    This exercise is very doable to incorporate in my everyday life. I don’t have to clear a comfortable place and get down on the floor.

    One glute is visibly smaller than the other (but weirdly it is actually my stronger leg-when I do step ups, that side is easier and more stable), is it possible to build up the flatter, smaller glute? If so, what is the best way to accomplish this? I have become really self-conscious about it. Thank you. I will definitely be trying this move!

    A couple questions, based on one leg weaker than the other from 2 ACL surgeries a couple years ago… which leg in front? The weak leg or the strong leg? Also, the tile says 3 Glute exercises, you show 2. Can you link the whole thing? Thank you.

      I would imagine you do this on each side so each leg has a turn in front. 😊

    I'll have to try this thanks but I just wanted to say that I've been using your tip to stand from sitting with hip stiffness and it really does work to place the stress on the forefront of the foot is very much like a magic trick but it's real.. 😊

    Hi Alyssa this looks good, are these a good alternative to squats or split squats? I get irritation in hip if I do lots of squats, even chair squats.

    I think this is called a single leg deadlift. At least I would do this with a kettlebell and called it that 😂 There's slight lower back engagement that I liked when doing this exercise, especially as someone who sits a lot for work. And the hinge allowed for great glute stretch.
    But I was going too low at one point, which hurt my lower back and hamstrings so I stopped doing it.

    I like where you are going here, but my problem is with these weaker legs is to do this exercise effectively, because what I am doing feels like it is not working and it possibly is.
    Not arthritis, because my mom had that and died from that and many other ailments. For me it is Multiple sclerosis.

      I've started doing this exercise... I've never realised that one leg was stronger than the other until I was able to do this for the first time.
      You're truly amazing. It's easier to trust you since you are an arthritis expert.
