Slipknot has some really really good stuff and they definitely revolutionized Nu-Metal. I'd definitely recommend Psychosocial next as it's a lot different from Duality but still has the incredible energy and I'd love to see what you think of it and how you'd break it down.
Surfacing, Eyeless, Spit it Out and People=Shit are some of the "Classic" chaotic Slipknot sound, if you're interested in following up with their insanity. I especially recommend the 2009 Live at Download version of Spit it Out, as well as the 2002 in London live version for People=Shit, the latter really showcases the wildness and showmanship that was part of the original appeal when they broke out. Obviously the production of the studio isn't there, but you could also watch the studio version and the live back to back to get a taste of the proper mix versus the energy on stage.
As another comment mentioned, Psychosocial is also a very good song to react to but I would actually like to see Snuff on this channel. Its very different from the rest and I love it.
Corey Taylor is one of my top 5 rock/metal vocalists. Keep in mind he also fronts the band Stone Sour, which is less aggressive. He also has a lot of solo work. As far as the drumming goes, they do have 3 people on percussion, FYI.
Of all the reviewers I have watched, you are the most indepth review I have seen. Just like your review of this song. It's deep, insightful, full of variety, and well balanced. Look forward to more great reviews. Keep up the good work. 🤘
I have always felt that Duality and Psychosocial are the two best introductory songs for Slipknot especially for someone who isn't a metalhead to begin with not too over baring but still shows you a little bit of the "heavy" side. (I put " " because once you start to deep dive into their discography the two tracks mentioned are pretty tame comparatively speaking in my opinion)
If you feel willing to challenge yourself(sort of I suppose) with some metal deep into the genre, then Vildhjarta is a band to check out. Their composition is incredibly unique and fantastic. They are insanely original and in a league of their own. Something that can be challenging however is the vocals and the wierd timesignatures. If you are willing to check them out, I suggest «måsstadens nationalsang(under vatten)». Side note: it transitions into the next song. Second side note: the lyrisk are spedisjonstjenester. And finally third note: the album the song is a part of is a concept album.
Duality is a great song to start with if you want something faster go with the blister exists from the same album if you want an old school intense song go with sic

Psychosocial is a radio biscuit and not even in the the top 20 of songs they've done.

Good intro Slipknot. They have serious heavy songs that are bangers. They are still headlining festivals 25 years later
Allegaeon “Proponent for Sentience III “
Allegaeon “Gray Matter Mechanics “
I've been waiting for you to get to Slipknot. Hope you continue to check out more.

You should listen to some soundgarden, black hole sun is their most well known song but holy water, outshined, and mailman are my personal favorites.
I didn't care for this song the first time I heard it but after hearing other stuff of theirs, it became one of my favorites.
Before I forget will probably get you going dude
Great video. Good production. Interesting dual opinion. Good script. Only hang up. It's still an opinion, and you recognized that. Well done.
Great expectations is the mother of all buzzkills...

I never was big fan of slipknot but duality is one of few slipknot's songs I actually really enjoy so I think it's good place to start with slipknot.
More Slipknot. Iowa track next maybe?
I think Snuff would be more up your alley. Incredible song with a heartbreaking story behind it
Psychosocial by Slipknot is brilliant
