The lid is a cookie mold- roll out sugar cookie dough and press it in!
I love the specialty lids, I always buy them at $8-$13!!
I have to say...ive been burning Sweet Carrot Cake for years, but i recently tried the Goose Creek version and im in love with it! Cinnamon is in the forefront to me..and maybe a lil TOO much, but im loving it🤣
I tried Main Street Bakery and was pleasantly surprised and picked up another one. I passed on the Cherry Pound cake.
I really like Cherry Blossom Poundcake. I smell the cake and frosting notes with a more sour than floral cherry note. I didn't like Pink Petal Tea Cake even though it has a cake and "glaze" note- it was all perfume to me. Another cake and frosting floral candle from BBW that I loved was Sweet Rosemary Vanilla.
I love Main Street Bakery. It may out beat my favorite candle of all time.-Banana Bundt Cake out. We shall see as I burn her more.
The scent I can do without is Sweet Carrot Cake...too much spice cake for me to consider it a spring scent ( I did buy a Hummingbird Tea Cake though).😅
I agree…I don’t care too much about a fancy lid. Most people notice a label before they would a lid IMO. Sweet carrot cake smells great on cold, but burning I don’t care for it unfortunately. Tfs!
I also wish they would have kept less expensive packaging for Sweet Carrot Cake. I’ve already finished one & burning the other today. Lovely scent to burn on a rainy Spring day.

I am 100% behind you when it comes to the lids. You couldn't pay me to care less about a fancy lid. I didn't get the Cherry Blossom Poundcake as it was a bit too floral for me.
I'll openly fall in those opposing opinions in the candle community, on being one to actually like cherry blossom pound cake and also not like main street bakery! I cant do banana bundt cake either. Great video! Thanks for sharing, i enjoy hearing your thoughts on things

Hey Josh. I wish they sweetened up the cherry blossom more. I can still detect their JCB smell in it so hopefully my daughter will like. I really like Main Street bakery. It’s almost like they’re crunchy English toffee with a little banana in it. Wasn’t a fan of Kringle’s bananas foster at all. So true on the sticker on the sweet carrot cake. Good smell. May not be spot on carrot cake but nice. Tried goose creeks and wasn’t a fan🤷🏼♀love your sofa and the color😍
I skipped out on Main Street Bakery. I detected an overly ripe banana on cold and got a touch of Runts candy as well. Then again, I dislike most Banana scents🍌🚫

Interesting how we all perceive scents. Regarding Main Street Bakery neither do I or my husband smell any banana while this candle is being burned. I asked my husband what he smelled and his reply was Vanilla pudding. My neighbor dropped by and also said all she could smell was Vanilla pudding. 🤷🏻♀️ My best friend said she could smell some banana but more Vanilla.
I bought Paris Cafe last year on line and promptly took it back to the store for an exchange. That candle was Way Too strong to the point of gagging. I know a lot of people enjoy it, but it’s not for me. Didn’t care for the Cherry Blossom candle when sniffed in the store.
Sweet Carrot Cake is just okay. Nothing spectacular about it and a ridiculous price. I would never purchase it without a discount.
Lavender Marshmallow is a very nice fragrance. I do enjoy this one. Wish it burned a bit cleaner.

It smells like banana pudding to me. Even banana runts. I love both so I’m good with that. It is funny how we all have different perceptions of smells. Ever since I got “C” and lost my smell for a while, I now like vanilla (I hated vanilla smells before.) I also now dislike pumpkin marshmallow latte (which I used to love).
I didn't get a bit of banana from Main Street Bakery when I was burning it. It just smelled like cooked butter to me. 👎🏼
