Hi!! I will be 18 when I apply to the Atlantis program (if I do) and I was wondering if you had any advice for traveling alone, and a couple of other things: How many people were with you; do you usually stay together? Is there a specific dress code I have to follow outside of clinical rotations?

Hello👋🏽 and yes traveling alone can be a bit intimidating as it’s your first time but I would just make sure that you are sharing your location at all times and make sure you stay in contact with your team leader who you will be meeting up with for the Atlantis program. When I got to the Airbnb in Spain there were 7 other people there so I went with a very small group. But majority of the time we would stay together or split into smaller groups of 3 or 4 if we went out for fun or for grocery shopping. And no there’s no specific dress code to follow outside of the clinical rotation!! :))

did you have to pay for everything yourself or were somethings covered by atlantis?

You pretty much pay for everything :)) outside of lunch and breakfast when you get to the hospital. But it depends on your hospital mines offered free lunch and breakfast for staff.
