WOW .. Alexandra, you had a lot of long tongue-twisters there, a lot of Prince and Princesses of Jordan.. And not forgetting all the foreign Royals and Dignitaries.. WOW
The Wedding was spectacular and the Bride look absolutely gorgeous.
I think you might need a lie-down after this post.
Heartiest best wishes from Wales.
Hello Sally Ann! I hope all is well with you! 🙂
The royal wedding was simply incredible, beautiful, traditional... I loved it.
HRH Crown Princess Rajwa made an absolute beautiful and radiant bride. HRH Crown Prince Hussein made an extremely happy groom, the wedding looked lovely. Congratulations to the Happy couple.
Very beautiful wedding. I watched some parts of the wedding, and I can sense the warmth and happiness at the event. So far, I have never heard anything negative about the Jordanian royal family because the family has a history for being humble and kind to humanity. May God bless this royal family, and I hope the bride and groom will continue passing on goodness to their their children and so forth.
They do seem quite happy together!
Browse through the comments and replies below and will see how much drama there is within the family...
Princess Muna was so pretty at the wedding.
I concur! 🙂
WOW!!! You knocked it out of the Park! Amazing event, very beautiful, and EVERYBODY was there! So glad to see your excellent reportage. Thank You Alexandra!!!
My pleasure, Booka! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the episode! Wishing you a wonderful day!🙂
Beautiful!
Wow! The Foreign Language Institute would be proud of you!😊 I thought Rawja's dress was superb! She was beautiful. What a power house of a family now. Queen Rania is from Kuwait and a former Palestinian and now Rawja is a second cousin of the King of Saudia Arabia (Her mother is a cousin of the King). Jordan is now a big player at the table. Did you notice that Queen Mathilde and Princess Beatrice wore the same dress? Mathilde to the ceremony and Beatrice to the reception party. You would think the design house would have made a note in their customer service files (trust me, the design house documents every haute coulture designed dress- the who, what, and where) that there were two royals wearing the same design to the same event. Shame on the design house-huge fashion faux paus. Especially at the price for haute coulture! Good job with the video. You researched a bit for this because you had video footage that I had not seen before. ........that's why I like your channel!
That wasn't Queen Mathilde who wore the same outfit with Princess Beatrice (as Queen Mathilde of the Belgians, wasn't in attendance), that was actually Princess Aisha Al Hussein of Jordan, the groom's aunt and the King's sister.😊
Queen Mathilde did not attend the wedding. Her daughter did.
Thank you, Shiloh! 🙂
@@johnsonrhythm3166 Yes. Thank you for the correction. That still does not change that fact that two people wore the same haute couture dress to the event. The design house should have caught this in their customer service data base. These women pay a fortune for exclusivity to wear one of a kind designs.
@@singing-sands You are correct. Thank you for the correction. But unfortunately two women wore the same haute culture dress to a high profile event.
I don't think I have seen a happier or more excited groom. These ladies all looked exquisite in their beautiful, colorful and modest gowns.
Wow, great job with all the names and titles!
Excellent video! Thank you! I just came to say I am beyond impressed with all of the pronunciations you did!
Thank you, Holly! 🙂
The wedding was absolutely beautiful, the reception and banquet were amazing, I didn't see that coming.
I watched the wedding and followed the proceeding live, so I can agree with you Alexandra, it was indeed one of the best royal weddings ever.
Thanks for this review, it was "a lot" indeed, but worth it, totally! 😂😊❤
Aw, thank you so much, Johnson!🙂
@@TheRoyalCorrespondent You're very welcome 🤗.
You're brilliant. Thanks so much.
You're very welcome!🙂
Thank You for a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed seeing the wedding through your eyes. It was a stunning presentation 🤗
Thank you, Chequita!🙂
The dress that Katherine wore to the wedding ceremony took my breath away! It was possibly the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen. The texture, pattern and intricacies of the dress were just so elegant. The dress she wore to the banquet was beautiful too but possibly just another blingy dress but the wedding one was a work of art. Of course, as we all know (and envy) Kate could wear a burlap bag and look good! Thanks for this special Alexandra. Beautiful wedding. I just loved Rajwa's banquet dress also, she really looked like a fairy princess in it just like a fairy tale Princess! She will be as classy a Queen as Rania.
I concur, Sunny! 🙂
Great coverage, Alexandra!!!
I loved the most beautiful wedding, the beautiful young couple who appear to greatly love and respect each other, the wonderful Tiaras and fashion, the presentation of the couple to the public, the music and joyous celebration, and last but not least, your absolutely superb discussion and video summary. Thank YOU! Well done as always! 👏👏👏I so look forward to seeing the new HRH, Princess Rajwa begin her royal duties
Thank you Alexandra for sharing the royal wedding of the Jordanian Crown Princely Couple ❤😂🎉
Alexandra just a fantastic video, I’m with you “Beautiful wedding of all times”. The Gala Banquet Gown from Dolce & Gabbana for the bride just stunning, and Sheikha Moza Al Thani one of the few women in this world with such an elegance, presence, intelligence & strong character.
Thank you for providing with the Medals & Tiaras explanation , and all the names for the extended Jordan Royal Family, that was amazing. I will NEVER change this channel, is the BEST! 👏🏻
Oh my goodness, thank you so much for your kind comments, Rosie! 🙂. It really means a lot to me.
Again, thank you! 🙂
Jordan has a lot of princes and princesses!
Actually, there are quite a bit more.🙂 I actually missed two princesses: Her Royal Highness Princess Firyal Al Muhammad of Jordan and Her Royal Highness Princess Taghrid Al Muhammad of Jordan.
I love that so many heirs attended the wedding.
I concur!🙂
Good Morning. As awlays a well planned and well executed summary of this beautiful and momentous event. I watched the wedding from the beginning - the Jordanian coverage -- altho no subtitles etc., that was OK. it was well done - well planned -- I also appreciated the focus on the grooms family during the ceremony -- the King was first and formost, a Dad .... so warm and wonderful to see his humanity and his pride in his son. Later broadcasts with the talking heads was a nice review -- finally I just muted the 'narratives'. I did not appreciate the 'cuts' on some of the guests' attires .. but, I consider the source...... You are first and foremost a talented and gracious professional and this day's summary supported that .... take care.
Superbly done! I agree, it was a very beautiful wedding ceremony, loved the dress, the bride, the guests, loved everything. How small is the royal world as the Spaniard, Miriam who was married to Simeon of Bulgaria, the heir to the throne of Bulgaria who died in a car accident now is an HRH in Jordan after marrying a Jordanian prince. I'd like to know where and how they met, maybe I can get some ideas. LOL!
😂😂realmente...!!!!!me refiero a Miriam de Ungria!!! Que pase la información!!!!
This was so interesting. Thank you!
What a wonderful wrap up,dear Alexandra!!!!i appreciate it More than ever!!!puedo sentir la tristeza en tu voz😢.Abrazo!!!!
¡Gracias, Isabel!🙂
This is the FIRST media comment I have seen anywhere referencing the forming of the flag in t he procession. I was blown away by that and couldn't believe no one made comment on it.
I agree that this wedding and the attire of the family & guests were all respectful, dignified, and lovely. However, talk about a royal family metastasizing! There are so many of them, they may have to start lending them out to other nations for events.
Loved 😍😍😍 Princess Rajwa's dress for the wedding ceremony. So elegant!
Very beautuful wedding, for the religious ceremony only the royals were invited ,family include ( ussually only close family during religious ceremony because its very private) that shows how very close royals relation to Jordan royals family.and more than thousand were invited for the receptions.
It was a lovely wedding. I thought Sheikha Moza Al Thani was the most stunningly dressed woman in attendance. I understand apart from knowing the Jordanian family well; Princess Beatrice was in attendance as one of King Charles III Counsellors of State alongside the Prince of Wales.I love Crown Prince Hussein Grandmother Princess Muna Al Hussein, although living in Jordan for over 60 years there is xtill that quintessential Englishnes about her.
The Sheika Moza was just exquisitely dressed. She always is. To think she has 7 or 8 children and 9 grandchildren and still as svelte and impeccably dressed is a testament to her. I hope to see more of her.
this is great - thank you!!!
The wedding ceremony was very beautiful and the guests were elegantly dressed.
Bride and groom made a very elegant pair, showing great joy , and an elegant posture, at their wedding
ceremony. The bride looked beautiful , and the originality of the dress should be highlighted , very embellished with a wonderful , and long , embroidered veil .
As always , Queen Rania was magnificent , elegantly dressed , and with a friendly and charming posture when receiving her guests.
Princess Beatrice of U.K, was really very elegant with her dress made of a silver fabric, and with
a black fabric belt cinching the waist of her long, flowing dress. The arrangement of her hair with a black bow also combined very well with her look. It was noted that Princess Beatrice must have felt very good in that dress that she wore to the Wedding Ceremony of the Crown Princes of Jordan.
And, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, and his wife, Crown Prince Mary of Denmark, were also a couple that presented themselves very elegantly. Crown Princess Mary proves that her behavior is very consistent with the ideas she defends in terms of Environmental Protection and Saving Resources of our Planet , as she appeared dressed in a dress that she had already worn, but which she recycled, adding a beautiful embroidered silk fabric. , which fitted wonderfully into her dress . Very well thought.
Except that Mary wore a dress totally out of protocol and offensive. One does not show all that skin in an Arabic country, just look at every female guest. Mary was definitely tone deaf.
Thank you Alexandra for this video I was waiting on you to do a report on this ❤❤❤
Thank you, Vibematic! I'm glad you enjoyed the episode and the royal wedding! 🙂
Hi Alexandra, great report. This wedding may well prove to be one of the big events of 2023. It looks like everyone had a great time, and I wish the young couple the very best. Thank you very much again Alexandra, I have to apologize for not watching more of your videos lately. I have been pretty busy here of late, and I have been going to bed 🛌 earlier than I used to.
Have a great day tomorrow.
Take care. 😊
You're so welcome, Michael! I hope all is well with you, by the way! 🙂
Thank you!
Beautiful ❤💐
I noticed that Queen Rania was also like "This was a lot" as she stood in the reception receiving line. Much different affect for her than earlier. She had enough of the "la bise". Beatrice was the big surprise.
I wasn't expecting Princess Beatrice also. Usually, one person royal person represents a their country. But she looks stunning in both dresses.
@@inamoore4536 I read she was there as a personal friend rather than as a state envoy to the event.
@@inamoore4536oung people should be invited to the weddings, because it is a joyful and 'freshy' event, so it was perfect not just to see the formal state representatives.
@@kendallnicol3338 The Middleton's were there too. Not sure if the whole family was at the banquet, or just the ceremony, but I was more surprised to see them than Beatrice.
I thought she might have been there as royalty. Isn't her husband an Italian duke or prince?
Thanks, Alexandra. But I'm curious whether or not Queen Noor was invited to the wedding.
Unfortunately, Her Majesty Emerita Queen Noor did not attend.
I believe Queen Noor (aka Lisa Halaby) is living in exile. She is banned from returning to Jordan due to some issues with the reigning monarch and the change of heirs to the throne just before the death of King Hussein. I believe she resides in the UK and USA now and lives a very low profile.
@@shilohwoods4516 Hamzah was Abdullah's heir, per his promise to the dying King Hussein. Rania plotted to have her son (Hussein) as the heir.
@@biduca100 Hussein is Rania's husband and Hussein II is Rania's son. I think there were several people involved in the usurping of the throne. Queen Noor lost I think because she was not of Arabic decent. I believe Hamzah has been under guard since the switch in heirs. Noor had to flee the country. It is a big story with VERY little press. Thanks for your input.
WAS a lot..😅. But you did it perfectly 👍🤣
Damn you're good! ❤
I was so hoping you would do this!! ❤ I was able to watch with many thanks to you for providing the link for us and thank you again, for telling us who everyone is!!! You're awesome Alexandra! It's always nice to know who the people are that aren't normally talked about.
You are so welcome, Vicky, my pleasure! 🙂
ريبورتاج رائع للاحتفالات ، مؤثر للغاية وصادق.
على الرحب والسعة! كان الزفاف الملكي في الأردن جميلاً.
🙂
It’s a lot of Princes and Princesses of Jordon
Wfff!!!..a lot indeed!..😜🤭
🙌
Thank you for this. I am wondering why Queen Noor was not there - nor her children?
Hi Spirit! I hope all is well with you. 🙂
Unfortunately, royal watchers will not see Her Majesty Emerita Queen Noor of Jordan at any royal events with the family nor will we see her son Hamazh.
Tensions within the family began before the passing of the late great King Hussein of Jordan in 1999.
Long story short: Prior to The King's passing he named his son, Prince Abdullah, as heir to the Jordanian throne. Many thought it would be Prince Hassan bin Talal of Jordan (who at the time was Crown Prince).
When King Hussein was undergoing Cancer treatment in Rochester, New York he named Prince Abdullah as heir which allegedly upset Queen Noor. She -- allegedly -- firmly believed it should have been her son, Hamazh.
Since then the relationship between Emerita Queen Noor and Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania along with the rest of the family have been rocky.
Then in 2021, Hamzah along with several Jordanian government and military officials plotted a Coup to overthrow the monarchy. It failed. Since then, Hamzah has been under house arrest. Queen Noor supported her son during and after.
Emerita Queen Noor's other children, Prince Hashim bin Hussein of Jordan and Princess Raiyah bin Hussein of Jordan did attend the wedding and are close with Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania as well as with the rest of the royal family.
@@TheRoyalCorrespondent thank you so much for your very detailed reply. I admired Queen Noor so was wondering. I am glad her other children were at the wedding. ❤️
Chamdulela 🎉
Queen Noor daughter attended ?
She did! 🙂 Along with her husband, Ned Donovan.
Hamzah and Queen Noor did not attend, naturally. Too much tension.
@@TheRoyalCorrespondent I know Hamzah tried a coup but, Noor had nothing to do with it did she?
@@SusanOnTVShows there were plenty of relatives involved with the coup attempt. Hamzah is in domestic prison. He is a threat to Abdullah. And I read this wedding was partly arranged to form allegiances to guarantee Abdullah's and Hussein's reign. Queen Noor was vocal about it.
Hi Donna! Sorry for the late reply.
My goodness, where do I start... Months before the death of the late King Hussein of Jordan on February 7th he hadn't named his heir. At the time, it was Prince Hassan bin Talal of Jordan (The King's brother) who was essentially the "unofficial" Crown Prince of Jordan. Meaning, many in the Kingdom believed Prince Hassan would become King after the death of King Hussein.
Meanwhile, Prince Abdullah bin Hussein of Jordan's career within the military was really taking off. Eventually, he and the family moved to Northern California where the Prince along with other members of the Jordan Armed Forces trained.
During this time, King Hussein of Jordan was undergoing Cancer treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. One day he asked Prince Abdullah to met with him. So he did. During their meeting, King Hussein told Prince Abdullah that he chose him to be his heir...the next Hashemite King of Jordan. At first, Prince Abdullah told him that he didn't want the "job" and that he was happy furthering his career within the JAF. King Hussein told the Prince "...that is why I chose you. You never sought to be King." In other word, King Hussein knew he wasn't greedy and cares for the people of Jordan.
Meanwhile, tensions continued between a then Queen Noor and the rest of the family. According to my sources in Amman and my Jordanian friends, a majority of the family were not particularly fond of Queen Noor. It's been that way for years...allegedly.
Prior to the death of King Hussein, Queen Noor was pushing for their son -- then known as Prince Hamazah -- to be heir to the throne.
When King Hussein chose Prince Abdullah allegedly Queen Noor was incredibly upset and never supported him.
After the passing of King Hussein we saw less and less of Queen Noor at official and private events.
Cut to 2021: Prince Hamazah along with several Jordanian government and military officials were arrested and tried in court for plotting a Coup. Their goal was to oust King Abdullah II of Jordan and place Prince Hamazah on the throne then strict rules would be set in place within the Kingdom thereafter. Also, I can confirm through friends of mine who live in Jordan, that there were a handful of Jordanians (mainly Bedouins) who supported Hamzah's plan.
Queen Noor wasn't exactly silent about Hamzah's attempted Coup. She supported and still supports him.
Today, Prince Hamazah -- who renounced his title in 2022 -- is under house arrest along with his second wife and children.
There is a lot more to the saga... perhaps one day I'll do a special episode about it.
By the way, I hope my response made sense...🙂
@@TheRoyalCorrespondent Sounds like King Hussein made the right choice
