Again, quite good balance between War` Stuff and riding. I love the small, silly comments you do every now and then, keeps the mood up. Good work chap, I enjoy every video I watch.
The plaque in Trier roughly translated as follows: High Bunker Augustinerhof Built during the war years 1941-1943, it was constructed in reference to medieval military architectural forms but was never completed. In its architecture, it stands as a unique military-technical time document for Trier. Today, the bunker is used as storage space.
Germany is so underated for biking. Wen't to Edersee this year on my MT10 for a KTM meetup. Went vis Remagen because of one of your other videos, I might have mentioned it previously. It was awesome :D Cheers Tim, I've added the burgers to my list.
Thanks Tim, great series! I’ve lived in Luxembourg and the Trier area for 25 years and never knew about the air raid shelter. I’m a history geek so I’ll have to go have a look!
It's over 20 yrs since I 1st enjoyed German touring using random well surfaced back roads, easily the best way to see the country LITERALLY. Plus no tourists
Thanks for the videos. Already got my trip planned for sep 25 to the black forest. Thanks for a few recommendations road wise. Will also keep that burger place in mind ;)
Had mY MT10 SP decatted and full arkro fitted with full yamaha remapping you'll not regret it, you may need a baffle in it if your touring alot on it as its loud.
I used to live in Karl Marx Strasse in Trier before moving to Luxembourg, down the road. Of course Motorpoint didn't exist then! Quality wine and beer did, though. God, Europe is so marvellous.
Hi Tim, I very much appreciate these vids. I’m just trying to trace your route from Ramstein to Trier ( I was there in September). Could you please give some more details such as towns en route. I realise you mention Road numbers.
Fantastic roads. Will def put this on the list of destinations if the weather in Europe ever improves. What is the touring screen you have on your MT10 and is it any good?
Would love a route plan Tim, Friday to Monday tours sounds perfect!
+1 for this mr.chops!

Not bored watching it Tim but certainly longing for a dry spell of weather!
Lovely scenery, nice tour
Nice series Tim, I like the way you’ve kept a nice balance between the history and bike entertainment
😀 I came for the bikes but stayed for the burgers.

Lovely smooth roads through the countryside and no rain.
This is about as good as it gets.
I had to watch the burger interlude twice 😮
Personal gravy 😂

You can see the surroundings instead of a 6 ft hedge lining the entire road.
Would love to do those roads on a 600cc supersport. 👊✊

I would have thought B269 would have reminded you of the North Downs.

Beautiful corn ! What month this is ?🤔
@Scaramouche-sr2rn September!
Riesling is beer?! Colour me überrascht.
@@neilcam haha what’s the saying… no plan survives contact with the open-air wine bar on a warm evening in a beautiful German town 😂
@@timrodierides Can't argue with that at all!
You shouldn't pick on GS riders. It's their right to stop improving their riding skills and live life in a self-congratulatory state 😀
