- This Ford Focus was queueing in standing traffic and wanted to go left at the junction.
Camera Vehicle was Turning Right so moves into the Right hand lane but is quickly stopped by the Focus Blocking her path.
The focus driver seems very aggressive pointing at the cars ahead .
However there is zero way to know at this point the road is merging ahead , it has only very recently been made a merge point hours earlier and there was zero signage at that point to let drivers know it merged.
The camera car was delayed by the focus for 15 minutes, blocking the open lane which should be used to the merge point anyway.
this is the problem on the roads today, drivers interpret their own rules or methods when things like this arise and maybe dont realise the implications and actual illegal activity they're doing.
This driver was reported through the GMP online reporting portal.
The only way bad driving like this will change is when there is a penalty issued.
There should be a TV campaign around this and other issues on the road to educate the ignorance out of people like this.

Your absolutely correct. They were temporary restrictions for bike lanes being installed, but the crazy part was there was zero need to block the lane and even have a red light at the time. They had closed the lane of traffic off that would have needed the red light so it was all a pointless exercise. The next day there was no light for that direction at all.
How many times have you seen lanes closed on motorway and nothing getting done no workers , no machines nothing
It's time that 'merge in turn' was promoted, instead of giving one lane priority over the other.
It's only a matter of the Sec. of State for Transport starting the ball rolling.

He probably knew that the right lane was blocked at the junction, thought he was being a justice warrior... and then decided that the idea of a zipper merge was an affront to his lane rights. You know, instead of being the intelligent and courteous thing that allows traffic to flow.
I wish you hadn't blurred out his license plate - there's no need to as it's public data - because I would love to search the car for tax/MOT/insurance. Self-righteous twats like them frequently have one or the other missing.
The reason is once posted online its there forever, the owner of the car can change. New owner gets the blame which isn't fair.
@@DannyDashcam That's completely reasonable and I respect that. In the UK, the registration stays with the car and not the person.
All I'll say though is - wouldn't it be nice if the police recognised that? Pretty tedious to own a car that was once involved in a crime.

The GMP dont do post report updates but I'm almost certain they will have acted.

Of registration goes online its there forever, so if the vehicle is sold on the new owner is made out to be the aggressor.

This will be an unpopular post but I totally agree with the lane blocker's action for what I consider is a glaringly obvious reason.

Rule 134. You should follow the signs and road markings and get into the lane as directed. ... Merging in turn is recommended but only if safe and appropriate when vehicles are travelling at a very low speed, e.g. when approaching road works or a road traffic incident.
