Skin colour doesn't define people's beauty and I think black people are attractive.

You should also read books on how to deal with micro aggression. These types of people show up a lot and knowing the ins and outs of what they are doing, why and how to beat it puts you ahead of their foolish weak behaviour. Because passive aggressive, aggressive and micro aggressive people are all the same and at the basis of their aggression they are insecure little bullies.

It is okay to not be okay! Literally wished i knew this and actually believed it. Being in a predominantly white and male institution is already so hard, you cannot be in your own head, saying mental illness doesn’t exist. Yas yas yas

Girl when you mentioned working at McDonald's I actually screamed. Me too. I worked at a branch not too far from my house from year 12 to year 13. It was a struggle but it taught me independence. Lowkey people think working at McDonald's is a joke. But it will teach you the best life lessons. The struggle is real.

There is a Hungarian novel titled "Black Diamonds". Although the novel itself is about something completely different but just like diamonds can be black beauty does not depend on skin color. More to say, many Black people have a joy of life that many White are lacking of (maybe due to cultural reasons) and that I pretty much envy them as a White.

I begin the uni on march 2020, and I feel quite nervous (I'm not going to a campus or anything, bc I live in Colombia, and that's not very common here) but I do feel very anxious about socializing, it has always been hard for me to make new friends; and I'm also worried about not being smart enough for the university I'm going to, it's a very recognized one here because of it's high teaching level, and Idk if I can go through it. Anyways, you said many things in this video that can be very helpful for me, thank u. Saludos

Question: Do you feel sometimes your name causes harsher grading? :( I'm NA so I have been concerned when none of my grade reviews incur an increase but all the white boys get 6 points whenever they go in. :(

  • @linajajaja

if I'm being honest, apart from the fact that neither oxford or Cambridge offer my course, I wouldn't apply to either because of the lack of diversity. I grew up in a white town and ever since nursery I've been the only black girl in my year group. these past 14 years have been mentally draining and I've had enough. This Autumn I'm applying to places that are significantly more ethnically diverse cuz I am TIRED.
But I still appreciate this video, you're a star Vee ❤️
