I'm definitely going to try these Gareth thankyou for the review😊 You spend as much time with your children and wife we will all still be here waiting for your reviews after Christmas ❤ Merry Christmas 🎄 and a happy healthy wealthy New to you all you and your family ❤
This looks like MRM and the definition of meat is very broad. So it could be 90% hooves, or nostrils etc. Probably ok for nutrition, just do not think too much about it.
Gareth, wishing you and your family a Very Happy Christmas and a great New Year. Thanks for keeping us informed of your exploits to the various shops you visited during the last year, thank you for your culinary skills, and for your unbiased food tasting sessions which have on quite few occasions brought laughter and smiles into our London household . Thanks again Gareth and thanks to your Mrs for allowing you to spend so much time in front of the camera.
Dear BFG wishing you and your family a safe & super merry Christmas ! Don't get me wrong but 4 quarter p ,,,is that not 1 pound in Wight not 460 grams ??? 😂😂😂❤❤❤
'I'll start marching out the back in a minute!' 😂 I don't know why I laughed at that. Looks like you enjoyed the burgers. Have a great time with your kids, they soon grow up 🎄
You make. Me smile Gareth and although I don't eat burgers, they looked really tasty. Maybe cos it's 2.40am and I just can't get to sleep. Keep up the good work x
Im gonna buy some of these tonight cheers for the review. Never had a smashed burger before, cheese lettuce and onion going on mine with chips. Have a great Christmas with your family Gareth all the very best.
When I first worked in the Netherlands I was asked if I wanted a coffee and my colleague asked how I wanted it. "White please." I replied and he gave me a funny look. Nevertheless he grabbed the bottle of UHT milk and poured it in the coffee. My look on tastig it said it all and he said "That's why we have it black." Over the weeks and months I never had it white again and appreciate really dark, thick, black coffee now. Like the Dutch have it, thick enough to stand a spoon up in. I am a totally milk-free coffee drinker now.
i watched your video making sausage rolls you had me in stitches tears in my eyes looked like a sketch from benny hill. keep up the good work all the best to you and your family for xmas. Bigphil.
Nice one Gaz, that's making me fancy a double patty bacon cheese smashburger. I make them pretty frequently. You can just about still get mince with a sufficient fat content. Have a lovely Christmas and thanks for the laughs and inspiration!
Merry Christmas to you and family Gaz thank you for a fantastic year of top draw content it’s been spot on mate Wishing you all the the best now as we are in Japan at present for festive fun 😊🙏🇯🇵🎄🌲
I went to Lidl tonight. I actually bought 4 fresh burgers because I'm a Lidl card holder and get a discount. For supper I made a burger. And yes, I added cheese, pickles and some piri piri mayo. Scrumptious. Everyone's taste is different. So I'm not saying it's for you. Instead of the airfryer I cooked them in the pan with a tiny amount of lard. They were juicy and full of flavour. I'm not saying that the Iceland ones are better or worse than fresh. It's all up to the buyer. Iceland? No fat in the pan. Fresh Lidl? No fat in the pan either. Maybe it's psychological, but I prefer the fresh product over frozen.
It's nice to see a burger keep it's shape and not shrink to the size of a tiddlywink. I have had these and loved them. Had some salad with mine and the same buns you had. Was amazingly good and tasty and a great texture. I'd give it a solid 9-10 for sure and would get them again for sure. Great video. Merry Christmas to you and your family and all your foodies.....
Very nice mate. Straight away I was thinking do the burgers have gristle in them which I really dislike but you said no gristle so I probably would enjoy those. The hamburger buns are very nice. I've bought those before. I need one now I've watched your video. 😊.
Iceland's own 4 x Aberdeen Angus 1/4lb burgers are the best I've ever had from any supermarket. I last bought 2 x packs of them three weeks ago, and they were £3.50 instead of the normal £4. Strangely, their pack of two 1/2lb Aberdeen Angus burgers have always been £5, even though they weigh the same overall.
Hi Gareth, Totally agree with u Total Respect for all in the falklands war ……… And I bet you never thought 20 years later you would be married with beautiful twin girls & I bet u are thinking best thing that has ever happened to me Thanks for trying the burgers & I must say they looked so nice all the best Lin 👍🙂⭐️ Gareth please don’t worry about getting videos out on time just enjoy your family more important
Thanks for all the work you do for you viewers .and Merry Christmas and happy new year to yourself ,wife ,kids and all family have a good one 🎊.scotland
You’re right. Everything shrinks when cold or frozen 😂 Seriously tho. You’re great cos you pop in special personal bits, things like having a break for your family, or experiences in the forces. Glad you enjoyed them but a smash burger is much thinner and you would only need about 3 oz. They came about during the 1930's depression and you would add a lot of sliced onions with them to bulk the burger out. Great video
Been trying to gets these but always out of stock :( do love a good smash burger and this one is up there from most shops what I've seen. nice review 👍
The best minced beef to use for burgers is 80/20 mince. Fortunately it is the cheapest mince you can buy at £2.49 a 500g pack. Just form it into patties and fry them. Much cheaper and no additives !!!!!!!
These look "smashing", i bet they taste great too! You made me want a burger, so i chucked a _Rustlers_ Quarter Pounder in the microwave. Never apologise for wanting to spend time with family mate. You only get one chance at life, make it count. Merry Christmas from mine to yours.
It looks nice, unfortunately Iceland is no longer here in Ireland,I do miss it.I do try the food out when I go over to uk so thanks again for the review.
I want a burger! I have watched a couple of your videos and really enjoy them, thank you. I would like to know, do you do negative reviews? Or are you just trying srtuff that people recommend? (so probably positive)
Only finished a late breakfast but had a 1/2 pounder last night .Filling it was and messy and better use protection as a landslide down your front would be nice.
Why would anyone buy frozen smash burgers? Simply buy some 80/20 ground beef mince add salt and pepper, roll a good handful into a ball ,put in frying pan and flated. Done in less than 10 min
@@calvinwilliams7541 Why ? Because these are frozen and can be cooked from frozen and bought in advance and kept in the freezer for whenever you want them but to make them fresh you'd have to either know you'd want them and buy the mince in advance or if you have frozen mince you have to wait for it to defrost but if you just want a spur of the moment burger these look perfect.

The Falklands you say ! My nephew is there now and will be having Chrismas there as well, hes a Fireman in the RAF, can wait to see him in the new year when hes back

Aye in shock rjah
Lol thats how food lasts longer 😂 simple fact if life
i see 7 ingredients

Hi Gareth, I had two of those burgers for my tea last night, they are nice, enjoy mate Take care🤤😋🍔🍔👍
All the best mate 👍
Only two?; I devoured 4 of those filled with Red Onions, Iceberg Lettuce, Jalapeños, Tomatoes, and Tomato Relish.
@@FART-REPELLENT Nice, I can do four, but there was a trough of cheesy chips with bacon bits, plus my wife and son wanted one as well

My grandson would love that will buy a packet this weekend for his tea with wedges. Thanks. ❤
They look good. I don't like fat burgers, I prefer them thinner, so I will give them a try. Thanks for sharing
The thumbnail cracked me up! 🤣🤣🤣
I've been laughing at it all day 😂😂

I think they would be even better fried in the pan with a load of fried onions.

not from frozen

100%. Can't beat well seasoned 80/20 smashed onto a hot griddle with good o'l American cheese or patties made using a tortilla press
