go for the air units while they are still in lower tear bugs. that way you can get used to managing both ground and air units while its still fairly simple. However if you do that you will need the supply choppers because they act the same as supply trucks just for air units. Also id love to see you take control of an A10 and wreck house.
baron i told u you had to unlock everything before u can get the mech bro and i would like to see advancements in vehicles and aircraft cuz the assault vehicles are good they have fully automatic grenade launcher and 50 cal. oh and one last thing i think you cant retreat your troops is because u need to have ally territory nearby that is not under controll or attack by enemy troops. and luv the vids. ill also keep playing the game to and notify you if i see something interesting. and dont go first person in the little bird helicopter its bad. you should also play playerunknowns battlegrounds ide like to see that unless you already have
Baron make the air strikes with the bugs in air so you all on air fight XD And use anti air tank to cover the base and supply Chopper situ THE truck , and you need to let anti air tank with supply Chopper near the base and supply truck only had 2 of them with the anti air tank to defense base and supply truck near the supply base near some to load the supply easily to defense the base
The A10 is basically what happens when you take the most ridiculous weapon system you can imagine and then strap on engines and wings... =p

Baron, you should REALLY start using the B.W shelters, not only do they protect against flying bugs, they also defend very well against jumping ones, like the grasshoppers.
i have been watching this game for a whiel and is good you to get better vehicles and use the other "suport" for example:
the artillery, the traps, better vehicles and expand territory SLOWLY
When I got this game, I didn't waste time and resources on big boy troops, I just made thousands of light infantry, small ammunition, and supply trucks and all that low tear stuff.
Baron, you should try some air vehicles, maybe try the A-10 could be really fun raining down hell with those missiles. Or maybe the AC-130. :D
if you make a new army and you have armies with less than 30 units that can move at your base if you put the newly created ones in the army that can move then you can move them with the new units. I haven't tested this to see if the number of units effect their ability to move but you could have armies of 1 sitting at your base and throw 29 new units into it and move it into the next room in case of emergency.
I would suggest getting air support, because you only have ground power at the moment.
I also would suggest to use the sappers to place those things that protect units from air attacks, especially when there are many flying units

7.62 on a vehicle is never referring to 7.62x39mm used in Aks... it's 7.62 NATO= 7.62x54 which is the .308 round. Not the AK round..
Baron, if you pause the game during prep. time, you can cue up tasks for your sappers to do. That way, when you un-pause they'll get right to to building the cued up defenses.

Baron You should get some AS stuff to deal with those annoying crickets and lock down some better armor. That way, you can squish the bugs with your treads!

hey Baron to switch weapons in a vehicle you need to press the numbers in which they are arranged. example, when you take control of a soldier you have the 1st weapon but when you press 2 you get the second weapon
I have a story one day a family went to a vacation trip and the army men got out of there container and made a base and produce there soldiers and a deacon team search the backyard then they found a hill then they radioed the command center then the game begins they battled each other and at the end the army men were victorious and bombarded the ant hill and the family was back from vacation and the dad and mom and there son found the dead bugs all over the house and army men too then they cleaned the house and the son collected he’s toy soldiers and saw extra men tanks and planes and he told he’s parents about it and they said they he can keep the extras and they wondered what happened while they were out of the house
baron it dosent work that way i think you gotta unlock the middle row then the mech will be available like the machinegun flamethrower and Grenade Launcher try to unlock thoose then the mech with probably be unlocked if not the gl on getting it
Oh and another thing if you pause the game within the prep time you can order all your defenses you want and then have your sappers run over them literary and they will build them, kinda cheaty but useful in a time crunch
Baron how thick-headed are you? If you don't have a lot of time to prep, just pause and you can do it all without having to worry about time running out.
Baron i think you NEED to get aircraft and the machine gun next so that you can properly dig in a defend an area and can defend the sky's get rid off those flying units quicker
If you pause the game you can set up all your defences, just need to make sure to have your sapper walk over it and build it. gives you more time to think =)

You are making the same mistake the French/brits did in the beginning of WWII. You are dispersing your armored vehicles and using them for defense
you dont know anything what if they had extremely strong guys what if you forgot about ammo for a couple turns run out of it and they kill you you don't know so a auto resolve option wouldn't be best

A10 machine gun was made before we even had the plane, we built a plane around it cuz of the sheer power of the seven barreled mini gun, the gun is so powerful it slowed down the plane when fired
what you should do is a custom battle of mostly aircraft like fighter jets and attack helicopters vs a lot of bug aircraft and if you need it a little ground troops but i wanna see fighter jets
