If you have ridden bikes without a slipper clutch extensively, then rev matching becomes second nature and there's no need for a slipper clutch. We drive manual cars just fine and they don't have any sort of slipping mechanism built in the clutch. Unless you are banging down the gears really hard on a racetrack, a slipper clutch is not needed. That being said sometimes having a slipper clutch can also mean a lighter clutch feel which may be a boon.

The slipper clutch is average compared to the top notch bikes but it's still better than having none of it . The gears are precise though. But sometimes downshifting from 2 to 1 you have to apply extra force or it may fall in Neutral
People often complain about the TVS's headlight and honestly speaking even I hated it when I saw the images for the first time, but that the best-looking headlight in person. the only complain are from those drls only if they didn't look so plasticky in daylight.
There is no point for this Comparison. What TVS is offering in 200 4v is exemplary. And even in 160 4V. No bike can match 200 4v in that price range. If you are ok with that rider position that these bikes 200 4v and 160 4v offer then it should be no brainer for you in this price point to go with one of those. It is like what Yamaha has offered in R15 V3.
What a biased comparison ... though apache is better than hornet in many aspects but that 0-60 acceleration data was non sense ....hornet covers 0-60 is less than 3.5 seconds there are many live videos on youtube and this is the fastest in this segment ..... moreover hornet gets wider tyres than both apache and NS and that too high profile tyres.
In my opinion, the only drawback of this apache 200 v4 21 is the looks of the Head light an the split seat. It dosent look nice. Others are perfect with all the rich features, good engine power, Bhp, Torque, good ground clearance, mileage, good grip tvs tyres.

There a oil leakage issue .... back suspension is very hard seriously.. harder than duke....There is runout problem of wheels in front and back wheels... people cant notice it.... While driving if u leave the handle it goes on to the left side.. the allignment issue . .back brake is waste...no use.. fuel indicator doesnot work properly.. once it shows 3points again it shows single point... god only knows why? This is bike that costs1,50,000 ...felt like waste... better to go for low end bikes at least u can save some money... fuel price is also increasing...mileage is also 40kmph not that greate..But lowend and mid end torque is very Good that is the only likeable thing.... remaining all worst.

Hornet is good at cornering as it have upside down golden forks and also have wider tyres than Apache.. But if you want a power machine go with rtr or ns 200.hornet is not a 200 cc bike🙂
You didn't mention the slipper clutch and exhaust note on the RTR. Engine is noisier due to 4 valves compare to 2 valves on hornet. In fact RTR engine is more advanced and reliable.
Go for hornet. Its more practical than apache. TVS may offer more features in less price but the service is pathetic in big cities like surat. Purchased tvs victor in 2018 and sold in 2019 with loss of 25k. Any service center could not repair my bike even the main engg who works on 310RR. And the most important thing is center of gravity . COG is tilted towards front in hornet which gives confidence while riding and service and reliability of honda is never an issue
RTR200 is an unbelievable value n Hornet is not even close in the same price point!.. Until the rider is 6 feet tall n above.. RTR200 is the best choice in its price point... Taller riders can't fit into RTR n therefore have to look for other options.. n my pick that case would be the Yamaha FZ25.. as it is the next cheapest dual channel ABS equipped comparable machine.. not considering the RS200 n R15 here 🤞

And what I see is people in Maharashtra are the only ones having major issues. He faced one minor issue with brake bad but that was solved by cleaning the brake pads.

Such underpowered bikes with no 6th gear will give low mileage in highways. RPMs will be high at 90 to 100kmph and engine will be stressed. My duke 200 gives me 19kmpl on highways but 32kmpl in the city. My duke 390 on the other hand gives by 30kmpl on the highway.

There's a huge, nearly 10kmpl mileage difference between them. Hornet is surprisingly fuel efficient. I think that needs to be mentioned too.
Apache has slipper clutch, adjustable suspensions, riding modes, more power. hornet can not compensate that with mileage alone.

HELO im from indonesia, Are you ever see HONDA CB150R ? that is naked.. N its Look better cooler than thats 2 bike .. N can we ask why in india almost bike is fat at undertail? Big n fat at stop lamp.. N its super ugly..
We are waiting for honda to launch that DOHC engine in India no matter what name they give , but honda isn't paying attention to the customer in india , I saw many quality issues in hondas now a days .
Now answering your question , in india bikes have fatter tail section , as they focus towards pillion comfort and as an old trend female pillion sits keeping both legs together to the left side so the manufacturers need to think of that too.
