2:03 The way you’re going to be judged as a good CEO, a good business owner, a good entrepreneur = do you have profit? At the end of the day, a CEO needs to have profit to run and expand the company. 3:05 To make that profit, the CEO is responsible for strategy and action in 4 key areas: marketing, sales, delivery, and management. 6:20 Accounting and profit/loss statement, legal documents, make sure your retail merchant’s license is in place and current. You are the CEO - that’s what you do.
4:00 Work ON the business vs. IN the business = CEO sits above all the other executives (director/VP of: marketing, sales, delivery, administration) telling them what to do and running them on their strategies and action plans. Thank you, as a CEO... It takes your entire life and no one should be jealous of the money we make because it cannot compare to the commitment in securing your team bread on their table daily. God bless all CEOs
Nobody's jealous, and your commitment is not "incomparable". Most of you wouldn't make it on the warehouse floor of the companies you claim to be dedicated to more than anybody. You're just profiting off the labor of others. You don't deserve the wages of 1000X your employees.

Apparently whatever they do it’s worth 10 million times the average employee for some reason and they can never cut their personal wealth to increase profits they would rather destroy employees lives that make 30k a year
I have to say, as a CEO, who does make the most in the company, but who also pays employees very well, very competitively, with the best benefits possible, my job is to make sure my people have a job. That is a huge constant life-sucking responsibility that I take more seriously than my own success. Holding such a complex machine together and making it run is no joke. I don't have a 9 to 5. I have an everyday, all day, eat, drink, and bleed my company. In fact, if you took my salary and divided it by the number of hours I actually work, I probably make less hourly than my employees. That being said, I believe I'm an exception to the rule. Ridiculously paid leadership does exist. Capitalism at its worst exists everywhere. But, holy moly, CEOs work their butts off and carry heavy responsibility with heavy consequences.

For whoever is curious, a 5% compound interest on $100 per month for 20 years does get you $12,173,957.37. However, that would be for a monthly interest which 5% is extremely high and that amount does not account for inflation. Edit: Accounting for inflation this amount would be worth $4,424,016.23 but again that kind of interest would be a bit optimistic.
@@MatterhornBusinessDevelopment that's weird because noone I work with has ever met the ceo. Also, he's not capable of doing my job so how would he know? Seems kinda useless to me.
@@coaldoubt2879 that's like saying a general is useless because they are not fighting on the battlefield, you can't make anything work by just having the raw work power without any planning or management

This is something I wanted to know. Thanks for sharing 👍
I want to be a CEO so that i can make so much money to live the life i want, invest and grow.
So sick of poverty 😢

Can you give a recommendation list of books?
I found out today I wasn't a CEO, with this knowledge. I now know my Blue collar shop work, does not constitute a CEO position.

There's a bug difference between a small family owned business and a corporation run by investors. Don't think a CEO is just a corporation
A ceo is responsible for the decisions of succeeding and failing of a company
Well loyalty matters shawty.

Yeah, but a C.E.O. still will screw his employees before he cuts his own bonus or salary. What the comment was implying. Big companies, especially.

What is a CEO
That’s exactly how to become an average ceo
So the goal of a CEO is to NOT be a worker because fuck the workers, right?
The CEO is there to make sure the workers and employees CAN do their jobs and make sure the company is there into the future
@@MatterhornBusinessDevelopment that's weird because noone I work with has ever met the ceo.

Well it sounds like you have never worked for a good CEO

Are CEOs Owners? Or Higher Appointed Position of Authority of a Company?
It depends on the type of company, what business they're in, and how big they are
I like him
so you basically just tell people what to do and lean back.
CEO is the one fncking up the staff.
❤
What does a ceo do? Get overpaid and pay all staff poverty wages and tell them to get on government assistance.
This is just a very long way to say they do nothing.
Easy Question. The answer is nothing.
Fun at worlk
