  • We've been developing the supercharger for an Aston Martin Vantage for some time now.
We've ran into all sorts of technical lessons along the way.
    Stay tuned for Episode 4.

Looking forward to seeing this thing reversed engineered and developed. Interested to see this tested on a 4.7L as all of the data out there on supercharges both ESX and GMR have been on a 4.3.

@brettannica There's a broad range of outputs that are possible, in the case of this car it was making close to 600WHP at the time it bent a rod. This engine has been build specifically to handle boost and can probably handle that output level without issue. For a stock 4.3L, it's probably a very different calculus. But adding 100BHP on relatively low boost would be a good target.

Nice. I thinking (and pulling figures out of thin air here) that the small drop in compression you mentioned would now be in the high 10:x's ?? Boost around 4-7psi?
Got a few of your products, so looking forward to following this one mate 👍🏼

Wow.. first I'm hearing about this project. So awesome to watch the process of what can be enhanced, kept or minimized for consumers in the future! Love it!

I heard the audio of the intro (car revving) but I'm 0:25 seconds in and Stuart is talking but I don't heard him.
Edit: scrubbed all the way thru and no audio. Went back to the beginning to check, and the VAP rev is fine.
EDIT 2: tried it again with headphones, and I can hear Stuart. I think maybe the reason I couldn't hear before is the audio is hard left and maybe my phone didn't deal with that well.
