The professor developed male pattern baldness at the age of 15. It greatly affected his confidence and sent him reeling into alcoholism. @@Piranhadrama absolutely, and we loved the other worldly green you used for the "plants" it almost reminds me of "Creep Show", the Stephen King story. any way keep it up!
@@DylanMaida-e3x We’ve heard the Stephen King’s Creepshow comparison several times. While it wasn't a direct influence on this project, we are big fans of the series. As for the color grade, in terms of the green foliage, I wanted to emphasize the greens and reds in the movie. By making the greens more of a teal color, I could achieve better color separation from the characters, particularly those wearing more yellow tones, like the deputy and sheriff.
Thought it was Ai generated and thought the acting was weird but it's meant to be that way as a homage to the fifties classics. We got some talented filmmaking hidden gems here.
Thank you very much, my friend! The acting might be a little, shall we say, unique since our cast is mostly amateurs. We really appreciate you tuning in! And make sure to tell your friends about Piranha Drama!
Very well done. Enjoyable. Thanks for doing it. When "The End" flashes wait a couple of seconds and then inset a question mark after it. Although that beacon was sent out, I figured there would be s shot at the end with the military officers talking to the participants saying, "Don't mention this to anybody. Once we get that ship reverse engineered, we will be giving them a visit."
That's a great idea! It really fits with how science fiction films of that time often concluded. However, we wanted to keep the ending more ambiguous. What really happened when the ships reached Earth? I enjoy the thought of letting the viewer determine the outcome. Thanks for tuning in and checking it out!
Loved this very reminiscent to movies of that time! The colors popped! In my opinion the only nitpick for me was that movie would have been cooler if it was in Black and White! Maybe make a special edition of it in that version? but other wise fantastic stuff was entertained from beginning to end!

This was great! Quality lighting and set design and well acted with sympathetic characters. This movie was well aware of itself and had it's heart in the right place. So glad RUclips recommended this. Subscribed.
Thank you so much! We spent three crazy years bringing this to life-my garage practically became a Hollywood backlot with three different sets, homemade props, DIY special effects, and all kinds of gags. Thanks for tuning in and checking it out!
Best comment. Wish it was mine😊

This was an Excellent representation of the late 50's or early1960's pop culture in America, i am in shock to be honest and also impressed.
The lighting was very well done, the production design and effects on point for your budget and the acting was pretty darn Good..
When Hollywood collapses very Soon , As i think it will.... it's going to up to young film makers like yourself to bring back the fun to the Movie Industry
and the theater goers which has been lost over the last decades in our great country.
Dennis Quaid has stated recently they are in the process of moving a Hollywood system into Texas or even possibly Arizona , They are going to need new talent
and it's good folks like you that are going to be part of that....With that being said somebody needs to get this little Gem of a Film to that man...
I'm sure he would enjoy your reaching out...
It was just a thought i had, wishing your team much success in your future endeavors.
And Thank You!!!!!! I will be sharing this with some of my friends✌🖖

@@moondog305 Wow, thank you so much for the kind words and thoughtful insight! It means a lot to hear that our work resonated with you, especially when it comes to capturing that nostalgic feel. We're truly grateful for your support and for sharing the film with others. And I completely agree-there’s a lot of potential for new filmmakers to bring back that magic to the industry. Thanks again for your encouragement!!
Congratulations to everyone involved in this it was tremendous. ❤️
Thank you so much for tuning in. We're truly humbled by your kind words.
What an awesome nonsensical fun little movie. I was clicking on this ready to rip it apart because I thought it was going to be some AI garbage but boy was I wrong! The acting is perfect for what this movie is. There is some scenes that i had to rewind and watch over just because i loved the feeling it gave me watching it. It reminds me of the late nights when i was a kid having friends sleepover and watch Courage the Cowardly Dog
That’s a huge compliment, especially since most of the cast are family and friends, and only a handful have any acting experience. I’m also really happy it brought a bit of nostalgia for you. And I love Courage the Cowardly Dog too! Thanks so much for watching and sticking with us-it truly means the world!
This movie is so rad! Make lots more movies please!!
Thanks for watching! We're glad you enjoyed it, and I promise we're making more movies! 🎥
I liked this alot, great lighting and color. Great make up effects and plenty of goop n blood while still alighting feeling innocent. Total thumbs up

I certainly hope this warrants a sequel! This used to be my favourite genre of film until Hollywood destroyed it. Here you come from the ashes 😢... Its gods work. 😂 love it.

Stumbling upon this has been the happiest little accident. I watch a lot of independent animated shorts on RUclips, but this may be the first live action “film” I have enjoyed this much or been this impressed with on here. Thank you to all involved.

Very well done for am amature production. I particularly enjoyed the attention to the background props, they really sold the time period.
@@Capt-quirk1 thank you! Having a really small budget, we tried to squeeze in any little detail we could to make it feel authentic. Thanks for tuning in!

@Piranhadrama it would be a great idear.
Congratulations: Great movie. Reminds me of my youth with movies like Bad Taste, Re-Animator or Street Trash: Good Luck with further projects
Thanks for checking it out. Love all of those films, btw! Our film was in production about as long as Bad Taste! Cheers!
This was awesome. The only bad thing was the professors wig!
The professor developed male pattern baldness at the age of 15. It greatly affected his confidence and sent him reeling into alcoholism. While walking downtown one day, he passed a department store window with a mannequin wearing a fashionable wig. This inspired him to seek council and turn his life around.
@@Piranhadramalol yes!
Wait, that was a wig?! I thought his mustache was fake!
@@stufastback hah!! You are the actor in the film!

@@pdkup thanks for watching!
this is how you do small budget films! amazing keep it up!!!!!!
Thanks for watching! So glad you enjoyed it!
@@Piranhadrama honestly all those other larger "small" budget films have NO EXCUSES !!!! this film blows them out of the water. this is what it looks like when people LOVE what they do!
@ Exactly! Passion always trumps budget. It may have taken a few years to get it done, but we worked incredibly hard to honor those wonderful films of the 1950s. We might not have hit every beat, but I truly feel we did the genre justice.
What a bloody masterpiece!
Great job,, lost of fun, especially sense I love retro si Fi.
Well, hot damn, we’re glad you liked it! Thanks for tuning in!
Really GOOD! Make some more!
