I really love the glimpse into everyday van life. Even on a relaxed weekend early season there’s interesting jobs to be done. It’s great getting an insight into different sites and their pros and cons. Any chance of a vid describing the essential van tool box?

Thank you. One essential may have been a ladder 😉 Most people carry fuses, screwdrivers, gorilla tape etc but it always seems to be the thing you need is missing!

Hi. I have the same Motorhome as you, but in the B class version. I noticed the damage to your habitation door and panel on your latest video. Can I ask how it happened and your plans for repair? Just in case I experience the same problem.

We hit a bollard which was painted grey the same colour as the tarmac at the entrance to an aire in France! It was virtually invisible. 😩 Haven’t quite worked out how to fix it yet. It’s just a scuff thankfully not a dent so that should polish out but the door catch might be more of an issue as it ripped the screws out and I suspect another might not fit back in the same holes. Maybe some Sikaflex?! I’ll let you know when we get around to fixing it! Thanks for watching and enjoy your Hymer. If you’re not already a member it’s worth joining the Hymer owners group on Facebook they’re a friendly bunch full of practical tips.
