$4 is what I already pay for a single sausage roll that lasts one meal, it's a small price to pay for a quality music player that you will end up using regularly for the life of your phone.

Greatest music player of all time... I've been using it since 2009 with the original Nokia N70 (yes! A Symbian version of powerAMP existed) and was super powerful(sound wise) and customizable just like it has always been. The EQ it had was exactly the same if not slightly different from the android version.
The UI of that small EQ visualization spectrum on the 2019 version was just the same as the EQ spectrum that was there back in 2009 app. In 2010 i then switched to iPhone but couldn't find powerAMP in the APP store.. I then switched back to Nokia 801 running Symbian belle, and again there was no support for the belle OS by powerAMP. It would install but wouldn't run. Then i went android(was a die hard Nokia fun🤣) to Samsung. Wanted to go back to iPhone and they announced their stupid courage of removing the headphone jack😤
Luckily something special arrived... The LG v Series lineup!!! This changed everything in the smartphone Audio(For Audio Enthusiasts Only though) @JuanBagnell knows what I'm talking about. With powerAMP + LG, all is well in smartphone audio...(undisputed). So sad to hear the rumors about lack of headphone jack on the galaxy NOTE 10....
I too am somewhat of an OG, I started using it in 2012 on a LG Ally running android 2.2 😆 now on my Pixel 7 Pro I have both the music player and the system EQ app Poweramp makes so I can use their EQ with Spotify.
There are a few apps which stand out among all the rest, and for all times. For backups, it's Titanium Backup. The absolute best BU app EVER! For Launchers, it's Nova Launcher. SAME! And for music player, it's always been PowerAmp! Good vid Vic. Keep it up.
Honestly it's far better than I thought I'd ever find for Android. The visualizations are phenomenal, options and organization are all stellar. The only thing that could make it better would be if you could cast direct the visulizer and music to smart tvs. Probably the most worthwhile purchase I've ever made.
I have just discovered that you can cast your music to a smart tv using that app.

I dunno if there's ever goinu be another music player app for android that can surpass Poweramp. The bass feature is ma gig. With the bass tuned to abuh 50% alongside any good earphone like Samsung earbuds or Apple's earpods, you're goin' straight to cloud9 in music 😃😃😃😃. #BestMediaPlayerEver

What music app works good with PowerAmp? I use RUclips music and PowerAmp doesn't recognize all the music I have on RUclips music. Advice?
Been using this for years! My only issue is that it doesn't really integrate with streaming services like Spotify, even if I download my playlist.
Yeah that maybe true, but for locally stored music it is for me at least by far the best app ive ever used... I only look for a way now to use it as a Upnp streamer
I like VLC media player for movies so I added Poweramp Equalizer to it and hit the WOW! factor. I'm very pleased with this duet.

itunes is garbage now: had to stop synching music to my ipod classic because Apple Music does not support that device anymore as of almost 2 years ago now. Plus it's a nightmare on my MacBook Air
I can still synch and organize my albums but finally got a micro sd card to put into my Android phone (WILL NEVER buy an iphone!) Hoping this app will work for me.

the new update completely revamps the traditional equalizer. its a bit daunting at first but its really great when you get the nack of it.

The sound quality in this application is poor, but the settings of this application and file support does not have an application that competes

The control is on the left side right below the "thumb up" icon (once you are playing a track) and NOT in the settings as you might expect (and where it prob belongs!). The button cycles through the 3 versions of the visualisation - inc OFF.

nothing, because Apple hate "mp3" files, they think only money, so you must download spotify, Joox and Apple Music, and you subcribe to them

easy go to settings to find the library and locate the song storage then rescan

Poweramp and neutron can really just come down to personal preference. Both are good. It comes down to what you want in your audio. I like that neutron allows you to completely tune your audio.

When first setting this up, am I supposed to select folders in settings or hit re scan so it can see and access my music files? I just don't want it to erase any of my music, lol... so I don't want to hit the wrong button (is that possible?) I want it to play music at the same time I am listening to my audiobooks. Can I do that?
don't worry about losing any of your music. If you don't know already, you can always go into settings and select media folders. They're on your phone, not in the app
