Beautiful clothesline and the way you did it with the instructions very understandable. Thank you 😊. Looking forward for more of what you will be doing for the outdoor living ❤ God bless 😇😇😇
Very nice build. I like the jig you built to maintain the post plumb while you poured and cured the cement. The solar lights on the posts is an excellent upgrade and the wire cables certainly will out last cloth lines. And the plant hangers add the perfect set up for giving a boring and generally installed eyesore clothes line, a decorative tough of charm and beauty! My wife has been begging for a clothes line and I just found the perfect one!! Thanks for sharing!!
Great video, Tina! We've been wanting to put up a clothesline for quite some time. Perhaps after we finish building our chicken coop - this will be our next project. 😎
Thanks for the tutorial. Where do I buy the crimps? We only have Home Depot and Lowe's. Can you attach a picture of the crimps? I have very poor eye vision. Thanks Maria
Here is a link to some on the Canadian Tire website. You can buy them at most hardware or farm supply shops. www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/strata-metal-clothesline-clips-10-pk-0428927p.0428927.html?&&&&ds_rl=1283573&gbraid=0AAAAADojZpie4l95zpUHwObrE0mxi--z3&ds_rl=1283573&gclid=Cj0KCQjwnrmlBhDHARIsADJ5b_nLNsK_vxGs5LYcv97Xzq5H5YwsOaXe9lkAjQ6Ur51lrQqrF_wEkXwaAsP3EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds#store=930
I had to build another one as the first one, although cemented and braced bowed terribly. Now I’m ready to connect wire and the post still(new ones, 3 ft deep, are springy closer to hook and 45 degree angle braces. I’m staying with it regardless. Maybe metal posts would have been stronger. Every clothesline my hubby built in past(5 kids size) always turned out perfect. FRUSTRATED in Pennsylvania 🤷🏼♀️
That's my jam too! 😁 Speaking of Jam...the large Jif Peanut Butter recall took away our family's pb stash so I've decided to start making it myself. What's your favorite Nut Butter recipe? Thank you for all you are doing! I appreciate all your DIY know how & inspiration!! 🙏🏻
I am so sorry to hear about your pb stash. We’ve only made small quantities of nut butter in the food processor by accident. 😬 We try to buy several brands of our favourite canned goods so that if there is a recall, the whole stash isn’t trash. Although these days, that is getting more difficult to do, unfortunately.
How do you think using the 30-inch long spiked post holders, which you pound into the ground and then attach the 4x4 post, would work rather than concreting the posts in? I have used them for a 30 ft long trellis, an animal pen, and the pergola over my patio...without any bending or swaying whatsoever. I am wondering, however, if the weight of the clothes would eventually cause a problem...?

Looks great, love the extra touches and the solar light on top is a great idea😊

My childhood home had a clothesline door so you could hang/unhang inside if it rained. In fact, most houses on our street did. I really miss it!
That is neat. I’ve never seen one of those. We have a few racks for indoor drying, but they aren’t great for sheets or larger items.
Thank just what have been looking for. After 7 videos.
i think this is perfect. I didn't think of lights for the top and the added hook for the clothes pin bag either. thank you for this video.
Well done. Thanks for the instructions.
Glad it was helpful!
I’m almost finished building mine, thank you for this tutorial!

Thanks! I can’t wait to see how your chicken coop turns out. A clothesline will be easy peasy after the coop build.
Great video I'm in the market for a clothes line. Been looking for ideas.😂
Oh, new subscriber by the way…up in New Hampshire. 👍🏻

Thanks

Oh my! I am sorry to hear this. I wonder if our clay soil makes a difference.

I noticed it's been a year since you posted this. How have they held up?
Absolutely. We occasionally have to tighten the lines.
How long is the hole in the ground?
The auger was 1m long or just over 3 ft.
@@rosesforheavenshop Thank you....greetings from the Inkas's land
General rule is 1/3rd the length of the post buried for stability.
