I was diagnosed diabetic 10/27/22 with A1C @ 7.0! 6 weeks later I had dropped 33lbs and A1C dropped to 5.5! I just had my 3 month check up yesterday. I’ve lost a total of 49lbs and my A1C has dropped to 5.1! Also my fasting blood sugar is averaging between 80 and 98. I am currently on Metformin x2 and Jardiance. I know I have a long way to go, but I’m proud of how seriously I’m taking this and working hard toward reversing my diabetes! I feel blessed I was diagnosed early enough to do something about it!

Kiwi, pears, oranges, strawberry avocado, grapefruit, guava, jamun , cherries, apples ! These are the 10 fruits ! But keep control on quantity consumed at a time.

@@catherinestgermain3362 That's good! You can make it greater by performing some resistive(weight training) with light to moderate weights. You don't need a gym, you just need a pair of adjustable dumbbells or a Dumbbell set and an area to workout

Thank you for this very vital info. Most of these fruits are already well known to many diabetic patients. But it serves to be reminded from time to time. Great Service Brother.
If your diabetic avoid fruits too if possible. If you can’t it’s important to eat just a very small serving. The best and most controversial way to control diabetes is to go either healthy low carb or clean keto. A safer and more popular way is to go clean eating avoiding anything processed and keeping everything balanced. 😊
@akiikig4149 yes its good to be metabolically flexible….. but if you are already metabolically compromised or just are hypersensitive to carbs then a more extreme approach may be needed.👍🏼
I make it summarize for all of you. 1).Apple 2) Cherries , 3) Black Plums 4) Guava 5) Grapefruit 6) Avocado 7) Strawberry 8) Oranges 9) Pears 10) Kiwi Fruit
Very good to know that Guava is very good. This fruit is native of the my region, Central Brazil. The avocado slow my cholesterol and in many months I didn't more drugs.
It is not only the valuable information that counts here but also the manner in which these fruits have been displyed here was a beauty to watch. Viewers will feel like plucking the fruits from the tree itself. These are the invaluable tips for diabetic patients. They will be immensely benefitted by this. Diabetic patients can now take a sigh of relief !
We often have more than enough potassium from all the various foods we eat so no need to overload on potassium, it could create other health problems such as kidney disease resulting from diabetes. Avocados are worse and should not be eaten by ppl who have diabetes that cause onset of kidney problems. Diabetics need to also control consumption of phosphorous, potassium, and protein so as not to cause an onset of other health problems such as kidney problems. Your best bet is to consult a nutritionist and learn about eating for diabetics and any other health problems like kidney, liver, hypertension, etc - should not rely on RUclips with questionable source data and credentials as truth.
What I find ironic is how people question fruit and find all these excuses to not eat fruit something natural but will take chemical meds in a snap without question
It is strange that the list of good fruits for diabetics by different experts vary quite significantly from each other. Why is it so difficult to reach a consensus among them to come out a final list that could benefit the diabetics? In this program, strawberry, grapefruit and cherries are recommended, but elsewhere they are not.
It's absolutely awesome how many tasty and healthy fruits that God has given us. Cherries are my number one fruit. It's like all natural candy that won't mess up your blood sugar.
@@mandograssable So far, every source I've read says they're relatively low on the glycemic index. They've never given me any trouble anyway. But I don't eat a lot of them at one time. And cherries have plenty of other health benefits too.
