Thanks, Nico; just picked up my RZ again after a year of inactivity, and this video helped refresh everything.

Thank you. Screwed up my first film load on this and ended up with a neg that my scanner could not read. I did not know about the arrow at the back of the film. I inherited the camera with a pile of Kodak film, and want make best use of it.

+Gavin du Venage Yeah, if one is not used to medium format film it can be a bit tricky. You also check this video for other things to look out for with 120 film ruclips.net/video/cIPMVenmxFE/видео.html

Hi. I. Have an RZ67 that will not advance to the second exposure. I can load the film and advance it to the number 1 on the film back and take the first picture. Then when I go to advance the film to the second exposure. The lever moves and everything resets except the film does not advance. So I’m wondering if maybe I’m loading wrong or if I’m missing something. Please help if possible

hello nico! while loading my last roll of 120, i accidentally missed the horizontal arrow and kept loading until i started to see the horizontal arrows on the backing paper. is it possible that this caused the roll to come back completely empty after i sent it to the lab? thanks.

thanks for your video- just got my RZ67- once you get to the end of the roll of 120 film (taken last/10th exposure) can you open the back immediately (and the film is already ready for removing as is for processing) or do you need to wind it more or rewind it somehow to ensure no film is exposed when opneing the back and removing the film for processing? Thank you

+justinspirational im glad the video helped. When I come to the last exposure I shoot, wind and it feels like its done, but i do wind a few times. As it was the last shot it lets you just wind the find without having to hit the shutter. Just a few strokes and it makes me feel safe. But it does seem as you could be safe just doing one stroke. But better safe than sorry. Hope you enjoy the RZ67, its probably my favorite medium format camera. Let me know if you have any other doubts.

+justinspirational Its big but so worth it. The rotating back is amazing to change from portrait to landscape. Also the bellows allow you to get up close, just dont forget to compensate exposure if you do. ;)

Can you help me? When I try loading my RZ after a couple of rotations it gets hard to cock the lever. Then once I shoot the first or second frame & try to advance to the next shot, the cocking lever stops half way. It makes a loud ratcheting noise & it gets hard to push down. It doesn’t even move the film because the manual circle winder on the film back doesn’t move at all.

Sorry to hear that. It could be that either you are loading it wrong or something is wrong with the camera. Follow both the video here or the manual to make sure you dont have the first issue. And if it doesnt get better maybe it need an overhaul. Hope you can get it up and running soon.

Nicos Photography Show thank you for the help! I got both the back and the body from KEH so I’d just exchange it. Was just wondering if it was my fault. I have an RB & everything’s fine with that one when I load it so I think it’s the body.

Then it must be some issue with the camera. Loading is 99% the same as the Mamiya RB or so I would say.
