I got mine at delivered 6:55 pm on Friday. It was guaranteed to be delivered by 7. 😐
Boy was I happy to get it. I’ve been in awe since. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s hard to believe how amazing it is. The immersive video is the most incredible thing. Also the audio pods are probably the best sounding system I’ve ever heard. The music app is so enjoyable and bringing the messages app right up in front of me is wonderful!
Love the videos! Keep it up! 👍
Agreed. This thing is awesome.
You are so smart and so funny but most of all so real. I was waiting all week for this. Well done and congratulations on your new innovation!
If you think I’m real, you haven’t seen my Persona. 😀
@@DrWiggo Careful the Persona is gonna steal your real self’s life away!
Great video! I rarely comment on videos but I love your sense of humor, you remind me of my biology professor, very funny with a touch of sarcasm lol. I too got my Apple Vision Pro and I love it! I spent my Friday night watching music videos from Apple Music on a MASSIVE SCREEN on the Moon 🌕 at night 😁
Why are we all spending our time on the moon? 😀
Best professor ive had by far. Im excited for this semester 😂😂 you have no clue
Why are you watching RUclips when you have assignments due tomorrow? 😀
@@DrWiggo okay look. I'll get them done. Promise 😂
Hello from Ireland … looking forward to getting one … be amazing to share experiences with family across the world . For example being in a cinema
I hope you don’t have long to wait!
Thanks for the video! I had a feeling that the passthrough cameras were sensitive to low light issues after seeing some of the other unboxing videos but yours confirmed it for me. A very similar thing happened to me with the Quest 3, I unpacked it, put it on and then said to my wife "I think there's a problem" because the passthrough video in my apartment was very grainy because of the soft light. It was only after watching videos on youtube that I realized it was a universal problem and not a defect in mine. The Vision Pro cameras are probably better but not immune from the same issue.
Exactly. It even started complaining about the low light.
Doctor I LOVE YOU. the best Vision pro video in the RUclips. period
That’s overstating it a bit. MKBHD and Casey Neistat have better videos.
@@DrWiggo I watched and rhey are boring . Nothing compares the way you present everything. With humor , self sarcasm and pure excitement.
P.S. Casey was fun too.
I appreciate your enthusiasm... It's contageous!
Thanks! But in this case, it’s an expensive contagion. 😀
Loved the video!!! Specially being honest and real
Learned long ago that honesty is easier than trying to keep track of lies.
I have the same exact feeling about taking it off. You just want to go back inside
It’s like Ready Player One! 😀
Great video happy I clicked! Looking forward to following your Vision Pro adventure!
Welcome aboard! This video is a realistic preview (though there are usually more stories and tangents).
You are definitely giving me Doc Emmett Brown vibes lol 😅 I love your videos. Great job
1.21 gigawatts!
Great video as usual !!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I think the sharpness has also to do with brightness. The posters in the back had much less light than then things infront
I think you are correct, sir!
Wooo you got it! I’m loving mine so far.
Ditto! I've watched 4 3D movies (so far!)
Your face got an imprint of the vision pro hehe. Cool video.
That’s been way reduced by the dual loop band.
Hi Dr Wiggo, if you notice any warping, then you might need to reconfigure the eye tracking setup. I think I read on Twitter that the warping compensation is individually mitigated based on your eye tracking setup.
Thanks for the tip.
Awesome, you are really funny, man. I can’t believe you bought an entire second device for worry about light seal fit. Maybe by now you have figured out that you can buy light seals separately in the accessories section for $199.00 and do the face scan in the process. That’s what I’ve done for the same or similar worries as you. My device is coming in the mail and to make a long story short, I have a total of three light seals, and two sets of readers coming and at least one light seal is pretty much guaranteed to be unnecessary, while the other two may be more necessary, considering that the light seal size is different depending on whether or not you put in the glasses inserts (I think, if you put the inserts in, the seal will need to be longer). However, you’re proving what I thought to be right about readers in the first place. They should not be necessary. I noticed, when I put on my quest 2, that I didn’t need readers for it. And when I found out more about how presbyopia is the cause for needing readers as you get over 40 years of age, and it being a result of the lens in your eye, becoming harder for your eye muscles to flex so that you can see things up close, considering that any display only has one focal distance, regardless of the image that it’s displaying, it makes all the sense in the world, for VR headsets to be designed with that focal distance set far enough away such that the eye can be in its most relaxed state, which would result in less eye fatigue, benefiting everyone, including those of us who have presbyopia. And I think that “is” how all VR headsets are actually designed, including the Vision Pro. Maybe readers work for conditions, other than presbyopia, I don’t know, but I won’t be mad if I find that I don’t need the readers. Spending a little extra to experiment and get the best experience with this kind of tech is well worth the trouble. And you seem to agree enough to tie up twice the money on it, as well, big daddy warbucks. 😂. Great video, have a good one.
That option wasn’t there on order day. And besides, I said I was an idiot! 😀
@@DrWiggo Hah!!! OK touché on the option not being there at lunch. That just makes what you did make even more sense to me. If I had the money, I’d likely have done the same thing. I think this device will be more than worth the trouble.
I noticed all these RUclipsrs all have very dark room behind their lights so obviously, it looks a lot worse for them. When I opened mine in my living room, it looked amazing because everything was so bright.
Mine definitely looks better in the living room in daylight.
I was waiting for your reaction.
Better than I expected.
Your issue with the far field poster being blurry has to do with the low-light situation in your room; this is an issue with literally EVERY VR headset and really cannot be solved; its just the limitations of our physical cameras.
You think that working with cameras in low light would have clued me in, but once inside it feels like magic so you forget about the cameras.
Dark rooms are not good for the pastor. It makes it very hard to see you have to go into very bright rooms. It’s like a real camera that way.
Been finding that out.
I want to know one thing: Does Avatar in 3D look as good or better than in a theatre?
Yes. I think it’s better, because I can adjust the screen position and size (and be on the moon). 🌙
Lol your like me ,id be watching movies all day ., on the moon 😂
I did watch one movie on the moon.
You’re cool dude
Thanks!
Only those of us with the keenest of eyesight might have noticed the slightest of lines on your face.
Aww. You’re an excellent liar and I appreciate you. 😀
Wow 😮 definitely gave you red face
That’s been reduced a great deal with the dual-loop band.
A RUclipsr that reviews tech but does not fly? What! That is hard to believe. /s
Technically I’m a college professor who doesn’t fly. 😀
