From Royal Ballet Dancer to Educator: Josh Tuifua's inspiring journey in Ballet and beyond

Joshua's incredible journey in the world of ballet began with the Royal Ballet School's Junior Associates program, where his talent was first discovered through an outreach initiative with Inner London Primary Schools. After excelling as a JA, he earned a place at the prestigious Royal Ballet School, training at White Lodge and completing his education at the Upper School.
During his remarkable career with the Royal Ballet Company, Josh rose to the rank of Soloist and performed countless roles. After retiring, Josh transitioned into teaching, earning a Professional Dancers’ Teaching Diploma with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Dance.
In this video, Josh shares his passion for dance, advice for aspiring dancers, and the importance of transferable skills. His story shows how creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving in high-pressure environments can open new doors beyond performance.
