too bad it has 11kw AC - new scenic E-tech has 22kw which can be a game changing, because in Poland we have 22kw charging points almost everywhere so charging during staying at cinema/shopping/hotels is much more convinient with faster onboard charger. Also because fast charging are growing, but still there are limited and there are a lot of queues - 22kw AC charging can safe the trip. 40 minutes of charging and you have like 100km. Strange they do not put ventilated seats like hyundai does in Kona for 5 years.
Think it would be clever to send the VW-management for a trainingcourse to Skoda. Maybe then they will learn what the customer wants for design etc. Its another nice Skoda-design:)
Thank you for another great review. As an XC40 full electric car owner I look forward to my next lease car after two years. Things I value are: pre-hearing, 360 camera with top view for easy parking, one pedal driving to full stop, ease of door unlocking and locking as well as ease of car starting. Hook for towing and towing capacity. Apple Car Play is important and a good iPhone app for intelligent charging at home at low prices as well as starting or programming the pre-heating. In other words the review could be a way of simulating a daily use. How do I prepare my car for driving with heating and level of charge (I charge to 80% at home for daily drives but bump it to 100% for longer drives). All this can be done from the app. This is just example of thing some viewers pay attention to. Your reviews are the best in my opinion. Please consider including those practical aspects perhaps in even more extensive reviews. 😊
Thomas: You can find the car specs in the description. Me: Pausing the video, and go study the specs. Lea: Who would study car specs?? Ooops 😁 By the way, I love the little exchanges between you two, and all the extra information like the honeycomb design. I think it adds quite a bit of character to the videos and that is the reason why I prefer to watch your videos about cars rather than those from other reviewers.
Skoda deserves great praise for their interior, they are super good at it!! Regarding the exterior, they could be a little more imaginative Could miss a version with ventilated seats in the summer, it will be really good. Can understand that in Scandinavia, Skoda is also delivered in versions with a heat pump!. Nicely worked Skoda deserves great praise for your work.
Thanks for featuring the silver paint job in the review! Just ordered this same review spec for my next lease car, replacing my Superb IV in May. I like the trunk features, good UX from Skoda :)
Overall looks great. I do not understand textiles on dash and around the front seats though. I’m thinking it will look pretty bad over time after a lot of wearing, touching etc. Especially in areas such as under the infotainment screen where you will rest your smudgy hands when interacting with the screen. I’d much prefer woods, metals, plastics or leather/leatherette to keep it easy to clean and keep 2nd hand value up.
I ordered a maximum specced (but 19" tires) green 85 version in Germany about 2 weeks ago. After a standard €5k discount from Skoda and the car dealer, it costs about €50k.
Me too ordered mine right after the paris motor show, sadly after ordering i noticed we have in france a lower end specs , mine is a 85 plus version/lodge/heat pump/trailer hitch, skoda did -4000e discount and -4000e from the gov the final price just went just under 40k€ which is not bad i though
SKoda would clean up here in California. This is a great design, so much better than the ID.3 as it has more usable volume. Sadly we don't get Skoda yet. Of course they would need to build a factory here else they would lose the $7500 tax credit.
Thank you for an insightful and thorough review, Thomas(and Lea), as usual. I don't know about Deutschland, but in Dänemark, Skoda has introduced a "First edition" model with the highest specs for around €50.000, just about the maximum price tag that an electric compact Skoda can carry on our market. Anything above this price will make the Elroq look expensive compared to its competitors. Probably the Skoda Elroq drives a little bit better, but with the Kia EV3 that you mention, you get more distance, better charging, and overall a better price tag, although the Kia is also a somewhat smaller car. And by the way, I really enjoy your channel.😊😊😊
At last! An EV that is worthy of consideration and relatively affordable to the private buyer. Easy on the sometimes whacky and outlandish styling of some. Practical and stylish. I like the new Skoda corporate architecture. Those little idiosyncratic touches. Nice job and great review.
12:45 - You could still set your seat a little bit higher there, because you are sitting quite low there with lots of head room. That would give you more leg room.
Have been a fan of Skoda for many years but VW ID based EVs need to start including the heat pump, etc. at no extra cost, so the price is more competitive against the Tesla Model 3 and Y.
This would have been a 10/10 with physical buttons. No volume knob media buttons, no physical climate control or driving aids/mode selector, a huge miss. Too bad they had to copy the ID* VW BS interior
I found out that “no buttons interior” can be done well or badly. And sadly the VW group did it very poorly. However after experiencing Tesla interior I can say I prefer no buttons now.
All these can be found in Kia EV3 + ipedal, 3x warranty, better storage capacity, front trunk under hood, better efficiency and also better residual valua(lower drop of value) and better reliability. Its pretty obvious npc buyers wil go to skoda dealership and buy elroq, but the ones who go chevk EV3 will deffinety end up buying more or the EV3 compared to Elroq.
Most of what you claimed to miss is on steering whee or dash board with physical button and temperature is always visible on screen and is really easy to adjust when you barely ever even need to adjust it.
@@kristoffergo6973The EX30 is indeed deceptively small. Especially on screen, it looks so much bigger. But in reality…It’s actually not really bigger (at least in terms of interior space) than say a VW Polo.
More interested about the seating difference with the Enyaq. Autoblog also mentioned less rear seat space, because the the front is so much to the backward. While the number suggest the same interior room.
In the UK where we are limited to 70mph on a good day, I find the mid battery ID3 more than adequate. The big one doesn’t really make sense for most people, including as a main car for occasional long journeys. In countries where you can do 130+kph, I agree you want the bigger battery.
Everyone says the Drive mode button merely works as a shortcut to the Drive Mode options on the screen, but actually the button also switches between modes
What's interesting is the production cost saving. You can see the doors, the front fender, the tail lights and the interior are all taken from the Enyaq.
This car definitely looks like a very nice EV, with quality in mind. The only low point IMHO: in the driver's zone I would have used a bit less "cheap" plastic, but all in all the impression I get from watching your video is that of a great car. Also it's smaller than the Eniaq, so perfect for me (the Eniaq was gorgeous but way too big for me). After watching your video I've decided that l will go for a test drive since I consider this EV a very good option as my next car.
VW could learn a thing or two from Skoda about interiors. Not any cheap soft black plastic in sight. Not sure about the Skoda script on the front instead of the logo. Overall, it’s quite nice. Be nice to see a Golf with this type of interior.
There are so many people here who know more than me about cars. I just upgraded the wheels on my Octavia to 16" with some from an A6 that I got just to put all seasons on them for the Dutch winter. The car handles so much better now. How is that possible?
There is big difference between cheap tire and expensive tire. Your car would be even better with proper winter tires or even studded tire. Also proper air pressure makes difference.
@mr.wizeguy8995 thank you. I agree with you fully. I love Michelin tires as I've seen the difference they make compared to cheap ones. About proper winter tires, we only get at most a few days of a little snow here and rarely freezing temperatures so all season make the most sense for me. Most people go on summer tires year round.
Thank you for the video I prefer the term "verticaly challenged" ;) So the Elroq should be fine for me but I wait for the first cars to be at the dealer to make up my mind but so far a very compelling package.
I friend bought an Octavia vRS and I found out that instead of the umbrella they included a brush (supposedly for the dashboard). Probably one of those "no rain and no frost" parts of Europe misconceptions like the heatpump.
@autogefuehl We better use it somewhere else. It almost never snows around here. Like one day every 20 years. At least it rains. The umbrella would have been better.
@@autogefuehl I don't know if he knew that. And he did do a special order. He asked for a red Octavia like the one in your test drive video. He is also an Autogefühl fan 😀. Our importer usually only offers white, black, grey and blue for the Octavia.
100% agree on the biggest battery, especially if you're living in a place with poor charging networks and do longer distances regularly. The problem in the UK is that you'll hit the £40k limit with a well specced car which soon brings a big penalty in vehicle excise duty for the first 6 years (I'm paying it right now, and its painful). Charging £1000 for a heat pump seems madness in northern European countries. It should be stabdard in a modern EV.
Really nice space you found there. Interesting that they decided to make it a crossover suv? Is it just me or is the front totally giving kia vibes. Might be the best in the "id3" family. Is the interior "wool" the same that audi uses? Nice and fun video as always thomas keep it up you two!
I disagree with you about always going with the biggest battery, especially if you are concerned about the environmental impact. The smaller ones are often lfp so they will last longer and are made with less rare materials. People should just be honest with their daily requirements and not justify the purchase based on one or two road trips they make each year. Of course some people do need much more range but that should not be the default option
Here all batteries are same chemistry. I agree going the small battery e.g. when its Model 3 where it is about 60 LFP vs 80 NMC for sure. Because you can still do everything with that. But these sub 60 kWh batteries with bad efficiency just lead to a 2nd or 3rd car usage only
A daily use. If you are so concerned about the environment why don't you use public transport instead, or a bike even an e-bike, or an e-scooter in the trunk. Because of your local government you can't. I know there are cases where people need the car and that is fine, but in most you could manage with a public transport if it is updated and managed properly. Also public facilities like schools and other. I live in a city that has quite good public transport and for my daily comutes I do not use a car (20/80 city/motorway). Only in some rare cases I do. Why should the governments have to charge us people an E-Tax, but on the other hand we do not demand them to do a better public transport for the same reason.
@@autogefuehlI totally agree with Your thinking. Very often BEVs are promoted as and only second car for city driving etc. So why You will buy big Elroq with 52kWh battery if You can buy 20% cheaper Hyundai Inster with 49kWh and much better spec included in this price? I agree that cheap & small BEV should have small batteries around 40-50kWh is optimum and fully enough. But they will be only as a SECOND car NEXT to the ICE or bigger BEV, that will be choosen for longer trips. If You wants to replace ICE with BEV and have only one car Elroq/EV3 with bigger batteries will be perfect car for any kind of journeys, city or highways. One car with 80kWh and no TWO BEVs with 50& 75kWh. In Summary is much less materials
@@teovmBIG BEVs with small batteries = Range as same practical like big ICE car with small engine & 10L/100km in highways with 30L fuel tank. But they are big cars with example small trunk and >4.5m in length. They will be bad in cities and even worse in highways. Why not buy compact model with bigger fuel tank & less fuel consumption and better turning radius and much shorter? Example 4.3m . This will be much better for any kind of usecases. Small compact ICE could be only ONE car for daily use because they are UNIVERSAL. The same needs are for BEVs. Kia EV3 has 4.3m and 600km WLTP this is much better than big SUV with 4.8m and 400km WLTP and simillar trunk? Only little more space in second row? With worse DC charging? See example Leapmotor C10. BEVs like Elroq/EV3 could replace almost any compact ICE that a lot of People are using in Europe, like Karoq/Golf etc
@@marekwitek7494 I gues it could be that, but only with the big battery. The real world range is way shorter than what it is stated. Around 20% less and in some cases even more. And if you put that most users will not charge at 100% every time then you lose more. Also not a lot of users have a place to charge it at home. So a big 85KW battery will have around 250km real world daily range. And that is enough. If you have the infrastructure and lifestyle and you have to change the car anyways - GO for it. But that does not mean that local governments have to relax. No matter what they must think of better Public Transport and infrastructure like bike lanes, walkways, local schools for small children and such. Also small local shops, facilities and other, that are walkable. So that you do not have to get your car. Many of the people in the neighbourhood could work in the local environment and thus not need transport for daily use at all. It will be fare more economically viable and environmental. That is not something unreal. We lived it way back. As city planning was a thing. For every new neighbourhood there were schools, kindergartens, local police, fire and health centres, parks, everything connected by walkable pathways. A lot of shops and food markets, coffee shops and other small entertainment (disco club, restaurants, etc), at least one church. Public Transport for the railway station and Bus Station (for other cities or airport). Most people never needed a car. But neighbourhoods were a community as people gather around them. No matter how much roads they build they will still be full if they are used mainly by personal vehicles even if they are like the Ami.
I'm here in Australia but just spent 4 weeks in Germany driving the Alpenstraße and the Schwarzwald (and doing a few Christmas markets!), in an electric Ioniq 5. I booked an ID.3 but they swapped it for the Ioniq. Being cold and alpine I was getting 300-350km per charge (hence why I wanted the bigger battery ID3) , less when I opened it up on the Autobahn. The driver assist features were surprisingly good (except twice when I has to clear ice from the front sensors to activate cruise control 😂). I currently drive a Škoda Rapid Hatch (2017)and would like to stay with a Euro car. This is scheduled to arrive in Australia mid 2025 and is high on my wish list. Can you ask your contacts why charging apps are geo- blocked from "foreign" phones? As a tourist, using an Australian phone but a Euro SIM, the only way to charge was scanning QR codes and paying on a web page, and some chargers didn't have that option so I couldn't use them. It's ridiculous to block customers based on where their phone's home is set to. Was my first experience with an EV but this sort of thing is disappointing.
Yeah cool, lets lie to our customers about the batteries by calling the 52, 50, the 59-60 and of course the classic 77-80, why not change it this time to simply say the truth and just put the precise numbers ffs for once ! When is Europe going to regulate these things?
Excellent review Thomas. Skoda appear to have done a lovely job on this. Just the price - as always. You have a Max option package at near £6,000 to make the car what you actually want. It’s a shame they have done away with more individual options.
Very nice exterior design. Modern and classical at the same time. A clean one. Interior design not too bad. As for the lack of the frunk this is a minus.
finally a sensible interior - real buttons on steering wheel - small cockpit screen, especially with a heads up display you can ditch it completely - the infotainment screen could be even smaller from my point of view. 9-10" is more than enough. I hate this trend with big screens in the car. It should be a car, not an iPad/TV
Volkswagen should take this exact model and put VW badges on it and send it to Canada and the US or make it in Chattanooga Tennessee it’s smaller than the ID4 but bigger than the iD3 that we don’t have here in North America they should do the same with the Bigger Skoda SUV or start selling Skoda cars in VW dealers just have a dual brand model of Dealers similar to what GM does they sell multiple brands on the same lot.
Not sure why theyre moving away from their logo and using spelled out name as branding. Absolutely love the winged arrow Škoda logo, so much history....
Very nice looking car, especially compared to ID3. A second car in a row that makes me wonder, how VAG allowed Škoda to clearly beat VW in its offering. BTW, anyone else remembers times when black door undersides indicated lowest possible equipment level of a car?
The next time you see some Mercedes engineers, could you ask them why there is no dedicated next song button on the steering wheel like in most of other cars?
why do the electric cars always have these huge wheels, is that better for the aerodynamics or the efficiency in general ? Or is it just the trend for the EV's. I always wanted small alloys and more rubber for better comfort, now this electric Karoq comes with minimum 19 inch, up do 21 inch, it's crazy.
Too bad they did not use this design style for new Kodiaq and Octavia (they are too round now).. Good thing Elroq kept some of those sharp lines on the body, and of course PRND shifter is in a better spot in Elroq (compared to new Kodiaq) 😎
No stupid black piano lacquer anywhere ? I applaud you Skoda designers. Truly. That shit ist the worst. And some brands have the habit to put it at the worst places where it als way gets extra dirty and scratchy.
17:12 " The Enyaq of course has more space here ( knee room ) ... " Are you sure ? I don't think so because the Enyaq has the identical wheelbase so why would it have more legroom ?
The Toyota bZ4X’s advanced engineering ensures up to 252 miles of range in FWD and 228 miles in AWD. Enjoy its smooth, quiet drive and instant torque, elevating your driving experience with efficiency and style.
Yes the only downside is no Frunk. I know there are a couple of companies that have made a frunk and one comes with a gas strut for the bonnet istead of needing to use the manual strut.
It is interesting that Skoda continues to present compelling and competitive vehicles when parent VW is really struggling. It’s like Skoda is beating VW at their own game. Even the new Passat is a rebadged Superb.
I disagree to go always for biggest battery. 52 kWh is already plenty for normal daily drives like work and hobbies. For example typical person in Scadinavia drives 30-40 kms a day so even with 52 kWh you already drive one week. Then if you need to travel longer trips then just plan the charging stops. I think we need more efficient cars and smaller batteries to be sustainable. Of course in the future when batteries are advanced entry models will have that 75 kWh or even 100 kWh batteries
The problem is that reviewers compare list prices nobody is paying. I do not get why the OEM have high list prices and the dealer offers a price 20-30% lower than that.
I'm a fan of the quietness of electric cars, but they need to bring prices down. Who wants to spend 34k (which will likely be 40k cuz who's gonna buy the base version?) on a depreciating asset? When EVs hit 25k, then I'll consider buying
Great review, noticed the the centre screen vibrated a bit with your camera view. Also would have liked some rougher road testing which is more indicative of real world driving. Service intervals and warranty details would be useful info. Still no spare wheel and being rear wheel drive you’d think they could accommodate it up from like the old Citroen DS.
Thank you for showing how much better Skoda do interiors than sibling VW. At €56k as driven this is simply poor value. In our household we have one vehicle for towing and off road (a Landrover Discovery) which is always hitched to a trailer, one for me to enjoy, and a third for a runabout which is where this would have to fit; it does not fit at this price with no off road or 4WD. This is just our use case and I am sure this could do for city dwellers with one parking space and just one car for everything. On battery size I take the opposite view from Thomas which is to go for the smallest battery you can get away with. Firstly I think buying lots of battery now is going to be a bad investment in about three years time as technology improves. Secondly a smaller battery reduces weight and improves handling. If occasionally you need greater range than you have bought, you can always hire something.
I remember when VW debuted the ID3 and decided on a D/B strategy of regen style, and it was sooooo disappointing that it didn't and doesn't have to this day, true one pedal driving, and it's still the same in the Elroq. VW's reasoning (excuse) was that people converting to BEVs would prefer their system over one pedal driving. The outcome has been that virtually everyone who gets used to BEV driving prefers a one pedal driving option. And VW (ok Skoda here) still offers a system that satisfies in one area (virtually coasting along), but doesn't in the other (good regen braking to a halt). Even Nissan, with the original Leaf, proved that you could have both with several variables inbetween. Honestly, it's really mediocre stuff from VW. Yes, I have a 2021 ID3 PP and I love it.
@@UhOhUmm Would be better to have 2 fully spected cars, one with a small battery and the second with the big battery, eventually a performance as a third option...oh wait, someone else is doing exactly that and selling EVs like hot cakes !
@@UhOhUmm If they will do the same as Ford did and add a 5k discount, plus the bonus discount for electric veh. in our country, then yes, at a 25-27k price tag it's another story
It's a nice car but, as with most EV's, all too easy to hit the UK luxury car tax level at £40k. I'm more interested in the smaller forthcoming Skoda Epiq as a possible replacement for our Kona EV.

By the way, I love the little exchanges between you two, and all the extra information like the honeycomb design. I think it adds quite a bit of character to the videos and that is the reason why I prefer to watch your videos about cars rather than those from other reviewers.
highly appreciated my friend!
Same here. Kyle Connor of Out of Spec with Alyssa has a similar dynamic.
Skoda deserves great praise for their interior, they are super good at it!! Regarding the exterior, they could be a little more imaginative
Could miss a version with ventilated seats in the summer, it will be really good.
Cool enjoy 😊
Thx alot for another great review in english. You guys are really good together 😎
Thank you so much! Please recommend / share our channel and our videos 🙏
After a standard €5k discount from Skoda and the car dealer, it costs about €50k.
enjoy!
Silver body color and silver rims. A really great looking Skoda👍
Another great review. Thanks Thomas. And the car is good also!
cheers m8 !
Cheers! Yes indeed that First Edition is also in Germany!
Great review, I just bought the. first edition
enjoy !
Very thorough review 👍
Thank you so much! Please recommend / share our channel and our videos 🙏
At last! An EV that is worthy of consideration and relatively affordable to the private buyer. Easy on the sometimes whacky and outlandish styling of some. Practical and stylish. I like the new Skoda corporate architecture. Those little idiosyncratic touches. Nice job and great review.
Cheers!
If price is only factor then you buy Tesla. If Tesla would be half price what now i would still avoid it.
That's a great looking car, very appealing interior and really practical. Good job Skoda
This would have been a 10/10 with physical buttons. No volume knob media buttons, no physical climate control or driving aids/mode selector, a huge miss. Too bad they had to copy the ID* VW BS interior
I hope when current design cycle is done they will revert to the old ways. Not only VW but others too. It's becoming more and more ridiculous
@@jandolejsi8122 interesting. After driving multiple Teslas, I actually prefer physical buttons and an indicator stick😅
Most of what you claimed to miss is on steering whee or dash board with physical button and temperature is always visible on screen and is really easy to adjust when you barely ever even need to adjust it.
I am gutted this car wasn't released sooner, as I would have gotten the Elroq over the EX30, as the Enyaq/ID4 were far far too big.
Ex30 is crap
Damn, I looked at the EX30 that car is too small. I went for a MG Marvel R
@@blarkdexture8899what’s wrong with it?
Don't you like the EX30?
@@kristoffergo6973The EX30 is indeed deceptively small. Especially on screen, it looks so much bigger. But in reality…It’s actually not really bigger (at least in terms of interior space) than say a VW Polo.
My 8 year old Yeti is getting nervous....the Elroq may be too good to ignore...!!.
Great content as ever. It was just too late to the market for my current purchasing needs but good to know for future reference.
Cheers!
Best exterior design ever. No single corner is wrong.
love the front, had the side and back. wish they would make a smaller car but with the same front
I gotta recheck that, thanks!
@ it shows your current mode on your driver display, further presses cycle through the options.
Thanks! We would also deliver you news about the Enyaq this week
How is that possible?
really depends on the tyres, I also made the experience that my personal car is driving much more comfortable with a new set of tyres
Cheers!
I friend bought an Octavia vRS and I found out that instead of the umbrella they included a brush (supposedly for the dashboard). Probably one of those "no rain and no frost" parts of Europe misconceptions like the heatpump.
the brush is for snow!
@autogefuehl We better use it somewhere else. It almost never snows around here. Like one day every 20 years. At least it rains. The umbrella would have been better.
Hehe 😅 usually u can select before which item u want to have
@@autogefuehl I don't know if he knew that. And he did do a special order. He asked for a red Octavia like the one in your test drive video. He is also an Autogefühl fan 😀. Our importer usually only offers white, black, grey and blue for the Octavia.
@@brunomadeira8432 You can buy OG umbrella from Skoda shop.
EVs are exempt from that atm still, April 2025 the exception will end though
Really nice space you found there. Interesting that they decided to make it a crossover suv? Is it just me or is the front totally giving kia vibes. Might be the best in the "id3" family. Is the interior "wool" the same that audi uses? Nice and fun video as always thomas keep it up you two!
yep indeed it looks like a Kia. Thanks m8 :)
Skoda doesnt use wool, but they still use animal skin in optional trims
Love that short singing interruptions in this video😂
hehe =)
Gasp! It was like David Attenborough was in the car ! Thanks.
=)
Wow, those seats look comfortable!
Was my first experience with an EV but this sort of thing is disappointing.
thanks for the report! Hmm maybe thats due to some data security stuff dunno
7:10 the most important feature 😍
=)
Reminds of a Rolls Royce
Features, as in multiple. Thomas was clearly lying about the chilly winds. Oh, the umbrella is nice too.
Forgot to mention the Ice Scraper tucked away in the boot too. Very clever.
looks way better than the ID range
Will those headlights be all full of snow winter time in areas where there is snow and proper winter? Cybertruck is suffering from this problem.
All LED lights are suffering more compared to halogen lights because LED produce so little heat.
Yeah cool, lets lie to our customers about the batteries by calling the 52, 50, the 59-60 and of course the classic 77-80, why not change it this time to simply say the truth and just put the precise numbers ffs for once ! When is Europe going to regulate these things?
agree
29:34 i hate that trend of infotainment screens sticking out, look how much it shakes.
Excellent review Thomas. Skoda appear to have done a lovely job on this. Just the price - as always. You have a Max option package at near £6,000 to make the car what you actually want. It’s a shame they have done away with more individual options.
thanks m8 !
Very nice exterior design. Modern and classical at the same time. A clean one.
Interior design not too bad.
As for the lack of the frunk this is a minus.
Same opinion, beautiful lines but in a conservative design, very well done.
This is the car that VW should have made instead of the ID3/4/5.
finally a sensible interior
- real buttons on steering wheel
- small cockpit screen, especially with a heads up display you can ditch it completely
- the infotainment screen could be even smaller from my point of view. 9-10" is more than enough. I hate this trend with big screens in the car. It should be a car, not an iPad/TV
I wonder if the plastic storage box at 11:44 would fit in the area beside the drive selector, it looks like a similar shape
interesting, I gotta try that
You should let your wife test drive and give her impression as well. Always interesting with more perspectives.
That boot doesn't look like it can hold 470L
Volkswagen should take this exact model and put VW badges on it and send it to Canada and the US or make it in Chattanooga Tennessee it’s smaller than the ID4 but bigger than the iD3 that we don’t have here in North America they should do the same with the
Bigger Skoda SUV or start selling Skoda cars in VW dealers just have a dual brand model of Dealers similar to what GM does they sell multiple brands on the same lot.
How was the sound from the Canton Speakers, very good Video!!!!👍🙌😉😎
Thanks! Yes its nice, not overwhelming but good
@autogefuehl Thanks, keep up the good work!!!!
Thanks keep recommending!
They both have the same wheelbase (+/- 1mm) and the same cabin size👍
Schicke Jacke, welcher Hersteller ist denn das? Abgesehen davon auch wieder ein sehr schönes Review.
danke dir! Von Hollister :)
Not sure why theyre moving away from their logo and using spelled out name as branding. Absolutely love the winged arrow Škoda logo, so much history....
The interior looks like the new A6, except you expect fabric and plastic as an option for Skoda and it looks great here
Will you please do some reviews on British roads?
Very nice looking car, especially compared to ID3. A second car in a row that makes me wonder, how VAG allowed Škoda to clearly beat VW in its offering.
BTW, anyone else remembers times when black door undersides indicated lowest possible equipment level of a car?
The next time you see some Mercedes engineers, could you ask them why there is no dedicated next song button on the steering wheel like in most of other cars?
I think it didnt fit anymore
@ Thank you for replying. For me it’s a shame, as it’s one of the most useful buttons, but well, I can just keep choosing between alternative cars.
Im thinking of changing yn 2017 octavia Tdi for a new car, this could be a contender.
Nice review again! The ID.3 is better for drifting, though! Especially the latest RWD long-range version.
thanks! hehe yes
why do the electric cars always have these huge wheels, is that better for the aerodynamics or the efficiency in general ? Or is it just the trend for the EV's. I always wanted small alloys and more rubber for better comfort, now this electric Karoq comes with minimum 19 inch, up do 21 inch, it's crazy.
It’s design. Its actually bad for efficiency since it usually comes with wider tyres then.
Too bad they did not use this design style for new Kodiaq and Octavia (they are too round now)..
Good thing Elroq kept some of those sharp lines on the body, and of course PRND shifter is in a better spot in Elroq (compared to new Kodiaq) 😎
awesome review,funny and efficient,like a skoda.😅
thanks my friend !
Would you take it over the upgraded ID.4 Thomas?
I d get a ID7
@autogefuehl Beyond my budget :(
Sometimes there are good leasing deals
@@autogefuehl Thanks, I will consider your suggestion. What is your opinion about Ioniq 6, did it impress you (single motor)?
This car will be selling well 😊
Hello Thomas, do you actually have a favourite key? None so far seem to qualify?
I think here Audi BMW Mercedes do it well
No stupid black piano lacquer anywhere ? I applaud you Skoda designers. Truly. That shit ist the worst. And some brands have the habit to put it at the worst places where it als way gets extra dirty and scratchy.
I have the Enyaq, and I'm sure Elroq will be just as good. Obviously the Elroq is better in built-up areas.
17:12 " The Enyaq of course has more space here ( knee room ) ... "
Are you sure ?
I don't think so because the Enyaq has the identical wheelbase so why would it have more legroom ?
more on that very soon on our channel, stay tuned!
interesting aspect with the wheelbase for sure. My guess is that the seats build differently
Think you can put the seat bench in the rear higher which changes the angle how you sit, then creating more legroom
Front end is also shorter than Enyaq.
@mr.wizeguy8995 No it's not, both have exactly the same overhang.
The only difference between the two cars is the overhang in the rear
Very nice, but prices just don‘t go down . Isn’t Skoda supposed to be cheap?
The Toyota bZ4X’s advanced engineering ensures up to 252 miles of range in FWD and 228 miles in AWD. Enjoy its smooth, quiet drive and instant torque, elevating your driving experience with efficiency and style.
I just bought a new car. I simplified it. I bought a mild hybrid diesel - problem solved and also the car will not burn my house if cought fire :)
ICE cars burns much often than EVs and actually hybrids are most prone to burn.
Of course in the future when batteries are advanced entry models will have that 75 kWh or even 100 kWh batteries
you have to remember that during winther you loose ALOT of range due to cold weather and high consumption ;)
not everyone can charge at home
I don't see a single reason why this should cost over 30.000e in any version.
The problem is that reviewers compare list prices nobody is paying. I do not get why the OEM have high list prices and the dealer offers a price 20-30% lower than that.
I dont think you ll get 30 % discount on this one... leasing rates might be a different thing though
@@autogefuehl Not 30% for the Elroq yet. But 18% for the Elroq 50 (28900 Euros) is what dealers have ads for without even starting talking to them.
Front rover evoque vibe
Hi tomas is there still that user ok that need to confirm every time?
they wanted to remove that intentionally now
I'm a fan of the quietness of electric cars, but they need to bring prices down. Who wants to spend 34k (which will likely be 40k cuz who's gonna buy the base version?) on a depreciating asset? When EVs hit 25k, then I'll consider buying
You can buy a Skoda Enyaq right now for that price.
Its just it's 3 years old!😄
Skoda Epiq will be much cheaper there will be new car for you when it come to available.
Thanks 😊
Still has that cheap and old technology of drum brakes on the rear axle ?
11:50 Hexagons are the bestagons
hehe
What is the price going to be in EU?
see pricing section
No heat pump included! 1000 euro to add one 800 euro winter pack! Skoda people are insane!
Wouldn't worry about that. There will be discounts and packages made at the dealers to include those options. EV sales aren't great.
Should be standard on all EVs above 30k
I love the front design, i don't like the back design
It's a nice car but, as with most EV's, all too easy to hit the UK luxury car tax level at £40k.
I'm more interested in the smaller forthcoming Skoda Epiq as a possible replacement for our Kona EV.
