@@bkjeong4302 I’ve encountered bowfin at 3 different locations so far. They can be shockingly extremely shy to someone in the water trying to take there picture. A real shame because they are such a cool fish
It’s been a lot of challenges and a lot of fun making this! There has been very little study/exploration in probably some of the most accessible waters. The goal is to make a guide for others to follow in my footsteps
@@teambush706 episodes 2 (Clinton River) and 3 (Belle River) are filmed just gotta work on animations and the script Not sure what I’m gonna do for 4 but got a few ideas that all just need a loose end or two to sort out (such as filming every species of aquatic turtle in Michigan I need 2 more)

Saw my first bowfin at Pinery and later in some other parts, though they somehow disappear come late summer. One of my favourite fishes.
