I think I read on Lin’s something that she chose colors that complement Blend Bunny’s other rainbow palettes, but are not identical. Either way, it’s a pass for me. This woman has enough rainbow palettes to last me a lifetime. I’m waiting on the NOMAD palette to arrive! And YES on the Lunar Beauty palette unless it is too warm.
I had a Jason Wu palette from Target. I really liked it, it was very neutral and I did declutter it eventually. It's a good "natural your face but better" brand from my experience.
I think the Lins and BB palette looks really cute, albeit very colourful. I hate red eye shadow so as soon as a palette comes out with no reds, I will consider it 😅
I am thinking about the second Bailey Sarian collab. Big fan of hers and her vibe even before her channel really blew up. I did get the palette and a couple of lipsticks from the first one. If I do spring for it it will only be a couple of things probably, not the whole collection. Gotta keep reeling myself in too! Have a great rest of your weekend. 💜
I loooove Glisten Cosmetics shimmer and glitter glosses 😊they have awesome shimmery & glittery eyeliners and liquid shadows too. I think it's fun to have a collab between 3 parties like that! 😊the design and illustrations are cute. I'm looking forward to the reviews and to see swatches. I've honestly been tired of BBs many large and repetitive palettes. Someone did swatch comparisons of their first 4 colourful palettes and already had a lot of basically identical shades, that was well over a year ago and like 6 or 7? palettes ago. I like that this one is smaller and not full of gradients. I'm glad I only ever bought the Primal of their big palettes.
I thought I would get Nomad, but, the left side is too cool. I don’t think the Blend Bunny feels as much rainbow with all the deep shades, it’s pretty cute
Ugh, I'm super interested in the liner brush set from Glisten (they do flakies that are very similar to the ones Danessa Myricks sells, and I've got two of those and love them. They're super pretty once you get the hang of them!), but the brush set is already sold out on BB's site 😫 I've got one brush that they sell and it's great which is why I wanted to get the set. Hopefully they restock! Also wanted to say that I simply ADORE you eye makeup today, Rachel!! I can't remember ever seeing you do graphic liner, but it's stunning! Hope your weekend is a great one!

I was a huge Strawberry Shortcake fan as a child. My mom bought my then 2 year old sister the babydoll one year and I ended up trading her my barbie for the doll lol.... I like the collection but unfortunately I like to eat too. No new makeup for me for awhile lol. But I love seeing all the new stuff.

Those Blend Bunny palettes are $46 each? Yeeaahhhh, it's a pass for me. Is it so expensive because they think all her followers will buy it? That's insane to me. Pass pass pass on those. No way. My Nomad Polar Express delivered yesterday and oh my gosh it's even more stunning in person! Such a pretty holiday-ish color story. I'm sure I'll want the Lunar Beauty Palette. I ordered Ensley Reigns Hoppy palette. Other than those, I'm passing on everything else. Too many palettes coming and while I realize indie costs more, but these brands keep upping their prices and people are going to stop buying them. We all have been loyal customers buying most of their palettes, if not all, but I feel like some of them are taking advantage of that. They push it too far and people aren't going to play anymore.
I think the Blend Bunny is expensive because the pans are magnetic which makes the cost go up quite a bit! I also love Polar Express - I’m wearing it on my eyes right now 🙂
@rachelapalmieri I kind of get it. Ensley is$50 for their small palettes and they are magnetic, but they also have special shades. And I could be wrong, but I've heard other brands talk about how the water activated eyeliners are actually cheaper to make. But I don't know because I'm not in the business lol. For my money, if I'm going to spend a lot, I want special shades. In reality, between Blend Bunny, Bellabeautebar, Ensley,Nomad, etc... I don't need anymore Rainbow palettes anyways. I'm kind of glad when I get to pass on a bunch of stuff. I know some people get upset, but I like it. Less choices, easier to watch my spending. 🤣
