This looks like MRM and the definition of meat is very broad. So it could be 90% hooves, or nostrils etc. Probably ok for nutrition, just do not think too much about it.

Thanks for keeping us informed of your exploits to the various shops you visited during the last year, thank you for your culinary skills, and for your unbiased food tasting sessions which have on quite few occasions brought laughter and smiles into our London household . When I first worked in the Netherlands I was asked if I wanted a coffee and my colleague asked how I wanted it. "White please." I replied and he gave me a funny look. Nevertheless he grabbed the bottle of UHT milk and poured it in the coffee. My look on tastig it said it all and he said "That's why we have it black."
Over the weeks and months I never had it white again and appreciate really dark, thick, black coffee now. Like the Dutch have it, thick enough to stand a spoon up in. I am a totally milk-free coffee drinker now.

I went to Lidl tonight. I actually bought 4 fresh burgers because I'm a Lidl card holder and get a discount. For supper I made a burger. And yes, I added cheese, pickles and some piri piri mayo. Scrumptious.
Everyone's taste is different. So I'm not saying it's for you. Instead of the airfryer I cooked them in the pan with a tiny amount of lard. They were juicy and full of flavour.
I'm not saying that the Iceland ones are better or worse than fresh. It's all up to the buyer.
Iceland? No fat in the pan. Fresh Lidl? No fat in the pan either. Maybe it's psychological, but I prefer the fresh product over frozen.

Iceland's own 4 x Aberdeen Angus 1/4lb burgers are the best I've ever had from any supermarket. I last bought 2 x packs of them three weeks ago, and they were £3.50 instead of the normal £4. @@calvinwilliams7541 Why ? Because these are frozen and can be cooked from frozen and bought in advance and kept in the freezer for whenever you want them but to make them fresh you'd have to either know you'd want them and buy the mince in advance or if you have frozen mince you have to wait for it to defrost but if you just want a spur of the moment burger these look perfect.

You can't really have an unprocessed burger.

I bought some of these and had one the other day. I didn't think they were anything special but was impressed with the size as I prefer a flatter burger and the flavour was good.. To be honest, I did them under a conventional grill and I think there are better ways to cook them. I'm going to pan fry the next one to see if I can get a bit of a crust on as that's what smashed burgers are supposed to be like.

Ive had these and one thing imcan really say that you need to do with these, keep em out the airfryer and use a castiron pan, the whole smash thing is to achieve a really crispy exterior and moist interior which, cant be achieved in the airfryer. Don't use coconut oil or avocado oil nor olive oil use either dripping lard bacon grease or rapeseed , then you have a true smash burger

Good one, your wife bought a good make brioche, I think maybe the best ones. I find a burger slides down much better with a brioche bun .
You and family have a great xmas. 🎁🎈😊👍

Have you reviewed the steak burgers from Saintsbury? They are my go to especially for the barby. The last time I had them I cut them in half and put some onion and red Leicester inside. Give them a try and put them on here if you haven't already 👍👌💯💚💛❤️
