Thanks, I was hoping someone would notice! I had a poster of this when I was a kid and always loved it. I came across this banner on eBay and had to have it!
@@AJStarch of course. I’m an old school skater punk whose dad was an old drag racer. I grew up loving rockabilly and 50’s and 60’s hotrod and kustom kulture. And most of what was adjacent. I feel you are probably close to the same without all the pretentiousness.
@@sickcoy13 haha, yeah kindred spirits I guess. I still love skateboarding, my dad did a little drag racing but was mostly just in to old cars and I’ve always loved 50’s & 60’s music and culture. I’m still big into surf rock, punk and rockabilly music. I grew up around hot rods, kustoms, muscle cars and old timer hot rodders so I’ve always been into them in a big way. I think my big hook happened in 1973 when I saw American Graffiti at a drive in when I was 7. I still rewatch it 2 or 3 times a year!
That "K" plug is probably a repair/replacement for stripped/damaged threads. Don't remember that style drain plug on my '52 8BA. You're going to want to go with adjustable lifters.
Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too. I think the “wire” I found in the pan were from the plug cutting its new threads. The bad thing is that it only really engages the last 4 or 5 threads. I might have to see if I can replace it with an even larger one.
Man it is fighting back.😮 Hope you can save the engine. 🤞
It’s looking savable so far but it will definitely need bored out.
I like your front plate!
Haha, thanks, did it work?!
Killer Robert Williams print.

@@AJStarch The drain plug in my '47 Tudor Sedan is around 2" in diameter! Made a special wrench for it.
